Carnival Cruise Line will give your money back if you don’t like it.
The Carnival Great Vacation Guarantee will refund you 100% of your cruise fare and get you back to your home airport or port of embarkation for free if the cruise you’re on just isn’t for you.
How does it work?
All you have to do is notify the Guest Services Desk on the ship within 24 hours of leaving the port of embarkation that you are not happy with the experience and want to head home. The Guest Services team will get you off the ship as quickly as possible and fly you to your home airport or to the port of embarkation if you drove there. The ground transportation costs and any hotel costs (if necessary) are covered.
What does it apply to?
The guarantee applies to any 3-14 day Carnival Cruise Line vacation to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, Bermuda, Canada/New England, and Alaska. Due to some travel restrictions, it does not apply to cruises visiting Cuba. The guarantee applies to U.S. and Canadian residents only. It does not apply to itinerary changes due to weather, safety or other emergencies.
Is this for real?
Yes! The Carnival Great Vacation Guarantee is the first program of its kind offered by a cruise company. If the service or product doesn’t deliver, you can get your money back – no hassles. The refund will be processed in less than three weeks and applied to the form of payment used when the cruise was purchased.
If you may want to give Carnival another try in the future, they will even leave you with a $100 per stateroom onboard credit to be used within a year if you book another cruise.
Guests can book with confidence knowing they can change their mind within the first 24 hours of embarkation. With this peace of mind, Carnival is a great choice for first time cruisers.
