We spent a fabulous week at Couples Swept Away . The rooms were clean and very well maintained. The mini fridge was stocked daily. The employees were super friendly. The food was excellent in the buffet, the specialty restaurants and the grill. Feathers specialty restaurant was amazing. The grounds are well maintained. The entertainment in the evening was low key but nice the steel drum band was awesome . They have numerous activities in the day time that you can do, from yoga, aquafit, pickle ball, lap pool, bean bag toss, ring toss and so much more. They also have water sports that’s included. Glass bottom boat ride, snorkeling and catamaran. Negril beach is amazing and they rake the beach every morning. Lots of beach chairs with cushions and the cushions you can use as floats in the ocean. This is truly a wonderful resort. We have done 20 plus all inclusive resorts and this resort will be our new go to.

Our hotel room was spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the Tower Isle. We enjoyed the sailing, snorkelling, and Jamaican dance class. We visited Couples Sans Souci for a day. Our favourite daytime spot was Tower Isle. Our favourite nighttime spot was the martini and piano bar. The Eight Rivers and Bayside restaurants were both excellent. We would definitely go back to Couples Jamaica, but might consider a longer stay and spend half the time at Tower Isle and the other half at Sans Souci.

We just returned from Couples Tower Isle and had a fantastic time. This is our second time to Tower Isles and we will definitely return again and again. Both times (March 25 and May 26) there was a marvelous breeze so even though it got up to 31° C, it was still very comfortable. The staff are amazing here, always willing to go the extra mile. The rooms, pools, bars, dining and entertainment was great. This is the second time that Robyn Plante booked us to Tower Isles. Robyn was a great help. We were so impressed with our Jamaica trip last March that we even booked a family Jamaica trip through Tripcentral last December at Iberostar Selection Suite. We had a great time there with the kids and grandkids. Victoria Guest helped us book as Robyn was away. I would highly recommend both agents and Tripcentral. We have been booking through Tripcentral for many years.

The hotel was perfect, grounds were well kept. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. All the restaurants were fabulous, we did not want for anything. The beach was excellent. We were pleased with proximity of the facilities. We had a garden suite and it met all our needs and was very comfortable. We will definitely try to come back.

From the moment we got to the Couples lounge we were promptly greeted, bags looked after, shuttle to hotel was comfortable, we were treated so well the entire trip! Our room was perfect, food was amazing. Shout out to our amazing house keeper in D block Ivaney, she kept our room so organized and clean and was so kind to us. Shout out to Taj at the beach grill for cooking up awesome meals and teaching us about Jamaican cuisine and culture. Thanks Couples we will be back

We had a wonderful vacation at Couples Swept Away Negril for seven wonderful days. The people, the grounds, the accommodations and of course the beach were amazing. I would highly recommend this resort and will book again in the future.

Couples Tower resort is a great size for getting around. It’s not too large and doesn’t feel like it’s overcrowded. The resort bars, restaurant (breakfast, lunch and buffet dinners) have good ocean side views. The ala-cart restaurants that require reservations were really good, good food and options on menu. All water activities are included with resort (so no fees!) The rooms could use a facelift with headboards and furniture as it’s older and made room smell moldy. The balcony view of gardens were very cool and private, kinda like a rain forest, very picturesque and tranquil. The beach is small but water is clear and good swimming and snorkeling.

We love this resort as it is small and we don't have to fight crowds at the restaurants. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. The beach is spacious with plenty of shady spots and you can walk a long distance down the beach past other resorts. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the water aerobics but there are also lot's of watersports, activities and outings included. Special perks for repeat customers are available as well. It was the perfect get away!

We had another enjoyable stay at Couples Negril. Our journey started with nothing but problems (delayed flight, lost Club Mobay order, missing luggage), and when we arrived at the resort 3 hours later than expected, we were placed in the only Beachfront Suite, ground floor room we asked not to be placed in, 9108 - the closest room to the nude beach. Reception was quick to rectify that and we were moved 2 days later to room 5107, the furthest in the opposite direction, near the boat and diving rentals. We loved this room! Many staff recalled us from our visit the year prior. It felt like coming home. The weather wasn't the best in the afternoons, but mornings were fantastic. We love that this resort has everything you need mere steps away. You need only dress up a little for one restaurant and for the rest it is dress casual - that's refreshing while on vacation. The beach and pools are always clean. Food was disappointingly average this year, but we really enjoyed the lobster at end of lobster season (Mar 31). In one instance a jerk chicken sandwich we ordered at lunch could not be obtained as they were out of chicken! At dinner one night, after the meal, we wanted chocolate mousse but the tray was empty and when we enquired, they were all out! We did encounter one waitress at lunch who should not have been there; she was quite rude, but other than that and those points outlined above that had nothing to do with the resort, it was a great trip.

A bit dated but superbly well kept. Nothing is ever not functioning or broken as they keep things perfect at all times. There are newer and marble filled room etc… but what makes this resort stand out is the VIBE. It is chill, calm and fun a g the same time. Small in size, food is good and the people there looking after us guests are friendly and pleasant. This was our second time there and it was exactly like we remember it back in 2019. Not a party place, but enough to keep busy if you take part in all activities throughout the day. No stress in finding lounge chairs on beach or around the pool. There is always availability no matter when you are looking for one so no need to get up early to find a lounger. As I mentioned, it’s just a nice calm and chill resort with good food, great service and just plain chill vibe.

Everything about the resort was great. The biggest highlights: -The service was fantastic. Guests are always taken care of, everyone is beyond friendly. -Food was great. We ate at each restaurant, but the buffet was the clear winner. Always great options, fresh food, etc. -Beach is fantastic. Very clean, and there was always a spot to lay down -Cats on the resort were a big highlight

This resort is older and smaller than the " hotels on a beach" type so everything was close and convient. Beautiful room although not a lot of time spent in it! Balcony overlooking the pool and ocean was fantastic. (We paid extra for premium ocean view which was worth it imo. We are seniors so not interested in the party/nightlife scene but enjoyed the early entertainment - music - every night. Food was great! Grounds well kept. All in all a great trip was had!

Fantastic, small, private resort. Perfect for quiet time together. You can be social if you wish, but the staff and other guests really respect your mood either way. The staff is lovely, food is great and we really love the beach and the amenities.

