Unfortunately we couldn't go to Grand memories in Bahamas because of the air stripe closure😏 We went to Riu Negril in Jamaica! The beach was horrible! All murky brown. The bus ride from airport to long!

Where do I start. Room not ready until around 4:00 p.m. got to hotel around 10:30 am.Toilet roll holder broken, toilet paper laying on the floor, clothes line in shower broken laying bathtub. The sliding door to the plunge pool so warped that I could not open it. Huge puddle of water on the ground dripping down from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. The stairs to plunge pool slippery and soaking wet as were the chairs from the dripping water from above. Maid service horrible had to ask for hand and bath towels almost every day as I was told they were not ready yet whatever that means. After many calls to front desk still waited one nite until 10:00 p.m. Rooms not vacuumed and did a really poor job cleaning the bathrooms. Two mornings no water in plunge pool. I had called customer service on the Saturday when we arrived with all my complaints and took until Tuesday for them to finally move us to another room. Had maintenance men in trying to fix door, fix broken bathroom items, pool people, maids for towels or lack there of, had to call about fridge being replenished on more than one occasion. I think I spoke to the front desk or customer service almost everyday with a complaint and on most occasions no one even answered the phone. Really not a relaxing holiday with spending all my time trying to get things fixed. Front desk staff not helpful at all and in fact were very rude to me upon checkout. As we had purchased something in the Gift Shop a child's goggles (as my niece's goggles were taken from the pool bar while we were sitting there) and discovered they were the wrong size took them back to exchange and was told had to wait till manager came, I explained that I was leaving at 7:00 a.m. next morning, the lady asked for my room number and name and she told me that the money would be in an envelope for me in the morning when I checked out. When I enquired at check out was told no envelope for me, explained situation and was told "Too bad, can't help you", asked for manager told the whole story and he told me to wait that the store would open soon and to wait, was catching the bus at 7:10 so I told him we could not wait. Took my home address, email, phone number and still a month later have had NO reimbursement or any communication from the manager from the Memoires Grand Bahama Beach Resort. Worst holiday ever........... needed a vacation from my vacation.

Arrival: The flight leaves Toronto at 6am. We were at the airport at 3:30am. I am 5 months pregnant and my husband was ill with a fever and cold. Upon arrival , there is absolutely no welcome drinks or direction. They slap on your wrist bands on the bus, have you fill in the registration card on the bus and give you a map of the hotel. I had stitches removed a few days before traveling, the lobby was full of people with nowhere to sit. we were told the room would be ready at 3pm. We requested an early check in at customer service. We were directed to the reception across. We waited 45min,There we were told that it would be 'impossible, because checkout for guests are 12pm'. We were given towel cards and told to go to the beach. By 2:30, my husband was barely able to stand, I took his temperature and found that his fever was 104 degrees. We went to the reception desk to get our room, where we were told that we were given the wrong information and that rooms would be ready at 4pm. I asked for a manager, whom we waited 40min to see. He too told us there was nothing he could do. We did not get our room till around 5pm. Once we reached our room I was shocked that they had given us a room with 2 double beds. The whole trip was our babymoon. My husband went into the shower to bring his temperature down. We discovered there were NO towels in the bathroom. Not even a wash cloth. I called front desk and was told they were sending towels right away. 1hr later we still had no towels, my husband used a t-shirt to dry himself off. Room: our room had no balcony, and nowhere to dry our wet bathing suits. The A/C in the room was loud enough to be heard outside in the hallway. We had to sleep with ear plugs. There always seemed to be something vital missing from the room, such as towels, or toilet paper. Calling service was useless, nobody ever showed up. After complaining several times we were switched to a room with a king sized bed, however the room was a handicap room. The bathroom had no bathtub and the water ran into the sink area leaving the bathroom soaked. I slipped in the middle of the night and barely caught the hand rail. The rooms are your basic cheap motel room standard. No counter in the room we were in to place mouthwash,toothpaste, toothbrush etc. Beach: beautiful beach, however you will never find a spot on the beach. People would wake up early morning to put towels on the beach chairs so by 8am nothing was available. Beach was unkept, littered with cigarette butts, drink cups and food. By day 2 even the beach towel station ran out of towels! We actually went across the street to purchase beach towels. Pools: the description states there are 2 pools. Reality there is a decorative column wall running in the centre of the pool, which they call a pool. The water smells like pee and there are no fun activities by the pool. Again, it's very difficult to find a spot by the pool. Restaurants: the staff are absolutely delightful. Unfortunately they cannot do anything about the food running out and the lack of response from management. Each waiter/waitress is looking after a huge section. There is a ridiculously long line up at the one main buffet where breakfast lunch and dinner is served. Once in, be prepared to line up at least 25min at the egg station. Breakfast was EXACTLY the same every single day. I asked for non-sweet yogurt due to pregnancy diabetes, they had none. The Prop Restaurant which serves food till 2am was always out of at least 2 items on the menu every day. We lined up to get into the steak restaurant. To our surprise, steak was not on the regular but was available at an additional $28 per person. The food they did have came out cold and the portion size was for an infant. Dinner, the few times we went later in the evening to avoid the lineup, there was no food left. We ate across the street to save our time and to enjoy our vacation. A LA Cart Restaurant: they have all but ONE single restaurant for booking a la cart. They take bookings at 11am, ppl lineup from 9am!!! My husband waited in line for 1:48min, he was 2ppl away from booking a dinner, but the announcement was made that the reservations were full. My husband asked for a voucher to return the next day to avoid the line up, he was told that he must come and wait again. We went to customer service and Veronica told us that in all the places she worked at it was the same. This is not true. At the Rui we were guaranteed 2 a la cart dinners. We just had to call from our room and the reservation was made. Even the Memories in Cuba were able to book our dinner via a simple visit to the desk (a 5 process) Entertainment: once again, no seating available if you go 30min before a show. The shows are poor. The Rock Show was an absolute disaster. The dancers were on stage dancing and playing air guitars. No costumes nothing. The worst was when they were break dancing to Led Zeppelin. 10 min into the show people started to leave. We didn't go to anymore shows. Customer Service: I spoke to Veronica, who could care less about the issues bought forward to her. She simply would de-minimize the situation by stating, 'all the hotels have the same issues'. My Husband and I travel 4 times out of the year, I have stayed at 2 star resorts with less issues. Save yourself the headache and don't bother with talking to anyone. In the end, my husband and I stayed off the resort for the most part so we could enjoy our vacation. We paid for meals off site. We went to a new beach each day. The resort has nothing to offer. Staff are limited to what they are given. Management does not care. They are booking every room in the resort but cannot handle the amount of ppl. They are not equipped with the staff or food to be running at full capacity. This place is nothing like any of the Memories chain we stayed at in other places.

