Hyatt Vivid Cancun: Amazing
Dreams Sapphire is a great family friendly resort. There are so many activities for the young and old. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for a better stay. Although the beach had a lot of seaweed, the pools were great.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Excellent resort!
The Zilara is a beautiful hotel. The lobby is expansive and has many seating areas including the bar area. While it is not air conditioned there are many ceiling fans. .Reception is just off the main lobby and is air conditioned. The staff are outstanding and many remembered us from our three previous visits. Our room on the 3rd floor overlooked the beautiful pool and the sea. The beach is one of the best on the Riviera Maya.. There are several dining options including the buffet which is open for breakfast. The food at Lola Cafe and Capri grille was excellent and the wait staff were very good.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Perfect vacation
My husband and I stayed at the resort and had an incredible time! The resort was beautiful very clean and well maintained Our stay at Hyatt Zilara was overall a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The service truly stood out — the staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed everyday. We were greeted with champagne and a lovely smile upon arrival. Our favourite restaurants were the Italian (Alejandro) our server was the best, made every dinner extra special. The Mexican was our lunch spot and never disappointed food and service amazing. The drinks at every bar were delicious and the bartenders were always very attentive. Would definitely come back. Hyatt top notch

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Fantastic quality and value
This was our 2nd time and there will be a 3rd, top notch all around, food, service, cleanliness and the best value for a 5 star adults only resort. Not on the beach but the beach club has that Miami vibe that's a 5 minute shuttle ride away. The views are the best in Cancun and your 20 minutes from the airport. A refined and relaxing resort with great staff and diverse activities.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Would definitely go back
This hotel was well maintained and staffed with very friendly and helpful people. It was not a party hotel and provided for a laid back and relaxing time. The food was very good and the bars were well stocked. My only suggestions are these: they should have a map of the building posted here and there as navigating to and from the elevators was not simple at first. The Lola Beach should be fully accessible ( I have MS and use a walker and was not able to go in and finally , maybe more seating in the main foyer where there is a nice bar but not much seating. These were not make or break issues just a few things that could be improved upon. I would recommend this resort to friends and would happily go back myself.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Fun time
Rooms: clean and spacious Grounds: well kept, lots of chairs to tan in, no real rush to run down and save Entertainment: a flop. The resort shuts down early and the shows could use some work/ more creativity Staff: beyond friendly, fun activities in the day (drink class, sushi class, painting, bracelet making etc) Food: excellent, fast and friendly service- not overly pushy with the up sells (booze and add on foods) Beach club: out of this world. Fantastic food, atmosphere and beach. Tons of chairs. Beware of the “$200 off” scam- we upgraded to Vantage club hoping we would get vouchers like I often do when I upgrade with Hyatt- turns out they tried to rope us into a whole day timeshare scam. Skip the $200 vouchers- it’s not worth the 6-8 hour day off the resort and being harassed to invest. It’s also useful to note the resort was very empty- 1/2 of it isn’t open (being transitioned to residences) and the actual capacity of the other 50% of the resort was at best 60%.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Hotel Zilara Riviera Maya
Lawrence from Trip Central was fabulous and found us a lovely vacation package that met all our needs. This older but well kept hotel delivered exemplary customer service throughout the entire duration of our stay. Food was excellent, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Club service insured we had dinner reservations and a poolside chair ready for us every single day. The beach was cleaned constantly to minimize sea grass. It was a great, relaxing getaway that totally pampered us. Viva la Mexico!

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya
we had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Zilara. the room was clean and comfortable beds. We had an ocean view which overlooked the pool and the sea from our balcony. The beach was excellent and we took a walk with Fermin to a Cenote only 15 minutes away. we had really good breakfasts at El Comedor. All the service is great especially Miguel and Norma. there are 3 other restaurants Lola on the beach or at the restaurant with Mexican cuisine, the Asian restaurant was very good and Ricardo really took care of us. we had excellent service from everyone. I would give this place 5 stars it is smaller than some resorts but we prefer that it’s not a big loud resort. everything is close walking distance.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Fantastic Vacation
We loved this resort! The grounds were nice with a lot of coatis everywhere! The pool was nice and unlike other resorts the tiles on the pool deck were not slippery. The beach had the softest sand and barely any rocks in the water. The food was good, we enjoyed the Japnese the best(ate there 3x). The staff was awesome ,entertainment team Fermin,Sandi and Hector, waitress at the pool Bianca. We are hoping to come back here again.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Beautiful & Perfect Couples Spot!
My husband & I had our honeymoon at this resort and I have zero complaints! The resort and beach club itself were absolutely beautiful and the service from staff was amazing! We did try all the different restaurants (other than buffet - we are not buffet people) and all the food we had was 5 stars! We spent almost the whole week at the beach, and don’t let the idea of the beach shuttle scare you because we never waited more than maybe 3 minutes total! And it was less than 5 minutes drive! We will definitely be returning!