This property celebrates its history. If you are looking to feel transported to the 1950s, this is for you. Some areas are a little run down, but it hardly seem to matter. I had wonderful conversations with some of the staff who truly want guests to have a fantastic time and take pride in where they work. One of my favourites was with a sous chef, who offered to take me on the kitchen tour next time. If that is not a reason to go back, I don’t know what is. (Sadly it was while waiting for the airport shuttle when we had this conversation.) The grounds are beautiful, and an off chance remark made to a gardener while I was examining a flower became a 40 minute lesson on the island’s horticulture. This happened outside the scheduled grounds tour. The food is fantastic. The buffet always surprised me with its variety of Jamaican and international offerings. The a la carte restaurants served plates that almost seemed to pretty to eat. Everything was delicious. For those interested there were lots of GF options and they took food allergies seriously. The rooms were spotless, though we didn’t spend much time in ours. Most of the day was spent walking the grounds, at the pool, on the beach or on the island. We collapsed into bed before midnight so we could be outside all day.

We had an amazing 10 days at csa and we will be back again soon .. everything was as expected and we got to see our Jamaican friends . the Couples Swept Away resort was relaxing, Clean, very quiet for this time year. They are renovating the Patois kitchen which they served the menu at the buffet restaurant instead which was amazing food.

The resort is about a 1.5-hour drive from Montego Bay Airport (MBJ). On the way there, it felt more like a 40 minute ride, but the return trip felt longer—likely due to traffic or time of day. It’s definitely a bit of a drive from the main airport though. The resort has a mix of old and new in terms of aesthetics. You can tell the resorts been around for a while—hallways and rooms show some wear, like cracked balcony tiles, older furniture, and a shower that could use a little more care. But the lobby, restaurants, bars, and gift shop seem recently updated with a more modern feel. Everything was clean overall, though some areas could use some touch ups. Our room had a comfortable king-sized bed, though the bedding felt a bit rough—we mostly slept on top of the sheets and were fine. AC is available in the rooms but not in the lobby, hallways, or restaurants, so it can get hot when walking around. The in-room AC worked, but wasn’t very strong—we had it set to 60°F, and while it felt cool after being out for a while, if you started to move around a lot it would start to feel warm again despite the AC being on the coldest setting. We spent most of our time outside anyways, so the features of the room aren’t really something that’s too important for me. There was a large wall-mounted TV with limited channels, and the Wi-Fi worked best in the lobby. It was slow or spotty in the rooms, on the beach, and at restaurants. We appreciated the quiet grounds—no bugs or pests inside, just a few ants or bees outside. We also saw some tiny land and sea crabs, and a few adorable kittens roaming around. The food was great! There are 4 restaurants, and some require reservations—which you can make through the front desk or guest services. Bayside, the Asian-inspired restaurant, was our favorite. We also enjoyed the poolside buffet night with Jamaican/Caribbean dishes—it was a standout. The pool grill served delicious beef and chicken patties, which you could grab to-go and eat on the beach. Staff was really accommodating with food requests. Across the restaurants, buffets, and grills, there was a wide variety of foods provided, such as: omelets, bacon, plantains, cereals, soups, jerk chicken, oxtail, rice, burgers, tacos, steak, shrimp, pad Thai, curry, fruits, cheeses, desserts, and more. The food had that typical resort feel but was still flavorful and satisfying. Cocktails were strong but tasty—we especially enjoyed the jerk chicken, patties, and drinks. The beach was the best part. The water was calm, clear, warm, and shallow—a dream for non-swimmers like me. Most days had green flags, and only one was a yellow flag, when we noticed tiny fish swimming nearby. There’s a buoy line about 40 feet or more out that marks where the water gets deep, so there’s plenty of shallow space to enjoy. Best of all, there were hardly any vendors, so it felt very peaceful. They hardly had loud music playing too. We used our tiny personal speaker for some music while on the beach and by the pools. Keeping it at a low volume so not to disturb anyone. No one complained or commented. There’s also a small private island accessible by boat, but it is nude-only. Guests can visit clothed from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and take photos, but after 9 a.m. guests must be nude and no pictures allowed. I didn’t know the private island was nude only, so I was a bit disappointed as I wanted to spend more time there, clothed lol. But we still had fun enjoying the short boat ride to the private island, and spending 30min was just enough to take some stunning photos by the cliffs. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Couples Tower Isle for couples looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. It’s not a party resort—the average age was around 45+, but as a couple in our early 30s, we really appreciated the calm atmosphere, great food, strong drinks, and beautiful beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Beach--2.5/5 (small beach, very little shade, and not much for swimming) Water sports--2.5/5 (yellow flag every day except our last day which was green and all water sports were a go. This was odd as every day had the same windy weather; it looks like the water sports staff only want to take people water skiing once a week. Snorkelling was disappointing as there were not that many fish to see. Hobbie cat was fun) Food--3/5 (food was okay, best food was at the Verandah and Eight Rivers. Was eating a crab spring roll and pulled a one inch fish bone out of my mouth!) Service--2/5 (service not great. Staff fighting, staff standing around talking when people are waiting to be served) Rooms--3/5 (resort is in the middle of being renovated. Building staff take really good care of the building) Concierge--4/5 (promptly dealt with all requests and concerns) Location--2/5 (close to 2 hours from airport; near a main road so we heard a lot of loud trucks, motorcycles, and stereo music, not quiet) Golf--4/5-- at the Sandals Upton Golf and Country club. Course was okay, not on the ocean. Not too scenic or challenging--no water hazards. Staff were friendly and helpful) Quite a few couples make this their returning destination. One couple we met had been going there since 2006! Another couple for the last 8 years. So, there is something that keeps them coming back, maybe the pools and the au naturel island :)

Just returned from our first visit to Couples Tower Isle and would like to try other Couples resorts as we were very pleased with all they offered. After arriving in Jamaica we were welcomed at the Couples lounge with snacks and drinks. Got a nice but long 2 hour ride (due to traffic) to the resort where we were warmly welcomed with towels and drinks. Check in went quickly and we were given a garden view room in Building 3 on the second floor. The room was clean and comfy, had a nice view, fridge stocked according to our preference and everything worked. Our housekeeper did a great job all week tidying up our mess, and keeping the room clean and supplied with towels. It was easy to make reservations for the 2 specialty restaurants, to book the catamaran ride and to take part in the water sports. Service was excellent all throughout the resort even though they looked short staffed at one restaurant as the workers were running off their feet serving us. The sea was a bit cooler than expected and wavy for the first half of the week and some seaweed came in when it rained but it cleared up again the next day. Did not need to wear water shoes in the sea. However, the extra breeze kept the temperature very comfortable and mosquitos weren't a problem. Enjoyed playing pool and table tennis but the games room could use brighter lights. Would have liked more Jamaican food but still overate as the food was delicious. At this resort you can do lots or just relax. Can't wait to go to another Couples resort!