Room was outdated but clean Service was VERY slow and mixed drinks at any bar and the service at the bars was horrible. The staff seemed to all hate their jobs. Pool was fine Beach was beautiful and ocean

The staff were very nice and helpful. The grounds were beautiful as were the beaches and marketplace. Only concern was the check-in on arrival. Very disorganized and frustrating. Beans Café was great.

I thought the beach was wonderful and the weather amazing but other than than just average. The rooms were not as clean as I would have wanted, the service was slow. The ala carte restaraunts were not always open due to a shortage of staff I believe.

food was good all other stuff ok except entertainment really sucked or lack of. People were friendly staff polite and slow but that ok. Entertainment was no more then the half hour of dance or music with the same people

Rooms need to be renovated deeply... I had to change my room because of water dripping. And I know that I wasn't the first one and definitely not the last one who had to change the room. The best description for the stuff- Lazy. The positive part was the beach...

No major concerns, I certainly would not want anyone to go by my comments...lobby & rooms were clean but dated; the grounds were nice; friendly staff was hit or miss; awesome beach and pool; food was excellent.

We were at the Memories Grand Bahamas from April 15-22. We previously cancelled a trip to Dominican Republic because I'm pregnant. The only place we could go that was Zika free was the Bahamas. We were going there with very little expectations since we read a lot of bad reviews about this place. We were surprised because it was a lot better than we expected. I mean, Bahamas is not tropical like Cuba, Dominican or Mexico. The weather was a bit chilly when we were there. Even the local said it was unusual for this time of year. At night we needed a sweater. The hotel is older with carpet in the rooms but it's clean. We upgraded to ocean view with Balcony and we were very happy about that. Other couples with us had an island view room with no balcony and were ok with their rooms too. (you are only in there to shower and sleep). The food was amazing! Steakhouse, Japanese and Italian were all very good. Japanese you reserve in the morning. Steak and Italian you line up at 5:45 to get in. We were a group of 10 and it was never an issue. Buffet was always very good as well. No complaints on food and service. The bars always runs out of straws (it' hard to drink frozen drink with no straw) but we read it on other reviews and brought are own straws. It was all good. We were 5 couples. The guys played golf next door. Free unlimited green fees but mandatory cart fee of $48US per person. They all loved it. They said the golf course was beautiful. Chairs in buffet are stained and could use a nice steam clean wash, but it didn't bother the service and the amazing food. Small resort where everything is closed by. We loved it! All and all, no complaints about this hotel. Nice market across the street for all your shopping need. Great service! Great beach! Great food!

The room was in great shape. The maid was friendly and the daily cleaning was impeccable. The grounds were well kept, the pool was cleaned daily. The buffet was excellent, with lots of choice. The service was a little slow, but that's "Bahamian time": stop and slow. The drinks were strong, the club and casino were great. The marketplace had plenty to choose from as well. Finally, the beach was excellent, and the water was a brilliant blue with lots of fish. All in all great place,and I will definitely go again.

We were lock out on our balcony,put into a room with a bad view,an air conditioner that was very loud,mini frig was not filled every day,public bathrooms were not fully operational,but the food was good the staff wonderful especially the diamond club bartenders. We were there for two weeks and never did recieve an apology from the maintance manager!!

The resorts is older which typically isn't an issue for us, however it is not well maintained. Our room was carpeted and smelled very heavy of smoke. We requested it be vacuumed but it was never done. Maintenance of this resort overall has not been kept up over the years. There are many things that can be improved upon. Pool was not well kept - and didn't seem to be cleaned daily. We're beach people and thought the beach was lovely. We didn't have issues finding a chair (however we're early birds). Service was NOT as good as we hoped. "Service with a smile" is a concept lost over here ... so is timeliness of service. We could only praise 5 servers from the entire trip that deserved it. The evening shows were horrible to put it nicely. We attended for a wedding which was very nice, however most of the pre-wedding work was done by the bride herself. I felt bad as the bride and groom apologized to their 20+ guests on their selection (mostly due to the poor service). Overall we're very disappointed with this resort.

The beach that this resort is on is simply amazing, beautiful and long. The pool on the other hand was nothing to write home about, and the water looked dirty. Unfortunately, the so called 4 star resort was filthy. Yes we knew it was an older resort, and yes we knew the bathrooms would be small, but nobody said anything about the filth. The buffet was the worst. Cushions on the chairs were so dirty, I didn't want to sit on them. The food was ok, better than Cuba, Mexico or Dominican. If you are ok with the filth, this is an ok 3 star resort

Overall, was a great stay, Neg. was carpets in the rooms have to be changed. Musty odor and the same with the couches and chairs. Only minor things. Food ,drinks and people all great. Had a great time with my long time friends.

Very clean everywhere, beach is beautiful, pool is great lots of room to move about. Rooms were very nice and clean, loved the kid park and teenage area...caters to all. The only snag was the bar service... really slow.

Food was good throughout and beach is beautiful. The service was hit and miss. Some staff members go out of their way to help and others completely ignore you. Beach bartenders were especially cold and ignorant.

Staff were great. The resort is small and provides great access for stroller or wheelchairs. Rooms were dated, but appeared to be freshly painted. Food was excellent at the steakhouse, but you never knew if it was going to be open. Not really any nightlife unless you go to the casino or market across the street. Transportation to the golf course was very quick and always available.

Service: Although there were a few nice employees working at the hotel, I would say that the majority of staff were cold and unhelpful. We travelled with an infant and the hotel was unacccomodating. Most times we had to grab our high chair, and sometimes our own food at the restaurant as it was just sitting there. Food: food was decent. I do not have complaints on that front. Cleanliness: hotel was clean, and cleaning staff did a good job with our room. Our biggest disappointment was with the service. It could be a nice hotel but we were extremely disappointed with the staff. Most were cold and totally unacccomodating.