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Nice place but wish we had known before booking
We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Zilara, but people should be aware of a couple things before picking a room. We booked a "tropical" swim up room, when we arrived we were informed that there was construction directly beside the hotel, knowing we would not be happy with construction noise all day, we attempted to change rooms rather than try it and then change, we were informed there were no other rooms available, but to check in the morning to see if we we still wanted to change rooms. Sure enough 7am we were woken to the sound of pounding and truck traffic. We went to the check in and asked for a new room--with some hesitation they moved us to the other side of the hotel, same "tropical" swim up room. we get to the new room--our "tropical" view was a 2 foot wide hedge that stood maybe 4 feet high, beyond that was a service road and 2 feet from there was a huge green garbage dumpster. But that was not the worse part-- this side was extremely close to the neighboring resort, where we got to listen to pounding music all day from noon on till 5 --the music from the other resort could be heard better than from our own resort. We tried to change rooms again, but were informed there were no rooms available, we gave up and just took what we got. **NOTE** pool view had none of these problems--so if booking this hotel in the next year ( construction was just getting started ) if you don't like the sounds of construction or blaring noises--book a pool or ocean view room. The food and choices were limited for dinner --3 Asian style restaurants in 1 setting --Hibachi ( reservations) Sushi ( reservations ) and Chinese ala carte..as well as Italian ( no reservations) and a beach restaurant ( no reservations ) and of course a buffet, that was closed on both Saturday and Sunday nights due to low season..Wait--weren't we told the hotel did not have rooms implying a full hotel? food rating over all was about a 4..with the Asian restaurant being best The rooms were wonderful big and clean, the hotel was in great shape and the staff ( other than check in ) were amazing. The ocean close and the sand was clean--very little seaweed. Over all we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. Would return now knowing what rooms to book.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: A super resort.
This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at Zilara and from the moment we checked in through to our checkout, everything was excellent. The staff are universally very good. The wide open lobby opening to the bar is tastefully furnished, as are all of the rooms. We had an ocean view suite which overlooked all of the spacious pool area. The buffet is always open for breakfast and selected evenings. Lola cafe located outside the main building is open for lunch and dinner most days. The Grille is also open most days for dinner. Tempest, the Asian restaurant is in the lower level and has an hibachi and a sushi bar in addition to its menu. The food at all of the restaurants is very good. The expansive beach area has many palapas and chairs. Great effort is taken daily to keep the Sargassum under control.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: An outstanding vacation
Grounds are beautiful, neatly manicured and clean. Rooms were updated, well thought out and comfortable. We backed onto a quiet mangrove on the north side of the resort in a King room. The resort does not provide screens on the sliding door which they recommend be kept closed due to wildlife. A Nespresso coffee machine a bar fridge filled with water, soft drinks, beer and snacks was a welcome addition. Got cream for the coffee from the coffee shop a couple of times. Food was generally very good to excellent but could vary from day to day. Bar service around the pool was excellent. We rented bala beds for three days. Service was very friendly and top notch. They make a real effort to make sure you are happy. Coffee shop and staff were excellent. Treats and sandwiches available there were tasty. Buffet usually featured a theme like Mexican, Italian, French etc. Food was generally tasty but inconsistent and staff friendly. Coffee was better at the coffee shop. I enjoyed the smoothies in the morning and the omelets were popular. We could always find plenty to eat. Only downside is that the meat quality was sometimes not up to the standards set by the rest of the resort. The resort has three elevators. One was down all week. Thankfully the one in our building worked as we were on the third floor. If you smoke, no smoking allowed on balconies but they have two small smoking areas, one at the front of the resort and another near the beach. Smokers were underwhelmed by the smoking areas. There was always several types of entertainment available during the daytime from aqua fitness to games, acrobats, pickleball, beach volleyball and a supervised trip to a cenote area, etc. The resort had a very good entertainment team. Drinks were above average but mixes tended to be sugary. Like in many resorts, real juice was often a struggle to get. Many top shelf brands available but Jägermeister was nowhere to be found. Snack bar on the beach had delicious options - the Zilara burger and fries were very tasty after the cenote walk.. Lolas beach front restaurant was pleasant and offered seafood with a Mexican flair. We had a late dinner at the Capri Grille (Italian) on the first night and everything was five star including presentation, food quality and taste. Interestingly, during our last night, the Capri Grille was subpar by contrast. The parmesan was missing from the previously delicious risotto and it was sitting in water. My New York Strip steak was undercooked to my medium well done ask and mainly fat. Only 20% was edible. I should have returned it for replacement or alternative The caprese salads were much larger and inconsistently cut so it seems the staffing in the kitchen was far less capable than the first night (vacation? holiday weekend?). Pool was clean but a tad cool (we did have some below average temperature nights) and the resort is on the best stretch of beach in the local area. Unfortunately, Sargassum arrived one month early this year which made ocean swimming hit and miss. They do however do a great job of keeping the beach clean. Loungers were always available as long as you didn't want to be on the edge of the pool and towels were usually neatly laid out in the morning so we fortunately didn't have to deal with towels or a towel card. A nice touch. The resort is adults only and is a quaint smaller size. We enjoyed our trip and would go back if we can get a similar off season deal. Otherwise, the resort is a bit on the expensive side. Apart from the freshly renovated rooms and infrastructure, the staff stands out for their friendliness, service orientation and attention to details. Every single interaction with staff was commendable, a feature which definitely sets the resort apart.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Beautiful, refreshing and excellent
The resort was very clean and beautiful. We availed of the vantage club option which provided access to the roof top pool, a private bar / snack area and the vantage club suites. Food was fantastic, we made reservations for each evening but also had success at walk ins when we were unsure of what we wanted that night. The quality of food was high and if portions were less than expected, you can always order more! The service was fantastic and prompt. Drink options and daytime snacking options were also great. Guadalupe and Jesus made the best team for ceviche and the taco truck. Overall, the resort was beautiful, lots of options for food, activities, and drinks. Highly recommend.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Incredible!
My husband, two friends and I just returned from 7 days at this resort. For my husband and I, it was our first time staying at an all inclusive resort, but our friends had been to multiple in the past, just to give some context! We had an incredible time and can't wait to go back! Pro's: - Rooms are stunning and very comfortable - Food in general was of excellent quality. Portions are small but you can just order more! - Beach is fantastic and is maintained better than any of the resorts around it. Water is warm and the swells were not too big when we were there - We loved the entertainment! Especially the silent disco, the "rock show", and the newlywed game. The entertainment team are hilarious and take time to remember you! - The pool and pool bar were so great. An excellent vibe, not too much of a party atmosphere but also not too quiet and boring. The pool was the perfect temperature. - Lots of loungers, we never struggled to find 4 together even later in the morning - Room service was awesome, they definitely read the "comments" and made sure you got what you wanted - The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and made you feel very much like you were a special guest. I also witnessed lots of laughing and banter between staff, and they were very strict on their shift ending times which makes me think they are treated very well, which was important to my group and part of the reason why I had never been to an all inclusive - The coffee shop was awesome and a really nice touch - The rooms were kept spotlessly clean by housekeeping - Check in was smooth and fast, as was check out Cons: - I am vegan, and although there were definitely more vegan options than I expected, there was still very little. Some restaurants had absolutely zero options. Most places did make me something special though. - There are technically only 4 restaurants for dinner, and they aren't all open at the same time. Over the busier weekend period, this meant we were waiting for a long time to eat. This was a bit of an issue for me, the vegan, as I couldn't just grab snacks from the coffee shop - You can not eat on your balcony at all. This is not the resorts fault, this is because you get absolutely surrounded by very brave large birds!! It's cool if you like wildlife, but somewhat unsettling! - Our friends were in room 406 and they had absolutely no view. As in, they were looking at a wall. Their room was also very noisy. Our room, 247, was great and actually had a view of the sea without paying the extra price! - The moment you check in, a very nice and not very pushy person (genuinely!) approaches you about going to "not a timeshare" presentation the next day, in exchange for lots of vouchers. We did not go, but we talked to someone who did and they said that the "not timeshare" was absolutely ridiculously expensive ($450k USD!!!) and they were kept for much longer than the 1.5hrs promised. - The liquor was definitely watered down. Even brand name did not look or taste the same which was unfortunate. The cocktails are good for the most part, but they don't live up to expectations due to the weak liquor. It definitely affects the taste. If you are someone who enjoys cocktail bars, these will be a let down. Overall, we had a fantastic time and it served exactly the purpose we wanted: it was relaxing and super fun, and we met really amazing people. The size of the resort was such a huge plus as it really felt personal. I will definitely be returning!