The staff was outstanding, everyone spoke and always had a smile! The food was a bit spicy but on a scale of one to 10, we would say a nine. Always plenty of variety and excellent desserts! The only drawback is the long drive from the airport .But the staff and location help you to overlook the one drawback!

This was our second time at Couples Negril and it continues to deliver. The resort has old charm feel, not very fancy, but it’s clean, functions well and has everything you could possibly need nearby. What makes this place incomparable is the staff! So friendly and welcoming. They treat you like family. The food is incredible, not a bad meal. The desserts are tasty too! Lastly, the beach at Bloody Bay is something that must be experienced. Warm, calm waters, tons of sea life, and no seaweed. Couples Negril offers daily snorkeling and glass bottom boat rides and a catamaran trip 3 days a week. So much to do and experience and it’s all included.

This was our first visit to the resort and it didn’t disappoint. Although the rooms are a little outdated they were very clean and well maintained. The service in all aspects was very good. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food catered to all nationalities and was good. The beach was amazing.

Second time around for this resort and loved it. The staff - shout out to Nelie, Elke England and to all the wonderful staff who go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. Loved the addition of coffee and banana bread delivered each morning to our room for breakfast. Our favourite thing is never having to search for a spot on the beach, shade or sun. Simply the best. Food is excellent. We have already booked our return visit.

Couples Negril is a charming get away in Jamaica. The rooms are clean and spacious with lovely balconies. The grounds are delightful with lush tropical vegetation and fish pods. The beach is amazing. Because it backs onto the highway and small airport we would recommend asking for a room toward the front of the property. It is smaller than some hotels , quieter,and there was never a problem with finding a beach chair.The staff were friendly and polite.

Had an enjoyable week here. Room was clean and had all we needed. We were on the garden side. Very lush view, but next time I would go for the ocean side. Food was excellent. Bayside was our favorite. Only drawback for me was the amount of stairs because of sore hip and the beach is very small. Other than that would recommend this resort. It is small and we did meet lots of nice people. Shout out to Kay Ann.

We have now stopped Caribbean island hopping, as we have found the perfect resort for us. We had the best room, 1101, what they call the Party Room, closest to the beach. The pictures didn't do the Beachfront rooms justice. Once you step inside it is breathtaking, so clean and spacious and the views are stunning. The bed was comfy. We did report a few minot things in the room that needed to be fixed, but those repairs were not done while we were on site. Maid service daily. Food was up and down depending on the restaurant, but mostly 4 out of 5 stars. First time in the Caribbean I was able to eat lobster without paying an extra fee! The beach is magnificent and the water clean and swimmable without having to wear water shoes. There were always beach and pool chairs available. They use the red flag service at the beach. You put the flat up by your chair when you want a drink and take the flag down when you are served. Beach drink service was excellent. The pool was always clean, and although a great meeting place in the afternoons at the swim up bar, it was never too noisy. The beach was walkable in 2 directions, in one direction towards the Royalton, and in the other towards the Riu and Riu Palace. After the Riu, you could visit market tents and barter with the locals for clothing, towels and souvenirs. There were also some vendors who do repeat business right on the beach at the resort. We met great people while there, including staff members. We can't wait to go back. Our only issue this trip was with Sunwing not with the resort at all.

This is the second Couples resort we have been to (the other being Sans Souci). What we love about the Couples resorts is that they are truly all-inclusive with absolutely no tipping allowed (you pay more up front so that this money is spread fairly amongst all of the staff including those who are non-guest facing). As a result the service is generally much better and the experience much more relaxing. Our room in the Great House was a little worn but clean and room service provided us with lots of towels as well as nightly turn down service. The beach was beautiful but with two caveats: we quickly learned that we needed to get up early to reserve lounge chairs with towels or we would not be able to get seats. And secondly we got stuck repeatedly breathing in second hand cigarette smoke from chain smokers who ignored the rule against smoking on the beach despite plenty of designated smoking areas nearby. In general the service was good but it was not as exceptional as at Sans Souci and there was some poor service. With a few notable exceptions, the staff was just not as friendly and welcoming as we were used to at Sans Souci. I have to note that we were super happy to see that most of the very friendly and healthy looking cats on the resort were ear tipped showing that they were spayed and neutered. Great credit goes towards the resort for this.

All was amazing, especially the beach and fine sand and crystal clean water with beautiful light blue color. The room was comfortable and specious with a tropical garden view. food, less variety than 5 years ago, but still very good. One thing that did not work was the internet, constantly not connecting. We complained to the front desk on the third day, but no one came forward to even investigate, so we were without the internet most of the time during the 7 days we stayed.

The hotel is very nice, great beach!!!, the staff is wonderful. The 2 a la carte restaurants that need reservations are good but the process for making the reservations really needs to be improved. It was very difficult to make reservations and to get a time that was acceptable. We were there for 2 weeks and could only get a reservation twice in the one restaurant. Also, leaving for the airport we had to be picked up 5.5 hours before our flight when the trip to the airport was only 1.5 hours. This was a bit too early and could have spent more time at the resort before leaving. Overall the trip was lovely and we had a great time but it could have been improved in some areas.

Couples did not disappoint. Location, location - The beach is stunning and the sunsets breathtaking. I can only echo all the great reviews posted. This resort is well managed and extremely clean. Staff are amazing, from the front desk to the servers to the entertainment team. This was our first visit and won’t be our last. The food was excellent at all restaurants and no issue getting beach chairs with some shade! We enjoyed the Catamaran cruise as well as some of the numerous activities offered throughout the day. You can do as little or as much as you want. It’s all there. We LOVED it.

Fantastic property, grounds, people and beach. All the good fun stuff is already included and available in an unlimited fashion. The best staff in everyway. Culinary team was outstanding! She is not the shiniest penny in the purse but the property is well tended, clean, lush gardens and what a massive clean well serviced beach and pool. Great vibe, fun days and nights, the 4 of us had a blast.

Hotel was wonderful. The food was excellent and lots of variety! Staff was attentive and friendly. Wish we stayed longer. We will be going back! Rooms are clean and fridge always stocked. Bus ride is a little long but worth it!