Memories resort in Freeport Bahamas is a wonderful resort whether ur taking the kids or just relaxing with your significant other. Food is outstanding along with the beaches and activities . The staff and just the people in general are so welcoming . I definitely will be back

The staff at resort were very laid back nothing and I mean nothing was a rush. Tipping did not get you anymore or less anywhere on the island. The food was good. The plunge pools were only heated during the day which was nice tohave but a waste of money but nice to have. Bees are a problem and that staff says they are stung often. Al in all a good resort. Not a lot of activities but we were there when on half the resort was full. I would go back. The food is one of the best I have had out of the last 9 resorts in the carribean

I had a bad experience at this resort. Sometimes rude service, cold food, slow service waiting for cutlery and often had to get it myself. Woke up in bed with several bites. Checked for bed bugs, didn't see any but definitely something not right. Other things as well. What a waste of my hard earned money.

Mama Bee: colorina arcoiris vasquez Trip Advisor review: I loved the way the Resort was set-up, fast check-in/out even just for non-Diamond Club Member, great flow, great food, great beach, amazing pool design, and great Staff especially the Entertainers such as Mama Bee, Jose, Valentina, Natalie, the Italian Lady (sorry for forgetting the name) and ofcourse the great music at the Prop Bar - the Karaoke nights were such a great idea to release all the stress which could've been so much greater if they were longer time untill no one else wants to sing their hearts out - loved the Disco Nightclub every night dancing the night away while munching on wings, nachos, burgers, and fries along with our fave booze. Social Bar, Pool Bar, and Prop Bar bartenders were nice. Stage decor could've been better on the New Year's Eve and perhaps to have someone as a guard on the stage so then kids would not ruin the other decoration. Casino was nice but no luck gambling. Overall it was indeed the Best Resort by far as a matter of fact we'll be returning again to Memories Grand Bahamas Beach & Casino Resort again this coming August 2016 for Bday getaway. I've told my coworkers about my recent vacation and they're all want to go to this Resort as well at some point. So, you all better start planning to visit here before they turn this into a 5-star Resort $$$.

Very disappointing trip right from the minute we arrived. We had booked an ocean front suite with the diamond club. Upon arrival, our room was not ready so they put us in a room that they said had a little debris outside! That was a shock, when we opened the curtains, there was a dumpster outside our room and the first floor balcony was taped off. As well, there was construction on the floor above us so we listened to jack hammers all afternoon. We got our new room the following day at 4 even though it was promised to us at noon. Regarding the diamond club, what a waste of money. We got preferred checkin, bathrobes/slippers in our room but that was all from the lengthy list that is advertised. The resort in general is run down. Our room was not cleaned very well daily especially the bathroom. There were a lot of stains on the carpet. The pool was dirty and did not look to be leaned daily. Pool chair cushions on the beach in the diamond club were torn. The food was generally good but the buffet needs new chairs and cushions. We could not find one cushion that was not dirty and stained. Personnel were friendly the first day, but after that they seemed to be inconvenienced if asked for something. Seldom did they say hello in passing. Overall, we were very disappointed in our trip as it was not cheap. This is definitely one resort we WILL NOT return to in e future nor recommend to family and friends. Considering it is part of the Sunwing family, we had much higher expectations.

Overall, we got what we paid for. The food improved as the week went on, the beach was great, the service was not the best. The most annoying thing about this resort was the harassment from the Diamond Club people, it never ended and was extremely annoying!

Loved it. Had an amazing holiday here. Some minor issues that shouldn't bother you if you are aware of them. Room comfortable but bathroom very small, no fan and no space for toiletries (use shelves/mirror beside closet). Service sometimes a little slow in buffet and beach restaurants (make sure you 'Wait to be seated' and they'll get to you faster. Pros: Beach- great, lots of chairs, nice white sand, could walk for miles in either direction, and water very clear. Food- lots to choose from, food was good at buffet and great at a la cartes. Drinks- Excellent and not watered down. Staff- everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. Location- great location across from Lucayan Market and 3 min. walk to Unexso Dive Shop (great diving and shark dive was over the top fantastic). Entertainment - lots to do everyday, good nightly shows. All in all, we loved Grand Bahamas, found the people very friendly and always felt safe, on and off the resort. We had a great time and are already planning to go back to Memories Grand Bahamas.

The hotel is need a facelift but it's clean, the staff are friendly enough, food was delicious, close to markets pubs and other amenities off the resort. Bathrooms are a bit small but as I said clean. Only complaint is the ice machine is on the 3rd floor, pain in the butt when you're on the first floor!

This was our second time going to Memories Grand Bahamas. We had a fantastic time. The food was great. Staff is always eager to please.Grounds are beautiful. Only complaint is that you can never find silverware out side at the buffet restaurant.

What can I say, everything was just great!!!!!!!!! The people, the food, the room, the hotel, the grounds and beach, the service, the entertainment, great drinks, great weather. Thanks for a great vacation.

Awesome vacation! The beach was beautiful, service was great, rooms were clean and close to the beach and food was delicious. The steak house was especially good!! We will definitely be returning to this resort again!

The room was very nice and clean. Service was good. The food was good in the buffet and the speciality restaurants were wonderful. The pool with the swim up bar was nice. The beach and water where excellent for relaxing and taking a dip.

We just returned from a week at Memories and I must admit I was a little worried after seeing previous reviews. We had absolutely nothing to worry about!!! The rooms were clean, food was good, and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We approached everyone we met with a smile and a good morning/afternoon, and were always greeted with the same back. If you gave respect, you received respect.

Just came back after an incredible week with family of 11 at this great resort. Resort itself could use some updates (hallways, elevators, lounge) however, the staff, food, and lovely grounds made up for it. We were entertained daily with games, aerobics, dancing (Mamma B, GG, Mini, Josue and AJ are to name a few) Everyone very friendly and go out of their way to please. At the Pool bar is Christopher who is a real hoot. Our maid Julie deserves a mention as she made sure our room was spotless daily and always a fresh supply of towels. Steak House and Japanese restaurants are well worth visiting, fabulous food and great presentation, particularly at the Japanese. Never tried the Italian so cannot comment. Seafood Night at the buffet is incredible, although we don't eat seafood there was plenty of other choices and the chocolate fountain, fresh fruit and candy apples were a lovely finish. Don't waste your time going into Freeport, market across street way better. All in all a fabulous week with family and new friends. Definitely a family resort.