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Hyatt Ziva- One Week Stay
For the amount of money paid to stay at this resort, I would not recommend. Our room had mold around the sink and on the shower curtain. Room service did not show up regularly unless called. The food was average and themed night rarely had any food that was actually themed. However the staff was wonderful. They were polite and helpful and always had smiles on their face.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Pretty Good
Hotel room was nice, location very good, staff good and beach quite nice. Food was sub par for a 4 or 5 star hotel, especially at buffet and Italian restaurant. At the coffee shop the bakery food didn't taste very fresh at all. Better cookies at a Hampton Inn. Too many pool chair hogs as well. Staff should monitor that much better. All in all nice place but they could easily be better with better food choices and better beach chair monitoring.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Another wonderful time at the Hyatt Ziva!
Just back from 10 day vacation - the 2nd time at this resort. It has a great location - on the beach but can still walk into town. San Jose is such a cute little place with funky shops and some nice restaurants. The best part of this hotel is their staff. The staff are super nice and are always happy to help. Most of the rooms in the hotel have an ocean view. Although the ocean isn't really swimmable, its long and lovely to walk on. There's lots of pools with one specifically for kid's, a couple of family pools (although one isn't heated) and an adults pool which is where we spent most of our time. It was pretty busy when we arrived (just after New Years) so one had to get up early in order to save a chair. That lasted for about a week and then things got back to normal. The hotel could stand to do some updating on their rooms. Although comfortable and always clean, they are starting to get outdated. They have the best breakfast buffet of all of the resorts we've visited however, the rest of the meals were really just average (sometimes less), including the a la carte restaurants. Wouldn't have taken much for them to tweak the meals to make them more of a 5 star rating.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Treated Us Like Family
The hotel had splendid views to the ocean and the property was well maintained by staff. The food at the restaurants were of high quality and the alcoholic beverages were made with brand name liquor. The servers were attentive and pleasant, everyone at the resort was nice and welcoming. The staff treated us like family, and did not push us for tips. The pool closer to the ocean was heated, while the larger pool was rather cold, but there was enough space to swim around. We had our wedding at the resort and the planner went above and beyond in making it the best day for us. We had magical ceremony and romantic dinner on the beach. They treated us like royalty. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Wonderful Resort
This is an absolutely wonderful place to visit. So wonderful we have been twice. The staff is amazing. The pools are great and food is delicious. Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Average
The hotel was average in terms of amenities and food. I did not like the constant up-sell for liquor and $5 for coconuts is absurd. I would not return as I booked an Adult only resort and was disappointed that adults at the Ziva had access. The buffet dinners were oddly themed. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Viva the Ziva !!!
From entering the lobby to register to checking out and heading to the airport and home we have nothing but praise and raves for this resort. Checking in was smooth and seamless as was checking out. Our room was spacious and well appointed located where we requested which was an adult pool view. The grounds are expertly and well maintained. Your first view from the lobby over looking the main pool is amazing only surpassed by the view at night. The pools cater to the variety of clientele from families, to large, let's say "energetic" party seekers to those wanting a quieter environment. There are no problems with sun loungers or getting up at 6:30 to reserve your place with a towel. There is no swimming at the beach as the waves are dangerous to say the least but are mesmerizing to watch and listen to. The food at all restaurants and the buffet was excellent. There is no need for reservations anywhere except at the Asian and that's only if you want the Hibachi no need for reservations if you just want table service. Breakfast can be hectic and a people watching paradise.Any overflow is directed to the adjoining Mexican restaurant so we never had to wait for a table in the 10 days we were there. In fact, we didn't have to wait more that 5 minutes to be seated anywhere. There is no lobby bar by traditional definition probably because this is a 590 room resort that caters to families and a wide age group. The biggest selling point our view was the staff. Constantly smiling, courteous, helpful and very, very good at what they do. .