I am a repeat guest and loved it! Many of the staff here go above and beyond. I did find a difference in the food mainly at the Palms. I hope they rectify , just not much selection and the quality was not where it was in April. The rooms are dated but very clean so I am ok with that. I feel mostly paying for beach but this is rated at a 5 star so for me I expect the food to be there. I heard many repeaters say they will be trying elsewhere because it is pricey and has changed. Julian who does the glass bottom boat is amazing , so not miss it !

Upon arriving a ground floor room wasn't ready. The shower didn't have a shower head. The shower floor was made of river stones, very pain painful. The resort is very hilly with lots of stairs, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. One night they were serving lobster tail. My wife loves lobster. She was told she could have as many has she wants. After 2 tails they refused to give her any more. The service at the main restaurant has not very good. I asked 3 time for a diet coke which was not given, I had to go to the bar myself to get it. I asked for ketchup for my fries, they brought me a small container with a drop of ketchup. I had to search for bottle which was reluctantly given to me. When asking for an additional serving, they would ignore the request. Most foods were hot spicy which we are allergic to so the selections were extremely limited for us. Overall not an enjoyable stay.

We love this resort so much we just came back from 11th visit to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Everyone is so friendly, it's like returning home each time. Beautiful lush grounds and low rise buildings set on a beautiful beach with the most amazing sunsets in the world.

This was our 9th time to CSA and we love it more every time we go. The whole experience is uplifting relaxing and good for the soul. The food is delicious, the people that keep CSA going are amazing. You can be quiet and relax or you can be busy with the many outdoor and indoor amenities CSA has to offer. We can't say one negative thing about CSA even the bus ride is fun and educational.

Food was exquisite and served quickly and always hot! Not once was I worried about food safety. Drinks were delicious with plenty of options. Rooms were sufficient, with good AC. Beach is large and manicured, even the swimming area was free from rocks and debris. Crystal clear water! Plenty of space and loungers for all. Large selection of water sports to choose from and all included. Staff all friendly and willing to assist.

HOTEL OVERALL: Exceptionally clean, not overcrowded and friendly. SERVICE: Exceptional by all except in a few cases in the buffet, eight rivers restaurant and poolside grill. FOOD: buffet breakfast and Veggie Bar are great. Poolside grill is good. Buffet lunch and dinners left much to be desired. SPA: the spa is fair. Definitely did not get the elevated spa experience based on the cost of services. NIGHTLIFE: Nightly entertainment is almost non-existent.

We had a wonderful time at Couples Negril in April 2023. The beach is amazing and never crowded. The food was amazing, although their app to book dining reservations never worked so be prepared to be at guest services at 7:00 AM to hopefully get a table. The atmosphere of the resort is really relaxed, it's not the party crowd which suited us just fine. The rooms were adequate, nothing special, but always clean and well appointed. The team at the dive shop is top notch. They were amazing, well organized and ensured everyone enjoyed their dive time. Our only complaint is with the booking of the room. When we originally booked we opted to upgrade to a "Deluxe Ocean View". When we got there we were given a pond view next to the highway in the building farthest from the beach and dive shop. This is not what we paid for so we did request an immediate room change. They did accommodate us and move us to an appropriate room the next morning but this should have never been a concern. Be aware that their definition of "Deluxe Ocean View" will differ from your expectations. Overall, a great time and we'll definitely return.

Pros: Nice size rooms, clean, cool, good house keeping, views, staff is friendly, kind and helpful, food was good and agin staff is pleasant to interact with, top notch service with a smile, premium liquor, good bar service, lots to do, beautiful beach front, theme night is great, enjoyed the evening entertainment, all around great experience and highly recommend Cons: No bar service by spa pool area, employees at activity centre are aggressive for upselling boating excursions, no local cuisine was really ever offered during my 5 day stay and had to go off site to experience local cuisine

This is an older resort, but beautiful! It’s a small private beach, but there plenty of room for everyone! The food is fantastic! There is always something to do, even if there’s a red flag day, which means no water sports, or boat to the au natural island. This was not an issue for us, as we didn’t want to go to the island. We loved this place and my wife and I WILL be back!!! 🤙🇯🇲❤️

A stunning resort, well-maintained with a caring and friendly staff. We were a little surprised that so many people used the 2nd beach to sunbathe in the nude, but it left more chairs for us. Loved our room and the food was extremely good and plentiful. No complaints at all.

Beautiful resort with waterfalls, private beach amazing views. The food and service are excellent, every room is modern, comfy. Low guest count therefore never fighting over beach chairs, no lines. Very calm resort but with enough nightly entertainment. I would only want a different variation on entertainment , it was only live music while we were there, sometimes some sort of show would be nice to see. If you can get past the 1.5-2 hour long drive, its 10/10.

Generally very nice resort. A relaxing week - A lot of good, some bad, some areas for improvement. For the pricepoint, I would look elsewhere. Background Comparison: We have travelled to 15-20+ Caribbean resorts over the last decade - usually aiming for good value (highly rated on tripadvisor at a good price). Usually that could be $1500-2500pp, so around $4-5k for two for a week. This was a weeks trip away for $7.5k as a comparison. We were excited for this trip - adults only get away at a premium resort. The service is suppose to be top notch, great beach, great food. Pre-arrival: 0/5. Emailed resort twice, no response. Rooms: 2/5 Typical All Inclusive resort room and shower. Dated and old in some ways, but still functional. Was definitely expecting more based on other resorts that are newer and renovated. We upgraded to an ocean view but barely could see the ocean. This was a common problem and management said it was 'partial view - bend over the railing, turn your head and try to see through the trees and there is a little blue water". Meh, not impressed. Drinks were not supplied daily in the room 3/7 days we had our fridge refilled, but filled out the card every day. Beach: 5/5 Great beach, lots of lounge chairs, nice water and clear. Nice sand. Best feature of this resort. Pool: 4/5 Good pool; stayed mostly on beach. Activities: 3/5 Some activities were good, others didn't happen. There were issues at times - for example, karaoke night used WIFI which failed dozens of times during songs. It made karaoke night challenging with a song freezing every 30-60seconds. They had a couple of beach outings in the evening - buffet and also a bon fire (and musician) which were really nice. Nightlife: 2.5/5 Smaller resort, less people. A diverse group ranging from newlyweds to seniors; but typically the night was over by 11pm-midnight. Extras: 2/5 Scuba diving was suppose to be free but they changed their policy between when we booked and arrived. No communication. You must be certified to get free diving. If you want to try for the first time there is a cost. If you are certified and its been a while and would like a refresher lesson, there is also a cost. Night time dive - there is a cost. Mixed results on scuba due to the change in policy. The second excurision was a sunset restaurant. Food/drinks are extra there and they let you know this in advance. We were told it was a few minutes to Rick's Cafe, but once there it was 20min walk so not very possible. I would pass on this 'free excursion". The third excursion was a catamaran trip to some caves. Plus free drinks on your way back. That was cool and fun. Great job on this one. Food: 4/5. Good overall options for food. There was a lobster night. Most apps were rushed out and pre-cooked so somewhat dry, overcooked. The rest was generally good. Steak options good. Service: 3/5 There were some great staff that went above and beyond; and then there were multiple misses. They seem to be well staffed, just not all engaged. a) running out of towels. How is this possible when you have 3-5 staff on towel watch - literally all day at the station but no one takes the dirty towels to wash. b) drinks in room not delivered. c) beach bar staff were generally rude, non-attentive, and it seemed they were angry at each other. Very poor on communication within themselves and guests. Some people have been visiting this resort for 10-20 times! they love it here, and there are certain aspects where I can see why. For us, there are newer places that are better priced with more features and fun.