The hotel approaching it is not attractive, but the people that works there is very nice. There are not enough shade on the beach. People are waking up 4am in the morning to put their towel on the chair on the beach and on the pool, and when other people wake up there is none for them. The same family have chair on the pool and on the beach for the whole day when they cannot be in two places at the same time, what a shame. They need to serve more of their native fruits, not Canadian or American fruits, I go there for everything native. The choice of material use for the chairs in the restaurant is very poor, the chairs are very dirty, and makes me not want to touch it. They are very disorganized when you arrive at the hotel, they make you fill out a form with many tired people waiting behind you after a long flight. For a person like myself, there were not much option, for food, I cannot have milk, salt, wheat, and sugar, white rice and potatoes but the food options was good. Every thing is over priced, I love the beach, and the people most of all, if I go back is for the people and the beach.

Overall, it was a great vacation! The rooms were clean and beds, linens and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping stocks your mini bar with free beer, soft drinks and bottles of water several times per day. The sand, ocean and beaches are wonderful. There are 3 separate pools. Plenty of fun, music and activities around the main pool, with the swim up bar. The other pools gave children an opportunity to play and swim, and of course adults can take a dip to cool off from the beautiful warm sun. We didn't use the kids water park, but it looked like a great place for young children to spend the day. All inclusive food and drinks are the best way to go on vacation. The choices of food and drinks are fantastic. There was a coffee shop which served coffee from 8am - 9pm daily. They also had fresh baked goods, including cupcakes, donuts and muffins. They even had mini sandwiches to take the edge off from hunger, after a day at the beach. There was always a restaurant open on the premises where you could get food and several bars to get drinks including soft drinks and juices for the kids. The buffet served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good variety and choices which will keep even your picky eaters happy. There was a snack bar, 11am - 2am which was very convenient and allowed you to satisfy the cravings throughout the day. The Italian restaurant served decent food. The Steakhouse was fantastic. The Sushi restaurant was good too. I If you didn't feel like leaving the beach chair or pool and getting dressed, they had employees grilling up BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs between noon and 3pm, every day. The only bad thing was the service. The workers/employees were not friendly. You just have to accept the fact that you might not get served a coffee at breakfast or a drink with your lunch. And you have to line up to get seated at the restaurant to eat. I am not sure why the employees were unhappy or seemed disinterested in serving. I didn't let them bother me! I was happy to be in on vacation and I wasn't going to let them stop me from enjoying the week.

This was our second stay here, and this time it was for our honeymoon. The resort is nice, the rooms are a little dated but you don't spend a lot of time in them so who cares? The people are wonderful and friendly and the beach is beautiful. The food is also great. Whatever you do, upgrade to diamond club to have a more pleasant experience. CONS: we requested a king bed ahead of time (keep in mind this is our honeymoon) and got a reply email that they would try to accommodate that, and that we would get a honeymoon package consisting of a couples massage, a private dinner for two and champagne. None of this happened, or was even spoken of and we received two double beds. We emailed our contact while we were at the resort and never received an answer. The waitstaff can run hot and cold. Either they are attentive and friendly, or completely ignore you to the point you are scrounging around for your own utensils and water/coffee. Also, they closed our favourite bar, closest to the far end behind the Italian restaurant. Last year it was an oasis to hang out at during the day, away from the noisy pool with a beautiful view of the ocean. Now it is only open to the restaurant patrons at night. It was only made worse by the 'social' bar now being too crowded and frequently running out of various liquors. Would we go back? I think we would try another resort, love the bahamas but we do not love the resort. It is a decently priced entry to the bahamas but time to move on to better things.

This resort is in a great location! We enjoyed the beach and food especially the Italian restaurant which is located on the beach. The rooms are clean but make sure you upgrade to get a balcony. Improvements are needed to better umbrellas at the beach and towels provided daily in the rooms. The Prop bar is also a great place to hang out. Congrats to the entertainment team who work very hard!

Although it wasn't our first trip, it is our first review ever. We decided to go to Bahamas to celebrate our anniversary. The resort is small and not very "green". Beach is nice, but it was very crowded (the end of April, beginning of May). It was very hard to get a space even in the early morning. There is just few umbrellas, so the shaded space is limited. The pool area was crowded too. It was impossible to get launcher at 10 am. When we try to reserve it with towels (including our own - different color), they where stolen two times. It never happened in any other resort. It is very hard to get a place in the shade, not many palms. There is a lot of activities around the pool area including, yoga, palates classes, loud music and instructor's voice. There was few annoying things like the sales representatives walking around with potential diamond club member ship buyers, fully clothed people from the cruises wondering around, waiting for their rooms to be ready. Apparently there is ongoing renovation. One night just 3 minutes to midnight all of a sudden we heard a loud noise. It turned out there was worker cutting tiles in the hall and sparks were flying. It lasted for about 30 minutes. Food in general is not too bad. The unusual thing was that although there was a lot of tables available, we always had to wait to be sited and we had to give our room number. The positive side is that the staff is very friendly and professional. That was our third experience with Memories resort, but it was the worst. Unfortunately it was also the most expensive one.

This resort was awesome! We stayed 1 week from May 8 to 15. The resort is small but this is very convenient if you have child travelling with you. The food, drinks and beach were great. The steakhouse is amazing!!! We never had any problems with the staff, they were friendly and they always played and talked to our 16 month old. Kids play area was great. The down sides to the resort is that the rooms need an update and the bathrooms are small but the beds were wonderful. I would go back to this resort for sure. The biggest thing for us was that we had no problems travelling with a baby to this resort.

Grounds a bit dirty and service was slow but people were amazing and food was excellent !! Great beach, great location shopping withing walking distance. Rooms were small but very clean and the drinks were good.

The drinks were plentiful, food was excellent, selection amazing, especially at the buffet and the steakhouse. Attitude of staff varied from exceptionally attentive, to, not really bothered about helping you. I also felt that some did not respect the customer, which was not a pleasant feeling. Rooms are comfortable, but the bathrooms are small and some general TLC is required, but it was not bad enough that it spoilt the trip. Beach is not huge, so you are situated very close to other people, pool water is not heated, so that can be a bit chilly, sea is warmer.

This was a fantastic resort - the staff were very friendly and wanted to help you whenever needed, the resort was clean, the restaurants/cafe etc had great food, there were nice activities, no bugs, safe, and family-friendly.

The resort property was wonderfully laid out.Very close to the ocean and pools. Lots of areas for relaxing although a few more umbrellas for shade on the beach would have been appreciated.We found the staff very helpful and friendly!!