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Wonderful resort and stay!
From the time we got off the plane we were excited to get our honeymoon started which was perfect because the resort was only 10-15 min away from the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel was not great with an early check in, we arrived at 11 am and waited until 2 pm to get our room. However, we were able to visit the restaurants and use the resort facilities. We stayed in the renovated Junior Suite King Ocean View (fifth floor) building 4, unbelievable view! The room was a great size for 2 people, clean and cool I felt really comfortable. The stand up shower was on and off warm to hot and part of the bath showerhead wasn't working, once management was aware they were kind to send someone to fix. Only complaint about the room would be when we asked for our room to be cleaned around 9:30 am and returned multiple times to the room around 11 am, and 1 pm the room wasn't clean -happened one day. Also when ordering room service the staff on the phone wasn't the nicest. The resort was gorgeous! We stayed on the Zilara side, the bottom of the ocean was completely rocky- water shoes were a must. We spent everyday at the beach on the Ziva side, this was clear and soft sand however there were small patches of seaweed. On the Zilara side we used the main pool, this is where the main activities and entertainment were during the day- Kevon was great to get people involved and Kelly-Ann with her enthusiasm, very entertaining. It would be nice for the hotel to put more smaller cabanas that don't need to be rented- there were two on the adult side and mostly were taken up by a towel for majority of the day. Better regulations on when to use these would be helpful. We were able to use them twice during our stay- we didn't use it for an extremely long time (1-2h) then left to get food and give someone else a chance- its a nice way to cool off. There were a ton of fire pits all over the resort- this was very nice in the night to go and sit and relax after dinner. Food....amazing! So many a la carte restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner, we couldn't choose a favourite but the best lunch spot was calypso or visiting the Jerk hut. The Zilara side could use a better breakfast buffet. We went to ChoiceZ or Horizon for breakfast every morning- options were great here. Staff at these restaurants are extremely friendly and so kind. The night we went to Fuzion was extremely busy but it was a nice dinner experience with the live cooking. DiRoza- the Italian restaurant was okay, the best thing about the restaurant is the wood oven pizza and you can take out! Petit Paris was delicious from mains to dessert! Brazilian steak was nice for a change as well, however they need more variety. They had 7 meats and only 3 were not pork based (chicken, lamb, and steak). Fish or grilled shrimp would have been a nice touch...no lobster on site! The round the clock coffee bar/desserts at the hotel is a sweet touch, we went every morning however, the cappuccinos from the restaurants seemed to be better made. Keep in mind, to get fresh coconut water it is $5 USD a coconut- crazy expensive but delicious! Nightly entertainment was great when we arrived, lovely singing (right where you eat), fire and aqua shows, beach parties and more. However, towards the end of the stay we noticed that the entertainment went down (Wed/Thursday night) probably because the hotel was hosting many private events. We saw approx. 3 weddings happen when we stayed at the hyatt, looked beautiful however this meant that walking along the docks around sunset and near the beach was restricted. The crowd ranges from mid 30's to 50's and older, we were one of the younger couples (25-30) we didn't mind. Overall this was a great resort, we had a lovely time staff was kind and food was amazing. We would visit again:)

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Another pleasant stay at the Ziva!
We'd stayed here about 12 months prior to this stay and headed back as we knew we'd enjoy it again - Very good restaurants, with excellent service, which we found again was better than many other hotels that we've stayed at. We went with our 4 and 1 year old kids, and we know the kids pool is well located and warm water (some don't have heated pools), so we were happy to be back and enjoying the ground floor Ziva suite, where you have back entrance to the kids pol and front entrance to the beach and the main pools. The staff are always ver helpful and pleasant, and are excellent with the kids. The distance from the airport is also appealing - about 15 mins and the first drop off on the hotel route. The rooms are good, but not like some 5 star rooms we'd stayed at, but we're happy to let that slide with the amount you actually spend in them. We'd go back!

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Fantastic Resort - Can't wait to come back
Everything about this place is fantastic with one exception, the "towel game" is the resort's biggest problem. There is absolutely no problem that you get up early and leave your towel and a book to secure yourself a spot, however because there is no limit to towels people are securing both a spot at the pool and the beach leaving it limited for others. Positives: - No wristbands - No reservations required for restaurants - Vendors are respectful and don't bother you - Private beach - Resort is spotless - Staff are accommodating and extremely friendly - Food is amazing, best part of this resort is that there are a number of restaurants open throughout the day, including breakfast. You are not limited to the buffet - Close proximity to "old town" Puerto Vallarta Would I recommend: I most certainly did and my best friend will be celebrating her 40th Wedding Anniversary this May.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Wonderful Return Visit to an Excellent resort
The Hyatt Ziva is a wonderful property - stunningly beautiful grounds, two large pools, a protected beach area which is great for children, great food and excellent customer service. The food in particular is exceptional for an all-inclusive. The food choices at the Buffet ("Choicez") are excellent and staff are always willing to accommodate any dietary preferences. This is a very well-run resort. We have returned to this property five times over the past five years, which should indicate what we think of this resort. It is beautiful, and well worth the cost to stay there.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Great Resort
Hyatt Ziva is what you would expect from the Hyatt brand. Rooms where large, clean and lavish. Pools of all types where clean, warm and had space to lounge and swim in. Food excellent selection and taste. Overall a great place and great resort. Staff was also excellent and accommodated all needs. A few things to be aware of. The beach water sadly is un-swimable due to the current. Often a black flag is placed to denote fatal if you get in... yikes. This isn’t a fault of Hyatt, all resorts on that strip of beach are under the same restriction. Being a 5-star resort sadly didn’t offer any shuttles to the nearby towns. Taxi’s will do the trick but would expect some sort of bus service from Hyatt. Besides that would recommend to anyone looking for a easy place to relax and unwind.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Great resort, too quiet at night.
Beautiful hotel. Fantastic food. Spacious rooms. Too quiet in the evenings, better suited for families and older travellers. Firepits are awesome, should be left in later than 10pm. Beautiful pools, only one is heated... making a very small pool over crowded. Air Canada Vacations is terrible. Very disappointed in my agent from TripCentral.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Beautiful Resort
Overall a nice resort. Older section (building 2) is a little dated and had a musty smell. Newer section (building 3) has larger, more updated rooms. A la cart restaurants were good, with a nice variety. Beach grill was closed for lunch all week. Staff were very friendly. Upgraded to “club†but not worth the extra money. Enjoyed the heated pool. Overall, we would return.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Best resort!
This was our 3rd vacation with Hyatt Ziva. The experience did not disappoint us. The resort and its staff have brought us back 3 times in the past 6 years, and we are returning next year. There was nothing ....absolutely nothing to critique. From the time we entered the resort to the time we left we witnessed customer service at its best. In conversation with many staff, they are very happy working at Ziva. It’s nice to hear the management team are supportive and acknowledge their stay. This is what retention is all about. Retention of staff will continue to provide quality service, and will retain return visitors like us. See you next February! Kevon, Anthony, and Rayon ROCKED!