Well maintained Art Deco hotel from the 1950's. The original Couples resort still delivers. Beautiful beach although not a long one. Bed was very comfortable and the room was nice. We had an ocean view room and had breakfast on the balcony every day. Majority of meals at all the restaurants were very good. The beach party was great and all the nightly entertainment we saw was excellent. We were always able to find a shaded lounge chair on the beach and the place never felt crowded. Were able to partake in all of the watersports as well. The best part of Jamaica however is the people. Everyone working at the resort and the drivers/chauffeurs were very friendly and personable. Just wish it was a little closer to the airport.

This was our first visit to Couples Negril. We went in early October 2022. We had a very early Tuesday flight out of Toronto (6:15 am departure with Sunwing). Our airport experience in Toronto was excellent, with very short lineups and the flight was on time. The Montego Bay airport was the same with us landing and we were at the shuttle bus on our way to the resort in well under an hour. The drive to Couples Negril is about 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Arrived at the resort and were greeted with some champagne and a cold towel while we checked in. Our room was not quite ready so we left our bags and went and had lunch and then went to the beach for a few hours then went and got our bags and room key. We had a garden view room in building 8 with a patio and a couple of chairs. The room was more than adequate with a comfortable bed and was kept very clean the entire week we stayed there. The A/C was cold, but adjustable with a remote control. We were only in the room to sleep and shower, the rest of the time we were out enjoying the resort. Lots of hot water and the room had the usual amenities that a hotel room has. Likes: The people who work at the resort. Very friendly and fun to visit with. We met and visited with lots of other people on the beach. The food was amazing everywhere we ate. Try the soups and step outside of your comfort zone with some of the meals. I did and was pleasantly surprised. The beach on Bloody Bay is very nice. Great for long walks and also great swimming. No water shoes required. Fun to watch all the activity while laying on a lounger or in for a swim. The water was so warm we spent most of our day just floating around. Mini Bar stocked in your room with full size bottles and mix. Coffee maker in the room. I am up early so I liked making a coffee and just sitting on the patio to start my day. The included watersports activities. These were very popular. Dislikes: I don't have much to add under the dislikes heading. I wish the drive was a bit shorter, but it is what it is. On the plus side, it is interesting seeing the local Jamaican life and scenery on the way out. Recommend this resort: Yes definitely Will we return: Yes definitely

Tremendous upkeep, always someone cleaning, washing and sweeping the grounds. The rooms were clean and neat and had house keeping every day. The food was amazing, didn’t matter which restaurant we ate in. Great entertainment, not every night but when there was, the performers, singers were of extremely professional abilities and quite enjoyable. The staff assist with everything, wanting their guests to enjoy their vacation as a vacation without having to do anything but enjoy themselves. The white sandy beach and the blue water were spectacular.

The resort itself is beautiful. The beach is out of this world…. White sand and blue water. The resort needs more variety in food and lacked a cafe… there was no where I. The day to find a nice latte or cold shake with some baked goods. It will be nice to have a place to relax and enjoy the cafe. The lighting in the rooms need to be brighter. The staff was outstanding and worked very hard to keep the place pristine. Overall a wonderful resort.

The beach was fantastic, nice white sand, calm waters. The room was fine, A/C was good. The cleaning services were fine, except that they came very last, 3:30-4:00 pm. The food was average, All the restaurants were open-air except, Feathers. The Palms buffet was in a covered outdoor space, so lots of bugs in/around the food. Patios Patio had great breakfasts and the Grill had good jerk chicken and burgers. Feathers restaurant was the only restaurant that wasn't open-air, the food was very good there. all the staff were friendly and nice. Beach 5/5 Food 4/5 Resort Facilities 3/5 Overall 3.5/5

This was our first time visiting the Negril area of Jamaica & this resort. Covid protocols were relaxed during our stay as mask mandates had been lifted. There were hand sanitizing stations in common areas. The resort was not at full capacity, and based on previous vacations to another hotel in this chain, I'd say the staffing levels are still recovering. Nothing major, just not at the level I had experienced in previous (prior to Covid) visits - mostly maintenance, which is reasonable under the circumstances - service itself was outstanding in most instances. This hotel is located in the middle of seven mile beach & the beach is fantastic, the hotel is very laid back and has a beachy vibe. If you are pool people, this may not be the place for you. The restaurant options, food and service was very good! We had a room in the Great House, rather than the numerous bungalows throughout the resort, it was a good location, offered a bit of an ocean view, and was quiet, but next time I'd try a bungalow.

The resort was busier than previous visits (for obvious reasons), but we were very excited and happy with our entire stay. The food was excellent as we were expecting and the staff were really friendly. We’re looking forward to return I. November to Couples Negril for our 9th time here. We love this place!