Unfortunately the staff at the main desk screwed up everyone's room in our party, and apparently didn't understand their own computer system. The attitude of some employees could have been better and more hospitable. The hotel could do a better job of having the Umbrellas in good working condition, most of them were broken and did not get attended too despite several requests. The food was good, the à la carte restaurants were very good! Bonus of having a casino on the resort. Overall a good trip with family, with unfortunately a few frustrating days early on with the room screw ups.

We stayed here from May 8-15 and from flight to checking to room to restaurants to pool to beach- we have NO complaints. Everything was clean, the weather was fantastic, staff was friendly, and any issue we had was taken care of immediately. We traveled with two other couples and one had an air conditioner problem that was fixed before they went back to their room that day. We didn't have towels in our room when we arrived - we asked maid and towels were brought to our room that evening.

Surprised to find carpets in room should upgrade to ceramic tiles. The food was great & loved the little coffee shop! Staff was friendly! Paid for an ocean view ...disappointed ...could only see a little bit!

Overall, the resort and location was beautiful, safe and friendly staff. The beach and pool was great but their could have been more towels, chairs and umbrellas. The hotel could improve on their organizational skills for checking into the hotel as well as refreshing the towels. The food was fantastic and totally made our trip more enjoyable. Would definitely go back to the Bahamas!

The resort is very nice...not overly big so it is easy to get around...no more than a 5 minute walk from lobby to beach which is nice...everything is close. Our room was very nice with super comfy beds...food is really good (could be hotter in buffet but a good variety) but the steak house, Japenese, etc. were to die for..the drinks are all really good. The resort has a place called the Bean Café with delicious ice cream , donuts, muffins, lattes, expressos, etc. The beach is very nice ...you can walk for miles on nice, soft sand. Across the street is the Lucyan Market with markets, bars, restaurants, waterfront, etc...very nice and there is a Casino on the resort for those who like to gamble. There was a lack of umbrellas on the beach but some were on their way...I would definitely go back.

Had a great time at Memories Grand Bahama. Loved the steakhouse, the cleanliness, friendly staff and overall safety while on vacation. My only "cons" were the beach seems cramped and I never seemed to have towels put in my room. Other than that, great vacation!

This trip was beautful I really enjoyed myself great service from everyone. Especially the maid that cleaned my room she was fabulous. I plan on returning one day with my son next time. Thank you for making my stay as wonderful and beautful as it could be.

This was our 1st time to the Bahamas, overall it was a great week.. Hotel was short on towels everyday but all you had to do was ask and you received... The food was excellent, even better then any place we have stayed in Mexico. There was lots to do, Casino, marketplace, Pro club was fun.... I would have stayed longer if I could have... Also every trip we have taken has been booked through Trip Central and the service has been the best!!!!

Everyone was very friendly, food was great and the drinks were cold. They had activities all day and night long. The rooms were clean and same as the over all resort. The flight from Toronto to Freeport was quick and didn't waste anytime (made it there and back way faster then expected)

The hotel and the grounds we're beautiful ! The food was fabulous and the entertainers we're awesome ! The hotel staff could use some training in Customer Service to better resolve issues that came up during our stay, such as dirty rooms, improper rooms (suppose to be a king but double beds instead, etc) no hand towels, facecloths and towels for bathing, stocking the mini fridge, providing guests with prompt service when need be, etc... The beach could use more chairs and umbrellas (functionning umbrellas not broken ones) There seemed to be a reoccuring theme of " we dont have any" in regards to water bottles, pop, towels for the room, towels for the pool, straws, clean sheets, etc..

Good resort, nice rooms, all in all a good trip for the price in Bahamas. Good food as well however more variety or selection would be nice. Great staff, very friendly! Lots of excursions available however not needed with all the sea life right at the beach on the resort!

The room I had was really nice. The room was always done by 2pm. Getting clean towels was never an issue. The staff at the buffet and the diamond club staff at the beach were really very nice. If you can, you should go with diamond club the chairs have nice cushions and we also had a cabana that we could have a little nap after lunch. The diamond club offers drinks and a lunch menu delivered to your chair. The beach was very nice as well.

The food was AWESOME, the staff were GREAT, very polite and respectful. The beach and Ocean were FANTASTIC....There was an issue with towels, hand towels and facecloths for the rooms, very limited access.

This was a good resort. It is still a fairly new one. Entertainment could be better. Food fantastic so many choices. Bar services great. Ocean fantastic. It could have more daily activities like drinking games in the pool.

The food and people are what makes the resort! Had a memorable trip. All good except that they need to invest in more sun shades, and the entertainment is not up to par with other resorts. Otherwise we had a great trip with lots of time spent at the beach.

rooms were clean ,food was very good ,staff was very friendly . My only complaint was the lack of washcloths and hand towels.Had a good experience with the a la cartes as the food was delicious. Good family resort.

The Bahamas was a very relaxing vacation. The hotel was clean. The rooms are small and it is an older hotel. The beach and water were great. We went to the local restaurants often. I would go to the Bahamas again but would look into a hotel that was not all inclusive as leaving the resort was awesome. The drivers are courteous and seem to watch for pedestrians

