Travel agent, Jean Arseneau was invited to attend the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority from June 16 to 19. Here’s an overview of his trip.

We stayed at the Encore Wynn Las Vegas, a 5-star resort located at the end of the Strip. It features a casino, 2 nightclubs, 5 restaurants, 7 bars, pool, fitness centre, spa, a golf course, and a shopping promenade.

In Las Vegas, I got the chance to sample restaurants at the Flamingo Las Vegas and see Donny Osmond from the Donny and Marie show.

The Flamingo Hotel & Casino Restaurant. The venue of the Donnie and Marie show.

I had breakfast at the Hard Rock Café Hotel and the Havana Ball Room in Tropicana Las Vegas. Make sure to visit both for a delectable Las Vegas experience.

Jean Arseneau High Roller

The world’s largest observation wheel, High Roller.

For entertainment, I went to the MOB Museum on Fremont and zip lined on the main street. I also indulged in a couple of delicious cocktails at the Cosmopolitan’s famous Chandelier Bar. At night, I went on the new High Roller where I got to see Las Vegas in a new light. As the world’s biggest observation wheel, the 360 degree views it provided was truly awe-inspiring.

I loved every moment of my first visit to Las Vegas. You can bet it won’t be my last!

Note: There are new direct flights from Montreal to Vegas with Air Transat starting August 31. You can also purchase air and hotel with transfers from Transat Holidays, WestJet Vacations and Air Canada Vacations.