Unfortunately my wife and I were not thrilled with the Couples Tower Isle resort. The food was ok, service was slow and the rooms / amenities were very old. We would not go back. Being a Couples resort we were left a bit speechless. Our first impressions were not great. The staff at the front desk were not friendly, welcoming or even smiled upon arrival. We were then walked to the far end of the resort to our room down a dark hallway which was a bit frightening as the lights were off. We later found out that they try and conserve energy and they are turned off during certain hours of the day. A simple explanation on our way to our room would have went a long way rather then walking us down a black hallway. The elevator has ripped carpet, and an excessive amount of streaking down the doors and mirrors. First impressions felt like a run down dirty motel. Rooms - The rooms were ok. View was excellent (which was the best part) ! Mattress was hard as a rock! Mini bar had 1 pepsi and 1 sprite in it as well as two beer. You get a 20 year old coffee maker as well as a very old beaten up storage unit for the mini bar and coffee maker to sit in. Our shower curtain was hung way to high so it was almost impossible to enjoy a shower without half flooding the bathroom. We tried everything to keep the water in the shower but it was near impossible. Tv's were good and channel selection was also decent. Wifi to the room was very spotty, slow and inconsistent. This is not a place to bring a laptop and complete work at. Bars - Always slow and ran out of popular drinks such as Mojito mix, Champaign, Scotch etc. At times the bartenders were outnumbered with 30 guest circling for a drink and 1 bartender working. The main bar which is near the buffet was always slammed. There was always a wait and always 1-2 servers waiting to collect drinks for their tables. At times, it just wasn't worth standing around waiting for a drink. The bar within the piano bar is better, but also ran out of Champaign and Scotch. Most nights, while watching the entertainment the bartender would be by himself with over 50 guests with servers popping in for drinks for their tables. You should never run out of drinks at an all inclusive. The third bar, which is in the pool, we never actually went to. (Reason coming below) Buffet - Was not too bad. Food was decent but I found there was not a lot of options for people like myself who were allergic to Shellfish. The service was always spotty in the buffet. Sometimes they would fill your coffee and water consistently and sometimes you were having to flag a server down to get a refill of coffee or water. One meal, my wife asked the server for some cutlery as there was not any on the table and they server just never came back. However, the number one thing that was not good at the Buffet was ordering an Alcoholic beverage. Almost every single time we ordered a drink from the bar it just didn't show up or would show up once you had already finished your meal. Breakfast was pretty good, although their machine that toast bread and bagels was broken almost every morning which was frustrating. This would require a server to unplug it, let it cool down and turn it back on. At this point, you give up on anything toasted. I also find it odd that the resort workers would sit and eat at the buffet including the onsite personal trainer. On our last meal, we were having breakfast before heading to the airport and I ate a piece undercooked sausage by accident. Within 4 hours, I was so sick I almost didn't make it on my plane home. I'm on day 4 and I am still stick. I only ever ate at the resort so if It wasn't the sausage it was something else. The Verandah - Service was ok. Our server brought us the wrong appetizers and made jokes to us that we were wrong and just changed our minds. I assured her that she made a mistake which just wouldn't accept. She did end up getting us the correct appetizers after some back and forth about it. They ran out of Wine and Champaign at dinner and we were only able to enjoy 1 glass. (How do you keep running out???) The food was pretty good, steak was decent. Desert was really good in my opinion. Bayside - This was the worst place to eat at the resort. The view and setting was excellent. To ensure my wife and I got a great seat we showed up a bit early and were first in line to get seated. I wanted a seat on the farthest end which has the best view of the ocean. The server quickly began sitting us to the opposite side. I told her I would prefer to sit on the other end for the great view and she said we were not allowed. We had to negotiate to sit in the middle of the restaurant. I quickly realized that the hostess was sitting the seniors in the best spots and the younger crowd on the end she tried to sit us. The food was awful. Udon noodles were actually fettuccine and the dish was so spicy that my wife and I could not eat it. My wife also complained that her soup tasted like warm water. (Oh, How could I forget? They ran our of Champaign....we were the first seating of the night). We ended up hitting the buffet after and enjoying some awful heartburn from the Bayside. Eight Rivers - This was the resorts best attempt at fine dining. Be careful of the dress code or you will have to quickly run back to your room and change. First time we went I wore sandals. Second time we went, sandals were not acceptable. Our server which we had twice was the best server we had all week!! She was excellent, her name started with an S, unfortunately I forget it. MY only complaint for this place was the bottle of wine we ordered which was $35 USD showed up more then half way through out meal. We had to sit and finish the bottle even after we were done desert. The second time we went, my menu and my wife menu showed completely different items which we didn't realize until we both tried to order. One menu was right and the other was not correct. Veggie Bar - My wife tried the veggie bar for lunch. 45 mins to get some spring rolls and a coconut drink... Food was not great. Grilled Cheese tasted off. She never went back to it. Pool Side Lunch - Service was so slow. at least 1 hr. to get in and out of that place. The area where they have plants hanging on the far wall are moldy and dirty. It did nothing to add to the look and feel of the place. There is quick options to grab food on you way out. You can choose from Nacho's, Popcorn, or Ice Cream. The Nacho chip warmer and popcorn machine looked to be about 30 years old. This is a high end resort, why have such old appliance on a counter? The expresso Machine was out of service during the only time my wife wanted a nice coffee during the trip. They simply laid a table cloth over it. The Jerk Dogs were pretty good as well as the onion rings. Everything else on the menu was questionable. Our server dropped our packages of ketchup and mustard on the floor and I watched him put them back onto the plate and bring it to our table anyways... Gross. In Suite dining - The only time we wanted to utilize this service was for coffee in the morning. I called the front desk and the only time they would drop off the coffee was between 6-6:30 am. I told them that was too early and I would like coffee for 7:30 and they would not accommodate it. This forced me to purchased two expensive travel mugs from the gift shop to fill up each morning at the buffet and bring back to our room for a morning coffee on our balcony. Side note: Lady working in the gift shop is miserable and the servers would often stare at me and give me dirty looks for filling up a travel mug of coffee in the morning rather then use their tiny cups. Cleanliness of Room - Was good. However, our routine on vacation is always to rest from the sun and take a quick nap between 3-5 pm before dinner. IT was disappointing when most of the time the cleaning ladies would not show up to our room until later in the afternoon which prevented us from being able to do this. There was times we would want to utilize our room late in the afternoon and it was still being cleaned. Pools - Pools were good. I wasn't a fan of the pool on the east end of the resort only because a large group was their every day. They acted like they owned that are and would take every single cushion off the lawn chairs and use them to build a Volleyball net. This was not the pool to hangout and lounge in which this large group taking over. Was disappointed the bartenders didn't put a stop to it. Excursions - Duns river, Catamaran and Snorkeling were excellent and free through the resort. This was free and well organized and on time! I questioned why there was so many workers sitting around socializing on the days where watersports were canceled and there was still 1 bartender Piano Bar - This was our favorite part! The entertainer at 9:30 every night was amazing and we really enjoyed him. Drinking Water - There is not bottled water on the resort. You must use your free plastic bottle in your room and fill up at their drinking water stations. I still had a hard time trusting the water and bottled water should always be available at a resort. Transportation - The resort did not have contact information for an Air Canada rep and the only person they had contact information for at Air Canada retired 3 years ago. This made booking our trip back to the airport challenging and took over 2 hours on the phone on hold to get it figured out. In summary, I felt that the servers and culture of the staff was low. Very few seemed happy to be there or even enjoyed their interactions with us as guests. I often wondered if the pandemic has put some serious financial strain on the people as well as the resorts. Everyone seemed out of practice. Considering the price we paid and the reputation of Couples resorts, I was beyond disappointed with our experience. I've been to less popular resorts in Mexico and Dominican and had way better experience.