My husband and I just spent a week at the Memories Resort in the Bahamas - April 5-12. The trip overall was amazing, we had such a great time. The resort itself is a work in progress, so keep that in mind. Check-in was pretty crazy, though they really did try. It was organized well, yet a lot of the rooms weren't ready. Overbooking or understaffed? Our room was not ready at 3pm. We had to wait until 345. A lot of other people had the same problem. Definitely something they need to work on. Towels are a big problem here. We didn't change out our towels everyday so it wasn't bad for us. When we did switch them out, we didn't get replacement towels. This was solved by calling down to the front desk. They had them at our door within 15 min. A friend we met on the resort actually had to use toilet paper to dry off!! hahahaha we laughed so hard at this but honestly, this is an issue. This couple had no towels all week. They were using their beach towels to shower and dry off. The room itself was kept well and clean. The fridge was restocked everyday. The bed was very firm. My husband had a hard time sleeping all week. That's just preference and what you're used to. The toilet is a little strange and you have to get used to how to flush it. Push it gently and only half way to get a whole flush. If you push it all the way down, it doesn't flush properly. The food at this resort was amazing. You have to try the Steak house and Japanese/sushi. The food was so delicious and the staff, overall feel and ambiance was great. Try the macaroni as a side at the Steak house! The Selections Buffet was awesome. Everything was excellent. You can't go wrong by choosing this for dinner. They had a Caribbean BBQ night on the beach and that was my favourite. The Prop Bar was another great restaurant. They're open 11-2am and even turn into a dance bar at night. It's a great environment with the best bar-tending staff at the resort. The Italian restaurant was a waste of time. It's exactly what they serve at the buffet. You have to wait an hour to sit, order and get food that isn't even as good as the buffet. My noodles were undercooked and the Alfredo sauce was like water with a touch of Alfredo. I would suggest skipping this restaurant. They should revamp this resto and make it something worth while. Eat Italian at the buffet and make it to your own liking. The pool bar staff were my least favorite. I'm not sure if it's a matter of them being unhappy working at that bar, they're under paid, or it's a personality thing. I mean, day in and day out, working at the pool bar which was literally non-stop all day, I can understand. But, everyday they seemed unhappy. Perhaps management should have some sort of rotation schedule to switch up the bartenders and where they serve. Working at the pool bar everyday has to be tough. It's the liveliest place during the day at the resort; the bar staff should have the personality to match and keep up. The Social Bar was open from 12pm all day/night. The staff were kind, but mostly quiet. Andre was my favorite. Very nice guy with great energy. They actually have real Caesars here with Clamato! That was a great surprise. Free wi-fi that works all over the resort and on the beach. Amazing. Everyone in the entertainment staff was great! Mama B (I think that was her name) was my favorite. They are all so full of energy and make everything 10x more fun! The three guys (I never got their names) were so funny and awesome to be around. They would make great bartenders!!! One had short braided hair, the other was Latin and was an amazing dancer and the last was tall and slim and great at getting a crowd going. Look out for these great staff members. They are the ones I took notice of and saved their names in my phone: Tanille at the steak house - excellent server who dealt with us in a group of 8. She was attentive, outgoing and very friendly. We tipped her 27 bucks. Lavardo at the Prop Shop. Very nice and kind guy. Great server. Perron at Selections Buffet Andre at Social Bar. Awesome guy! Tracy at Italian - even though the food wasn't good, she was a great server. Nathan for breakfast Selections buffet. One of my favorite servers. He's so sweet and kind! Daniel at the Prop Shop - hands down the best bartender on the resort. The other staff could really learn from him. The pool was great. Make sure you get up early and reserve your lounge chair with your towel and personal belongings. One thing I can't stand is how guests will put their towel on a chair in the morning and not show up until 2-3pm. That's a full day of someone else having to sit on the ground because of their selfishness. I wish there were lounge chair police! Even as grown adults, people are incapable of being smart and considerate when putting their items on a chair they don't plan on using. The beach is so beautiful. It reminded us of Cuba. Same as the pool, reserve your chairs early and if you want an umbrella, 5-6am will get you one. Any later than that, the chances are very low. This resort is family-friendly. There were a lot of babies, young children and teens. They had kids activities everyday. Spider man and Ironman showed up on the Saturday. That was so awesome! There is a market directly across from the resort. We went there many times throughout the week. The people who work here are so friendly and were not pushy at all. If you have been to Cuba, you can understand how bad that can actually get. This place, it's comfortable, clean and everyone is so kind. They have a few banks too. RBC, Scotia bank and a few others. Lots of high end and souvenir shops. They even have a Subway, Pizza Hut, Dominos. I've never seen these while travelling (I haven't been to Mexico) so that was neat. One thing I noticed is there were no stray dogs or cats. I've seen them everywhere I've been except here. They are either very good at keeping the population under control or they don't allow them in the tourist area. Overall, I would recommend this resort. Keep an open mind and remember, the good outweighs the bad! Stayed April 2015, travelled as a couple

It was a very beautiful resort. We have never been to the Bahamas. I would totally recommend going if you haven't. We have been to Mexico numerous times and we have been to Cuba. It is very different. We found it shopping for trinkets evpensive, the beaches not as clean or maintained. Service slow and layed back as in comparison. We found the food very good, the people beautiful inside and out. Rooms decent, as well as atmosphere in the restraunts. I was asked if I would go back...my answer is definitely! I still think the Mayan Riveria is still my favorite.

I prefer smaller sized resorts...so I LOVED IT. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. You have to try the steakhouse and the sushi. We always had amazing service at the prop club! No complaints

Really great resort, rooms clean, well kept grounds, great fitness equipment, food to die for, great great great kids camp!!!! The staff went above and beyond to please my child during super hero week. Just magical!!!

The grounds are beautiful, the staff are mostly quite friendly, and the food is pretty good, but there are some glitches that this newer resort needs to work on. My in-laws plunge pool never worked, we didn't always recieve towels in our room, and our group either didn't receive a hair dryer or it was taken at some point during the week, just to name a few small complaints.

My wife were there mar.27 to apr. 3, and had a ball. We are seniors and have been to many other all inclusives and this is our favorite and cannot wait to return. Being a new resort destination from Vancouver , Looking forward to going next year. Don`t know why so many negative comments. Food great . Staff great. They want you to come back. The staff work very hard and long hours which are really inspiring and hope they will be rewarded for their efforts. New owners Memories keep up the improvements and people will come back. We will next year.

Very nice resort! Food was great and room was very clean. Missed a balcony or at least be able to open a window. Beach was beautiful! Resort should have more man made shade to get out of sun. The umbrellas are not enough. Bahama nite was fun! Japanese was good and the Steakhouse was excellent! They should take reservations for Steakhouse like the Japanese. The wait is too long, we had to wait over 2 hours for dinner seating. Did not like eating at 9:30 pm. Overall, a nice resort!

This hotel is perfect for families. Beach is very nice and safe for children. Food at the buffet is okay, not a big variety but à la carte restaurants are great. Hotel rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The service at the bars is poor though - very slow and bar staff do not smile much.

Beach, food, staff were all great. Buffet was a pleasant surprise with who E cooked turkey, ham, pork, and salads. Loved the pasta and salad bars. Seafood night with all you can eat lobster was to die for. Ate at the Steak House twice and the Japanese restaurant once. Both were great. Did not try the Italian restaurant. Beautiful view from room which compensated for the small bathroom. Only issue was towels on beach and in room. Need to improve availability.

The resort was simply beautiful and had very friendly resort staffs as they were able to assist us whenever possible. The hotel room was well cleaned everyday. Me and my sister went parasailing and the view was breathtaking. The only thing that stopped me from giving five stars was the food. It was average and sometimes way too salty or undercooked. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the chefs that cook the food fresh in front of you. Overall, it was an amazing experience and would recommend to anyone travelling as a family.