Can't say enough about this hotel. I have been to Cancun many times, and this was by far the best resort. Staff were so accommodating and attentive to our needs. 9 days was not enough to enjoy all the great food. Never had to wait for a table and the food was freshly prepared by skilled and professionally trained chefs. We tipped well, but it was never expected. 5 stars plus for Hyatt Ziva.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Awesome Resort
Just returned from the Zilara after 7 amazing days. I can't say enough about the resort starting with the Staff. I can honestly say I have never better staff at any of the resorts I have ever been to. They were all so nice, friendly and accommodating. They definitely aim to please and any way they can help you enjoy your stay, they do their best to. The pool was awesome and the daily entertainment was very interactive and fun. The Resort's entertainment staff were really great and did a great job getting the guests engaged. The food was great and there was plenty to choose from and several restaurants. The Hobi Cat boat rides were really nice and we were fortunate enough that the dolphins were right by our boat and were playfull so a bonus to see that. We also went out in the kayak which was fun. The rooms were nice and clean and we had a beautiful view overlooking the pool as well as the ocean. I would highly recommend the Zilara. It is also nice that Montego Bay airport is so close so you don't spend half your time travelling to and from.

This was our 8th return visit to the Hyatt Ziva in PVR. Our trip was book through Colleen at Trip Central and we did received everything that we asked for. If you are looking for a friendly and quite place to relax for say a week or two then the Hyatt Ziva is worth a try. If you wanna go wild and crazy and party till the sun comes up, then better look for another hotel. The Hyatt is an excellent place for children with lots for them to do, they even get to release baby turtles in the evenings. I think they had at least 1 if not 2 weddings everyday on the beach, complete with fireworks in the evening. Come 11pm all is quiet! Food was Excellent! Service was Excellent! We're going back in February of 2019! Hope to see you there! Thank You Trip Central!

We had an excellent vacation at the Hyatt Rose Zilara. The restaurants and in particular, Petit Pariz and Urban Heatz, were fantastic. The beach on the Zilara side had a bit too much seaweed, but there was a better combed beach just seconds away on the Ziva side. The service was impeccable, the room was very well appointed and we would certainly recommend this resort to our friends and family.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Five Pus Resort-Hyatt Zilara
The resort was within 20 minutes of the airport which was excellent- The bus guide was humorous and gave some interesting points of interest enroute! We were greeted with smiles and momosas to drink and were into our suite within an hour of arriving. The suite was beautiful and well appointed, the bed was very comfortable, the patio was large and had a love seat on it with a beautiful view of the ocean and the resort. The grounds were immaculate and very tropical with beautifully laid stone walk ways throughout the resort. The pools were absolutely beautiful and the higher level infinity pool having connecting channels to some of the swim out suites adding so much character. The beaches were very clean with different areas to swim in. The ocean water temperature was very warm. The life guard Dante at the ocean gazebo was very pleasant and helpful. The snorkling area was limited to seeing a few small fish by the gazebo in the shallow water. The small catamarans were alot of fun!! The customer service was friendly and efficient- top notch! The beach butler service was excellent frequently asking us if they could bring us drinks. There was always food available from poolside and beach side bars( pizzas, jerk chicken, burgers...) to the buffets and the a la cartes. We especially enjoyed the Italian and French restaurants! Unfortunately at the Asian (Japanese ) a la carte we felt extremely rushed and the dinner was very fragmented. We mentioned this to our server Nera at the Horizons restaurant at breakfast. We were contacted by the manager of the Asian restaurant that evening addressing our concerns and tried to rectify it.Our recommendation would be to have tables of four to allow for variable guest arrivals and food delivery. Additionally the work out facilities were top notch. We would highly recommend this resort to all others!!

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Beautiful resort on private beach.
Location, outside town is perfect for relaxing away from the hustle & bustle of tourists, but still close enough for easy access to down town by taxi. The trip takes only a few minutes and experiencing the local history and culture well worth the time. Taxi drivers are very friendly and helpful. We took the evening sunset cruise from the Marina, loved the sail and views if the coastline, especially the mountains, then watched the sun set on the water-just lovely! The resort is beautiful and well maintained, five restaurants to choose from with good food choices, two right on the water. All rooms face the ocean and offer beautiful sunset views. We loved being in the warm ocean and strolling the beautiful white sandy the beach. Wonderful attentive staff attend to all your needs. The adult only infinity pool was our choice for relaxing, but the two other pools were always lively for the fun loving active holidaymakers! We were treated twice to turtles laying their eggs on the beach. Overall a great vacation spot with lots of options to suit different personalities.