We absolutely love this resort (3RD TIME) and will be returning next year. The food is always amazing and the service can't be beat. Most everything is included in the price and being a smaller resort, you don't have to content with crowding (you don't have reserve your chair!) Once discovered, most people return time and time again. The Couples rewards are a nice bonus.

This was our second time @ CSS in the last couple of years. The grounds are very tropical, basically situated in a jungle! Groundskeepers were always maintaining them. The food at all the restaurants is 5*, and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Our room was always cleaned and tidied up in a timely manner. The staff always wore face masks due to Covid-19, but we felt very safe at all times. We hope to be back in December 2022!

Beautiful resort. This is the second time we have been here. We have been to quite a few all-inclusive resorts over the years, and this is the only one we have chosen to return to. Excellent and friendly service and beautiful grounds. We stayed in a beach front room which are the most up to date (A and B block). Beach is small but no difficulty getting lounge chairs in sun or shade. No beach vendors to contend with. Three very nice pools and two hot tubs on the grounds. Their NO TIPPING policy is a huge reason we love this resort - it is truly all inclusive with no need to carry around American money and no favouritism among the staff. It felt very safe during COVID - the staff all wears masks and the guests all wear masks inside any buildings/restaurants. Hands are sanitized and a glove provided at buffets. A lot of the staff are vaccinated. COVID PCR tests provided free of charge on the resort as required to return to Canada. All very well organized.

This was our first trip back to Jamaica since Covid has altered our lives, and Couples didn't disappoint. Enhanced cleaning protocols were in place, staff were well prepared, and for the first time in months, life almost felt normal. Food quality was amazing, and the lineups at the buffet actually moved quicker with staff serving than they have in the past when it was "help yourself". It was interesting to note how the guests handled mask protocols, since they were required for internal spaces, yet some people chose to ignore that mandate. In general, the hotel and staff were amazing. If you are looking for a bit of normal in your life again, please don't hesitate to visit.

The hotel was taking all precautions to reduce Covid spread from employee served buffets to wearing of masks in high traffic areas Reduced capacity and one day delayed turnover room occupancy was also appreciated We highly recommend this resort to any future travellers as we felt safe and well taken care of while there

This was our 7th visit to Couples Swept Away since 2012. We still love going there to relax and recharge. The resort is kept clean indoor and outdoor. The food is always amazing at all the places to eat. The staff are always friendly and courteous. There is lots of things to do or do nothing, there is no pressure. I highly recommend CSA

Very nice clean hotel! Exceptional beach and swimming in the ocean!! Very pleasant relaxing holiday even during this difficult times. Staff working hard to keep resort clean and sanitized also to please the guests. Very nice touch from the hotel to arrange the Covid test for return inside the hotel and free of charge. Thank you Coupels Negril ! Very good job!!

Felt totally safe while we were there -masks were worn by staff and guests. Hotel was only at 20% capacity but we were very well taken care of and had a most enjoyable time -we definitely will come back after covid -that’s for sure. The only downside was the wait at the airport when we flew in to Jamaica-it took over 2 hours to get through the airport even though the other two aisles on either side of us went through quite quickly- but that was the only downside.

Smaller adults only resort with gorgeous white sand beach. Water so clear too. Would return again. This resort is more geared to adults over 40. It’s a quieter resort. Not a party till 4am resort. Entertainment most nights is quieter live musicians during dinner hours. Then around 9pm a feature singer is on till 10. After that it’s piano bar. No disco (yet). The house band & all singers were top notch! Covid Protocols in place. All staff wear masks. When entering any restaurant your hands get sanitized & your table is sprayed with sanitizer before getting reset. We wore masks whenever near others including staff when ordering food or drinks. The staff are happy to be back to work & ask us constantly if we felt safe or what more they could do to make our stay better. Ride to & from resort on their shuttle bus had lots of spacing between others. As I said earlier I would return again. Not a bad thing to say.

We certainly enjoyed our stay at CTI, it was our first adults only and first time at the couple's chain... No regrets. They did a great job on everything that was within their control to make our vacation great! Location makes it not the best for weather and usable Beach area is smaller than it looks in the photos ( and quite seaweedy), but if you're a pool person, who cares?

Couples Negril gave us the vacation we were looking for - a warm, sunny holiday where we could kick-back and relax. Food was very good, staff were friendly, water was warm & clean, long walks along the beach were perfect.

Hotel was relaxing. All staff were very friendly and service was generally very good though it does run on "island time". Staff keep the grounds and rooms very clean but some areas do show a bit of wear and age, mostly in hot tub and pool areas. Our Atrium Suite Room had recent renovations so was almost like new inside. The Atrium Suites also each have a huge covered private porch, perfect place for afternoon drinks. The Beach is stunning. Easily the nicest beach I have ever seen, fine white sand not like the course sand we usually have seen in other areas of the Caribbean and the sun sets directly in front of you for spectacular evening displays. Only minor thing we found was a lack of shady spots, you had to get set up early in the day to find a good one. Food was very consistently good. I am a picky eater but found lots to choose from at most meals and restaurants and no chicken fingers or fast food in sight at the buffet. Only fresh cooked choices and incredibly fresh bread and pastries every day. There is a grill restaurant however where you can get a burger or hot dog. Feathers restaurant is well worth making a reservation for. We went there twice and food was very good both times. Only thing was service the 2nd time was a little slow even for "island time". One of the hidden gems we found was at the 10 acre sports complex across the road though it is still part of the resort. There is a large pool there for swimming but no one was there most of the time. They have a bunch of lounge chairs and shade umbrellas so it was perfectly quiet place to read for few hours every morning. Only problem is there was no bar there except for smoothies and juice. Overall I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing place to go. I would say it is not for someone who wants to party all the time. It is definitely more laid back then some places I have seen but don't worry there is no shortage of Jamaican Rum or any other drink of choice if you want one. Hope to be able to back for sure!