I have now travelled to more than 35 all-inclusive resorts and Memories Grand Bahamas ranks in the top 10. I am not usually a buffet eater due to the usual lack of taste and flavor, but the buffet proved to be more than adequate. While there were only 3 a la carte restaurants, the food, it's flavour, the presentation and the service were beyond my expectations. Even the food in the snack bar (Prop Club) was varied and well-prepared. The rooms are adequate, but not luxurious. The beach was great and the pool adequately spacious and well-maintained. My only criticism was the lack of quality entertainment in the evenings. The Bahamian people were friendly and extremely hospitable. All of the staff were pleasant and accommodating, but a special mention is due to Fredericka (Freddy) at the Prop Club, Timothy (Tiny Tim) and Sonny, both at the H Steak House and Danae at Guest Services for their excellent service. I would recommend this resort, but suggest strongly that the resort improve its evening entertainment. Overall, it truly earns its name-Memories!

The resort is very clean and well kept. The rooms and bathrooms are a little small. The food is great, especially at the steakhouse and the Prop Club. Thursday is seafood day at the buffet so bring your appetite. Friday is Chinese food and it's wonderful. The beach is beautiful but there isn't much shade. They have a few umbrellas, but if you're not there first thing in the morning forget about getting one. The beach is raked every morning. The service is a little slow, but you're on holidays so what's the rush. All in all a great resort.

Right from the beginning we were treated with unbelievable service as a diamond club member. They arranged all of our excursions and were always very friendly. We stopped in both at the beach and hotel diamond club area daily very good service. We had one issue with a reservation and this was taken care of with their apologies which was not asked for. We would recommend this resort to anyone, the diamond club upgrade was well worth the extra money.

I am not sure why this resort has negative reviews. The only thing not 5 star was the entertainment. Spotless resort and rooms.the food was the best we had ever had at an all inclusive and the beach was amazing.

Beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear water. We were able to take the Hobie Cat out 5 times during our stay. Lots of wind most days which is perfect for a sail. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bartenders make a wide variety of drinks to be enjoyed by all. Prop Club plays some really great music and there was lots of singing and dancing. We did not travel with children, but we observed the staff interacting with the children, taking them for lunch and spending the day with them and they were excellent. Things that could be improved: Long waits for cutlery and water/tea/coffee to be delivered in the buffet dining area. It is much quicker just to go to the staff station and grab the cutlery yourself. Hot tub was quite cool (same temperature as pool).

I had an amazing trip the resort was clean food was all delicious I don't think I ate anything that I did not like. The lines can get a bit long outside at the restaurants but a little observation and planning that can be avoided as well. The golf was fun and course was ok but being from Canada it was nice to just play. If going to the course bring ur own golf balls! I did and thank gosh cause they are 15$ for 3. Although u may find a guy on the course for 6$ a dozen if ur lucky !! Overall we just had a great time and the guests and staff were all so friemdly. We made several friends while there

Overall great place, need to change the approach of the entertainment crew, quite inappropriate. Great beach, great sand, beautiful ocean for swimming in. Good excursions, safe place, great food, friendly, helpful staff.

this is a very nice Hotel , clean and modern. The food here is so good!! the Steak house and Japenese!! Sushi!! try them all. nice pool, great beach, most friendly people I ve ever stayed with ! We'll be back next year with a group of us.

Modern room but very sm bathroom. i missed not having a balcony, you must upgrade at booking time. Public washrooms on the property were always clean and stocked. Nice to have a coffee/tea shop for a sweet & beverage between meals at The Bean. Buffet food excellent, steak house(line up for seatings) excellent, japanese(food cooked on hibachi in front of table for 8) excellent & Italian mediocre. Interesting bar next door at Imries...Bahamian music. Almost non existent poolside& beach drink service, but multiple bars where u wait to be served. Table service in buffet was mediocre. Beach was tightly packed with uncomfortable lounge chairs...no privacy! Diamond club got reserved area with lounging beds and lounge chairs...but still tightly packed. Temp 70-75F and sunny...perfect in sun but cool in shade at times. Short ride to airport, sm airport with limited services when flight was 3 hrs late! Parasailing in front of hotel $. Day & nightly entertainment was poor and disappointing. Resort lacks the feel of traditional Carribean...would like more Bahamian music! Wedding setup was nice but not private at all! Dangerous step in lobby between 2 marble floors causing falls and injuries. Children had separate play area but water slide closed. Lots of loungers around pools, no problem getting one.The staff were superficially friendly but didn't go at all beyond that...not like in Cuba! We never got the feel that they wanted us back. Only at the time-share booth! Beware of those friendly faces. Rented a care and toured the island for a day...$168 for van for 6. Parasailed in front of resort. No guided tours$$$$. Cold, cold water in swimming pools. Neat grounds. Not too far to walk to everything around the grounds. Walked the beautiful beach.

The scenery was beautiful. The hospitality lacked, sort if felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. Not the all inclusive; extra water, pop or other beverages are impossible... Unless you pay for it. Pools are not heated or warmed. A LA carte restaurants were great! Good service, great food. Buffet was OK.

The room cleaning crews are exceptional . Everything was very clean . The food was great . BUT , we would not return unless the pools were heated . They were un-useable. ( any colder and they will need to rent skates )

Hotel is old! Rooms are good, nothing fancy. Even the upgraded rooms are not nicer, just bigger. Buffet is not great. Restaurants are great! Service is not good. Not a single server on beach or poolside. Always walk to bar.

I took my daughter to Memories Grand Bahama resort for five days to have a mother and daughter quality time last December for five days and we had a great time there as the resort was in a perfect area!

We were disappointed with some aspects of our stay at this hotel. Upon our mid morning arrival, we were told we would not have access to our rooms until 3:00 p.m. We were advised to select comfortable clothing from our suitcases and change in the washroom and return to the front desk in 4 hours to pick up our room keys. After being up since 1 a.m. the last thing we wanted to hear was that we could not gain access to our rooms until 3:00. This was the case for everyone arriving from Ottawa. Not a good way to start your trip. The island view room that we paid for was the top of the hotel roof. We tried to get our room changed but the hotel was not willing to move us. We had trouble with our coffee maker which did not work at all. After 2 failed attempts to get it replaced, we gave up. We had an electrical outlet sticking out of the wall which was repaired right away by the hotel. We had issues with the toilets not flushing properly. They were water saving toilets which we had to flush multiple times just to flush toilet paper. On the positive side, the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean and the food was very good.

