Getting Around: The national airline for the Bahamas is Bahamasair which serves 19 airports on 12 Bahamian islands. To get around the city you can travel by car, taxi, and boat. Many travellers don’t need to a rent a car when visiting but if you wish to do some exploring of your own, keep note that in the Bahamas you drive on the left side of the road. If you plan on taking a taxi, carry cash with you as they don’t accept credit cards.