Hyatt Zilara Cancun: Great Resort but....
What was great: The hotel is beautiful. The staff were awesome - very welcoming and obviously trained in both hospitality and diplomacy. What was horrible: Food safety was brutal. We went to the buffet and staff were handling raw meat and cooked product and other items with the same tongs cross contaminating everything with the bloody tongs!! Not cool. I complained about this to a manager who agreed with me but no corrective action followed. Sigh. Additionally, the ice cream scoop well was turned off allowing bacteria to culture on the standing water. I turned on the small tap and the same manager I spoke to earlier turned the tap off!! Ugh This is just what I witnessed as a guest. Turned me right off eating there. I can only imagine what goes on in he kitchen. Yikes! The Unfortunate: The beach was all seaweed and not suitable for swimming. The Awesome: Large sea turtles can be witnessed at night laying eggs. The turtle tracks in the sand were beautiful too. The eggs are gathered and stored safely until they hatch. Unless the food safety standards are upgraded l would unfortunately, NOT recommend the Hyatt Zilara. Too bad, it really is lovely otherwise.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Outstanding Family Resort
One of the best resort experiences possible at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. A short twenty minute drive from the airport gets you to this beautiful resort. Ocean views are incredible. The footprint is not too big and is manageable even with little children. Modern design and beautiful facilities. Pools are incredible and huge. There is a kiddie pool that's perfect for small ones, and an adult only pool area that is an oasis of peace with its own bar and food venue. Nice big beach but ocean is too dangerous for swimming here. Food is outstanding at all the different venues. No reservations needed! Rooms are large and comfy. The Ziva suites get you proximity to the kiddie pool, two rooms, two baths and some have awesome views from the master bedroom. Service everywhere is outstanding and staff are incredibly professional. Absolutely recommend this one!

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Top Notch Resort (except for the beach)!
This was our first introduction to an all-inclusive resort. This was the honeymoon we never took 23 years ago. While there were a few hiccups along the way overall this was a fantastic vacation. We loved everything about this resort except the beach. There was lots of choice in terms of restaurants and type of dining you wanted. We loved the Choicez Buffet Restaurant (which we ate almost every day for breakfast and lunch). There was no waiting for someone to serve you and there was an incredible variety of foods to choose from. Something for everyone's taste buds! We tried almost every specialty restaurant. Each and everyone of them were delicious and service was for the most part excellent at all of them. Servers were kind and very professional. We had a swim up suite and it was unbelievable. We stayed in room 4108 and I do believe it was the best location in the Zilara Resort. We had direct sunlight from 6:30 am to 1:00 pm. So if you are a sun worshiper then this is the room to get. The room was also incredibly beautiful, cozy, clean and spacious. The fitness centers and programs we would classify as state of the art. Did a few spin classes too and the instructors were entertaining and classy. Great workouts!! We would say that the night life was a bit low key. Not a lot of entertainment but that's okay if you like a more quiet environment in the evenings. Pools were incredible so they did make up for the less then appealing beach experience. If you have a preference for a beach over a pool then this might not be the right place for you. The beach itself was stunning, but the bottom of the swimming areas were very rocky and unless you have water shoes, you risk getting nasty cuts on your feet. There was also a considerable amount of seaweed washing up into the swimming area. So not a great beach experience. Aside from that, this was an amazing resort. Very clean, good music, good eats, very kind and professional staff. If the beach was nicer I might consider a second visit. Price point.....a bit on the expensive side but worth doing once. We booked this vacation almost a year in advance. Not a reflection of the resort but when we originally booked our vacation package with Trip Central, it was based on the flight times (arriving mid-morning and departing mid morning). Shortly after booking, our flights were changed by exactly 12 hours later in the day on both sides of our vacation (the maximum time change an airline is permitted to make apparently). As a result, we lost a full day at a very expensive resort and in addition, ended up having to pay for an extra day (at $30 US per hour) as our check out time was 6 hours before our departure for the airport. When we called to inquire and express our disappointment in losing a day on the resort, we basically got the run around and told there was nothing they could do for us, unless we wanted to change airlines, which meant dishing out yet another $1000 plus for another airline. Overall we did love the vacation but there were some issues along the way that were frustrating and disappointing and will need to consider for future travel.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun: Perfection
We stayed at the Hyatt ziva Cancun turquoise tower for 7 days. The unique location in the hotel zone is the one of the main reasons I booked here for our honeymoon. As guest in the turquoise tower, the hotel provide complimentry shuttle service from the airport. Upon arrival to the hotel, we met our Butler, Joel, he turned our honeymoon into something magical with all kinds of surprises. The level of service he provided exceeded all expectations. The room is very stylish with great views. The beach is probably the best in Cancun because they blocked off all the big ocean waves. The restaurant and bar have elevated designs, but I feel like the food can be improved as they are a bit plain. All in all, this is a amazing hotel and I would recommend it to all my friends