Very clean resort. Closer to shopping. Pools were great never had problem with pool chairs or towels. Always enough. Staff were amazing they were very helpful with any demand. The food was not as great and the check in process needs some changes. You can't let people arrival at 10am and get stranded in the lobby until 3pm. Some of us wanted to go our rooms and have a nap after getting up so early fit the flight.

Our room was disgusting. One word. Carpet. The minute we walked in our room the carpet smelled, was damp and just looked old. The bathroom was so tiny. It took 3 flushes to get everything down and smelled of urine in the entire bathroom. The shower was hot! But the shower itself looked gross and not clean. As for the resort itself outside the room was overall nice, food was good, steakhouse was amazing. I would not go back though.

This resort has it all; great food, friendly staff, comfortable beds and the best beach in Freeport. The vacationers were almost all from Canada - which made the stay friendly and relaxed. The activities were fun and inclusive. Great value!

Food and service was great especially Suny at the steak house Special acknowledgement to VJ who handled the beach activities Not sure of his name but the bar tender at the central bar was really good. Down side the pool was freezing!!!!

We stayed at the resort the week of November 22. I was pleasantly surprised. We were greated with a signature drink and the check in process was quick. Our room was fantastic. There was a balcony with ocean view. The staff are very friendly. We had a lot if fun dancing at the bar every night. The beach was amazing, soft white sand and beautiful Caribbean ocean. Loved the steak house and the Japanese restaurants as lots of fun (heads up, they rush you out if the Japanese restaurant for the next service). Not a lot to see in freeport, if you are looking for beach and sun it's a great spot.

All in all it was a good week. Hotel, food, rooms all great service was fabulous everyone was very friendly. Downfall was the entertainment crew, they were rude, annoying and not very good at what they get paid to do.

The resort was very nice, the staff very helpful, friendly and kind. The food good. Entertainment needs improvement. One little problem was towel and wash cloths shortage. However those couple negatives would not prevent me from going back there because the positive made up for it. Loved it and will go back anytime.

The rooms and food were quite average but overall the stay was very good. Great staff, the beach was excellent, not much to complain about. We really enjoyed the location, lots of great shops across the street to shop at. Would definitely go back.

The hotel is a very nice resort. Alex the manager of the resort was fantastic to me, if you have any issues he's the guy to speak to. Nathan at the buffet was so polite. The restaurants where great. Oren is one of the workers and he goes out of his way to help you. Casino was so much fun.

Check in was chaotic. 1st room we were given had no patio/balcony or even a window that opened. Paid to upgrade to oceanview balcony. Resort is small compared to past vacations. Food was good. Repetitive, but always something. Tepanyaki was amazing. Drinks fantasic. Beach was the absolute best feature. Aways a chair shortage due to people "reserving". Very short ride to airport. Pool nice. Waterslide not functioning. Staff, absoutely the very best!!! Would return to area, but a different resort. Flying Fish restaurant near by is a MUST as is Tony Macaronis at Taino Beach!!!

Pros: beautiful beach, steakhouse and Italian restaurants were great, close to airport, proximity to casino was awesome Cons: rooms (especially the one without a balcony) were terrible, food at the buffet was bland (better than Cuba, though), sub-par entertainment except live band on Friday The hotel was okay, but definitely not 4.5 stars according to Sunwing website. I would go if I want a basic vacation - good bang for your buck, as long as you know you're not getting any extra frills.

If you can get past the first day things get better. Check-in was horrible! Arrived at 10:30 in the am and no room until 4:45 with no help to actually find your room. Here's the key -go. Our room was fine but friends had no toilet paper and towels even after multiple requests. Resaurants- main buffet Selections. Even though it is very cold inside stay there as service outside was little to none. Prepare to find your own cutlery, napkins and drinks. Food was OK. The Prop Club was great and very close to the beach. Strongly suggest The Japanese restaurant and the Steakhouse. Staff and food at the Steakhouse was 5 star plus. Staff were very friendly and the activities during the day were good. The night shows leave much to be desired. The resort grounds are kept very clean. The beach is great but good luck finding a chair. Even at low season there were not enough although the Diamond Club had many available but you can't use unless you upgraded to this club. We rented a car twice to explore and snorkel. Deadman's Reef was excellent as was the lunch we got at N & A's. Go there if you are in the area!

The hotel was nice with auto AC. Very clean, very well serviced. Had a room with balcony. Nice view, restaurants were amazing, a LA Carte, the food was delicious, service was excellent. Excellent vacation experience.

The grounds were well looked after, clean and pleasant as were all public areas. Initially we were put in a room with 2 beds vs. 1 king/queen on the 3rd floor. The view was of the roof of an adjoining building. Anyone could walk along the roof and step right onto our balcony. This was our 30th wedding anniversary and we certainly haven't graduated to 2 beds yet! On the 2nd day, we were moved to a room with 1 king bed on the main floor which meant we didn't have a balcony. Bathroom was very small with next to no counter space. Shower curtain was a bit dirty so the room had a musty/sour smell. Dining areas were fine, quite clean and buffet had a large variety of food. Biggest issue with food & beverages were that they kept running out of things so you could never count on getting what you wanted all the time. Also, there is a large, fun-looking water slide which was not open at all during out stay. Hotel entertainment/shows were not as good as other shows we've seen but generally they were fine. The beach was nice, beautiful sand and blue water. Could really have had more lounge chairs. I would recommend this resort to people who perhaps have not stayed in 4 or 5-star resorts and so were not expecting a 4 or 5-star resort.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was amazing. The grounds were well layed out and simply great. The only improvement the resort requires is better nightly entertainment. I understand that it is local but it requires better entertainment. ex. dancing, costumes, maybe impersonators even lip syncing. But over all great time, lots of dancing, sun, beach, great food, water sports, pool activities, casino with an 83% pay back and free booze. Restaurants were great. What could anyone ever want more than that.

We have been to many islands but this resort is on the top of our list. We were a group of 8 and everyone loved it! The beach is spectacular, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious in all the restaurants and the buffet. We loved having the casino right beside us and the market place across the street. The Prop Club provided great music for dancing as did the courtyard in the centre of the market. The rooms were clean and modern. The nightly entertainment was so-so but that's not something very important to me. With all the dancing available, who wants to sit and watch a show? We also went to 'fish fry' on Wednesday which was an absolute blast!! We will definitely consider going back to this amazing resort.