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Paradise!
Amazing resort! I have no negative feedback. We had great weather, we had the best vacation ever! Grounds were immaculate. Rooms were spacious and everything was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Food was amazing! My 11 year old loved the buffet, Bitez and poolside food - he liked that eating didn't cut into his pool time! When not doing an excursion off the resort, we were at the pool having drinks, participating in trivia or dance classes. Evening entertainment was super as well. As wonderful as the resort is, the best thing about the Hyatt Ziva is the staff. Everyone from housekeeping, room service that delivered my morning coffee (and a fist bump!), the chef that made my morning omelettes, and the bartenders that gave me a different drink every time I said, "Surprise me!" They are amazing and our trip wouldn't have been the same without them! Special shout out to the entertainment crew who had us laughing all week - Antoneil, Omar, Rick, Crystal...so great! This was our second visit to Hyatt Ziva in 3 years. We are over the moon pleased with Hyatt Ziva, it’s services, staff, and above all, exemplary customer service! My husband and I would like to recognize a few staff members who consistently demonstrated what customer service is all about! We spent many meals served by a humble young man, in Choicez, by the name of Jovelle. To the Grindz coffee shop staff member Taneisha, who always remembered what I took in my coffee. She consistently thanked us for choosing their resort. We met some amazing guests and used every chance we had to promote this resort, assuring them we are coming back for a third visit in 2020. From the groundskeepers to housekeepers, they were genuinely happy to serve. We could all take away a lesson from a community in despair and challenging times. They left their struggles at home, and showed up each and every day with pride and a goal to make it the very best experience for us! Thank you to all staff at Hyatt Zivaâ¤ï¸

The grounds and common areas were very clean and well kept. The service was amazing, no mater if you were at the beach or sitting pool side you did not have to wait long for a drink or even a snack to be brought right to you. There were so many restaurants we couldn't even visit them all in 7 days. Everywhere we did eat though was so fresh and delicious. The rooms were very basic, but it didn't matter because there was so much to do around the resort you didn't spend much time in your room. All of the employees were super friendly and always there to help if you needed something. We did take a day trip with a cab through the Hotel and it was one of the funnest experiences, Leighton was our driver and he was extremely professional and showed us the sights along the way to our destination. Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Best Location on the Bay
Our 7th trip to PV in 7 years. By far, the best location for sunsets on the bay. Located a bit south of town, it is a more expansive resort compared to other hotels in town, never felt crowded. The Hyatt has the best beach I've seen in the area, very private, great sand, a chair for everyone. There are several pools, more than other PV hotels, and you won't have a problem getting a lounger. The food is good, large buffet. The Asian restaurant was amazing. The staff are very friendly. We had the most incredible maid service, pool side drinks kept coming, and I've never seen landscaping staff work so hard. The kids club, though not very attractive, has very caring, hard working ladies on staff and they have great programming for the kids. The Now Amber has a few more bells and whistles, but if you are looking for value and don't care to be right in town, this place is for you.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: It was amazingly amazing.
Fantastic Resort. It was amazing. Kino Ray Cummings is excellent. He made our dream come true. There is nothing negative about this resort. Will definitely return. As soon as we finished with the immigration stuff, we were welcomed into the Hyatt lounge. That made us feel so good.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Amazing Resort
The Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall Hotel is one of the best hotels we have visited. The hotel has a beautiful land scape. The room is spacious clean and has a big comfortable bed. They have nice restaurants with great food in abundance. The swimming pools are beautifully designed for both adults and children. All the staff we met were pleasant and respectful such as Andrew at choices, Rodney the waiter at the poolside and Tafari the entertainer. Overall we had a great time and wonderful experience. Thanks for the great service we received during our stay. We will surely come back.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun: Great Hotel
We have traveled to over 8 all inclusive resorts within half an hour of Cancun airport and this for many reasons appears to be our favourite. New, modern and clean hotel. We had a swim up suite as always and it had the best view of all hotels, and a huge reason we will return. Fantastic bed and pillows, beautiful bathroom. We went in October and always found spots around the pool or beach, which was so clear and blue. Though it's right in Cancun, being on the tip offered seclusion and unforgettable views. Free Wi-Fi worked well all over the resort. The food was good but nothing wowed us, however it was good enough to not be a deterrent to go back. Also, no nachos on room service menu! However, taco carts that came around the pool made up for that. Drink service at the pool was the best yet. Very attentive. The airport shuttle took 30 minutes so perfect for us.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: totally awesome
From check in to check out ,Totally Heaven ; I knew that this was my pick but with the help from Alexandra Biddle from trip central i made the right choice, This place was amazing , we were in room 2228 overlooking the pool with a partial ocean view. it was quite clean and very comfortable, well stocked daily with beer.3 types of pop 2 kids of juice and water. the grounds were well cared for and clean. their are plenty of loungers and cabanas around the pool and beach,A lot of shady areas around both,The service was great. you did not even have to move from your loungers to have a drink ore to order a snack, the servers were great and totally friendly, We are pool people and we were pampered all week, their are plenty of ala carte restaurants to choose from There all good but our favorites were the Italian and the Urban Heat located next door at the sister property.you can have the use of both property s , the drinks were all awesome and every meal and snake that we had were exellent,They have 24 hr room service. that we did nt use but people that i talked to said that they where fast and very good selection , We have been traveling two and three times a year to the islands for the past 16 years or so and i can honestly say that the staff at this resort are the most friendliest ,Everyone from staff to management will take time out to answer any questions or just talk to you , We just got back and i booked with Alexandra Biddle to return to the Hyatt again January 24th with my Daughter Tanya and her fiancee Albert Hunter this time so that my Daughter can see how great this place is and hopefully this will be her choice for her upcoming destination wedding come August / September of 2018 , Once again Alexandra for all you help and hard work checking things out for me on these three vacations that i just booked threw you , thank you Gerald Huggins

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Excellent Stay
The Hyatt Zilara is the most amazing spot I have ever been to. Friendly staff and the groundskeeping was perfect. Such a beautiful spot with gorgeous views. Everything was kept neat and in top shape. Our air conditioner was leaking for a couple nights and we told them about it 3 times but it never got fixed. Other then that we had an amazing stay and would go back as soon as we could with another couple to be there with.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Honeymoon Heaven!
THE FOOOD!! Can we just start there? I gained 6lbs at this resort because all I did was sleep and eat and sleep and eat and it was marvelous! The Italian and Asian restaurants were my favourite. We made a point to try every restaurant and snack shack during our 7 day stay and everything was delicious including the Nacho Bar and Jerk Chicken Pizza! The Junior Suite was lovely and the big soaker tub was just what the doctor ordered. There were 3 options for beaches, 2 of the 3 were very rocky but the 3rd was absolutely picture perfect. (its the one shared with the family side of the resort so there are kids at this one). The staff was very attentive, helpful and polite and it was a nice quick trip from the airport to the resort. The shows in the evenings were ok, nothing spectacular but the ambiance was so lovely just sitting out under the stars, it didn't really matter what music we were listening to or what performance we were watching that night. The only thing I really missed was any sort of night life. At other resorts I have seen Dance Halls and Discos that stay open until 2am but this place pretty much rolls up the sidewalks by 9pm. (could have been a slower season i suppose?) It's delightful if you are looking for a quiet getaway but probably not ideal if you want to get out and dance or party til the wee hours.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Best Vacation
We stayed Aug 16-23 2017 for our Honeymoon. We stayed in building 4 on the ground floor 'swim up room' - BEST decision we made. I've never stayed in a room like this, it was so nice and with your own semi-private pool that attaches to the main upper pool. Staff was more than accommodating and friendly. Food was top notch, I loved the focus on restaurants as opposed to buffets... I find buffets are just a giant feeding zone for mass amounts of people. Rather you can go to a restaurant, sit down and look at a menu with select options depending on the restaurant you go to. I don't have a bad thing to say about any restaurant all the food was exceptional, never had the same thing twice. We ordered room service a lot (it was our honeymoon) and again the food was good, service was amazing. The shows were okay....still entertaining but I have seen better. The resort is two sections, adult only where we stayed and a family side. You do have to go to the family side for a lot of the restaurants and for a calmer beach but it wasn't THAT big of a deal but if you want ONLY ADULTS everywhere ... might not be the resort for you. Loved the beach, we had some days with higher winds but the waves were fun to ride in the ocean. Crowd, we noticed mostly couples, newlyweds or parties. Lots of Birthday parties, these groups only stayed 4 days at most I felt. This was my first time to Jamaica but certainly not our last! Thanks for the best honeymoon we could have asked for Hyatt Zilara ! :)

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Near Perfection in Puerto Vallarta if You're Not a Foodie
No review complete without mentioning the great service and information received from Melanie M. at TripCentral. Despite a few concerns about rain and cloudy weather we selected mid-August for our week-long stay at the Hyatt Ziva, Puerto Vallarta to avoid the crowds. It was the right decision as the pool and beach areas, restaurants, etc. were crowd-free and the weather was perfect. There was only one day of rain and it was in the late evening. The weather reports pre-departure were not accurate so don't let that deter you. On the positive side, the resort should definitely receive a solid four stars and the magnificent beach deserves five stars. In Mexico, they are not allowed to have private beaches but the Hyatt is situated between rock formations which prevent access from either side, rendering the beach virtually private. The few beach vendors are all resort-approved and carry a license saying so. If you are not interested, you only need say it once and they respect it and walk away. The resort property is really lovely and the grounds manicured and maintained to perfection. We chose to upgrade our room to a Club Suite Oceanfront View which was spacious and well-appointed and worth every penny of the reasonable cost. The staff are top-flight - extremely polite and service-oriented. Even though an all-inclusive, tips for poolside drinks to housekeeping are greatly appreciated. We were really surprised at guests who were at the pool all day, ordering dozens of drinks, who didn't even have the common courtesy to tip every so often. I'm glad to say they weren't from Canada. We stayed near the adult-only infinity pool which was lovely. On the negative side, it seems to be a chronic problem with resorts to have loud music blaring from speakers but the sound was a little less by the adult-only pool and seemed concentrated at the other infinity pools for families, the swim up bar, etc.. At least they didn't make announcements of activities every hour upon the hour. In the tower we stayed at, there was construction noise that started at 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. which we didn't expect and would have appreciated knowing about as the sound was loud in our rooms and around the pool area. It might have been a booking deal breaker had we known. But our biggest complaint is with the quality of the food. If you are a foodie, this is not the place for you. The buffet, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, had limited selection and suffered from everything being overcooked with just a few exceptions. The themed buffet dinners, e.g. Mexican, Caribbean, Italian, were uninspired. The hamburger and club sandwich from room service were among the few edible items on that menu. The steak restaurant Blaze, Mexican, Italian and Asian restaurants were a bit better quality than the buffet but each of these restaurants only deserves three-stars at best. If you want lobster, I was told it would cost an additional $50 USD. We think this resort could be an A to A+ if it took a long, hard look at its food service and made some serious improvements. For now, it's a great resort to select if you want to stick to a diet and not be tempted by the food.

Hyatt Zilara Cancun: Fabulous 10 day stay at Hyatt Zilara Cancun
This was my first time in Mexico and had an amazing holiday. The resort exceeded my expectation and felt so welcomed by all of the incredible staff. Great food and exceptional hospitality. Special thanks for Andres in Guest Services for extending a warm welcome and making me feel comfortable with excursion recommendations. I would also extend special praises to all of the staff with a sincere thanks to Fernando, Kenny and all the boys at the bar for their professional and exceptional hospitality. Thank you to all the Hyatt Zilara team for an unforgettable and wonderful vacation experience. Cons: air conditioning in the guest rooms 72-73 on the thermostat was warmer than I would have preferred. Other guests shared this same feedback. I reported this to the front desk and manager on duty but nothing was done and no follow-up. Ceiling fans above beds helped but were noisy. King bed in luxury oceanfront suite was uncomfortable. Several guests shared this same comment. Hopefully the Hyatt will be getting some new beds and fix the A/C so their guests can enjoy a good night sleep.