Couples Swept Away is an amazing resort! The grounds and property are extremely well kept. The food was the best we have had at any resort, service was exceptional and the accommodations are second to none. The large balcony was our favourite place to relax and enjoy an afternoon cocktail.

We return to Tower Isle as much as we can, and always enjoy everything it has to offer. Food,Ocean,Staff are the best. Atmosphere is vintage which we love! Hotel was built in the 1950's and the décor is from that era. Garden tour is amazing with Hayden, he explains all the wonderful plants and trees. Liquor is top shelf and bartenders attentive.See you soon Couples!!!

This smaller resort provides excellent service and all the amenities needed to truly relax and recharge. A beautiful beach with plentiful chairs, high-end liquor and beach butler service, multiple restaurants and all the included water sports (catamaran, snorkel, water skiing)! Rooms are very clean, air conditioned, and bar stocked with your requests. I loved the ability to order the small continental breakfast to your room with coffee to have a leisurely time getting out the door (also included in the price). We met many nice friendly guests (including regulars who go back every year) and enjoyed the piano bar sing along, beach party and more. This is my first “no tip” resort experience and it certainly made it enjoyable. Transfers were efficient and started with the “Couples Lounge” area experience at the airport. We will go back!

The resort was clean, bright, well maintained. I didn't hear anyone complain about anything, the tourists at the resort were all smiling, the staff was always smiling. The resort has water activities, craft activities, sporting activities, games to play and activities for all to do. There was stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkling, scuba diving, water bikes, sailing, windsurfing, glass bottom boat tours, etc., there was also sitting on the beach enjoying the sun or at the pools. There were evening activities on the main deck, at the pool, in the piano bar, your choice to participate or not. All in all, it was a great trip. The weather wasn't the greatest all the time, but you really didn't notice.

Hotel was extremely clean there were always maintenance crews fixing and painting. Everyone had an amazing attitude. The owners treat their staff well and it shows! Will def be back .. it was raining during our wedding and they moved the time to accommodate for no rain

A piece of paradise in Jamaica. Rooms are spacious and clean. Variety of restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed the relaxed buffet setting. Staff are friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to return next year.

This resort is perfect! It is smaller than the big resorts so you dont have to get up early and reserve your lounge by the pool. The staff goes above and beyond. The food is second to none (I am a very picky eater) and the wide variety suits everyone. The buildings are well kept and very clean along with the grounds. Lots of activites. We will be going again next year!!!

This hotel has a private beach which, though small, was fabulous. Service was great, water beautiful, and the private nude island is a definite must see. The variety of food was great - we stayed 8 days and didn't see much repeat. We got reservations when we wanted them (more than once) and the included excursions are thoughtfully planned. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, this isn't for you. But if you are looking for more peace and relaxation, then you'll love it. One bad thing? Almost 2 hours away from Montego Airport.

Our room was lovely and well looked after as were the resturants, beaches and bars. The food is exceptional and the martini bar, although quite the hike to get to, was always worth the climb up the stairs. Christmas and New Year celebrations were terrific and the food plentiful, all under the marque tents that were set up on the main lawn in a day and a half, quite amazing. We went to the repeaters' dinner on the pool deck (about 60 or 70 of us) and only complaint was that the music was a bit loud so it was difficult to hear conversation across the table ( it was only a flutist playing, maybe he should have been further back). The lighting could have been better on the tables. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and happy.

Resort was beautiful, and the staff was amazing. Good food, beautiful surroundings and great food. My only complaint is the tipping policy- the resort claims to have a strict no tipping policy, however in certain situations the staff seems to expect a tip. I have no problem with tipping, but being unsure whether to rip or not was a bit uncomfortable

Best of the best. This was our fifth time at this resort, we already recommended it to others who have gone, we also took another couple .... and we will definitely be going back!!!!! for the record, this is the only resort we've been to more than once.

The Couples chain of resorts is amazing. Couples Swept Away is the most expensive and on the 7 Mile beach in Negril. However, the resort and facilities were amazing, along with the staff, the beach peddlers were assaulting. Constant peddling, never stops, security lets them bother guests, it's not relaxing. The first couple of days you laugh, then you just want to run away from Swept Away. For this reason, we will chose one of the other 4 resorts, Couples Sans Souci is our favorite.

The good: Beautiful beach, chairs are always available and resort never feels over populated. Pool lounges were never hard to find no matter what time it was. We really enjoyed the fact that no matter where you got your drinks, they do them the old way by hand, not like some resorts that use only slush machines now and just throw in booze, which end up tasting all chemical. The majority of the drinks here are still made in blenders from scratches. Staff for the most part are really helpful and attentive. Food quality was pretty steady across every restaurant. I wouldn’t call it 5 star dining but the food is pretty good and quality is there for sure. Similar menu items and flavours from one restaurant to another but quality is consistent across any restaurant you eat in. Buffet was pretty good and staff could be seen often with thermometer checking food temps, which assure the proper warm food throughout unlike some resorts we have been at. We loved that the scuba diving was free and included as much as you could wish.(2 dives a day if there is room). Sunset catamaran was a lot of fun and also free. Glass bottom boat also was free and neat. I seen some people waterskiing that was also included. A couple beach nights were a lot of fun. Dinner was setup on the beach and they did a great job at it. The Bad: Resort in definitely not 5 stars. It’s age is showing for sure but it is kept clean and immaculate. The roofs need replacing, the paint shows mildew everywhere. The property is small and very warm feel which is a pro. Kinda feels like living in jungle which can be good but night time is really dark everywhere except the main area around the pool and lobby. Some female staff seem to have some serious attitude issues. One dinner we would have awesome service and the next dinner, the staff seem as if they didn’t want to be there and treated you that way. But for the most part it was good. To sum it up, I don’t t know what it is about this resort but although we’ve been to nicer resorts with much better entertainment, more food choice, better food etc, we loved this trip. It’s just the feel of the resort and and it’s cosiness maybe. There are no kids or singles trying to hit on you every corner as it is for couples only so the vibe is different. Everyone talks to everyone and all seem content and happy and RELAXED. To if you are thinking about this resort, try it for sure as it will be a different experience that you won’t regret. Just try it.

This resort has some of the most beautiful grounds - landscaping is the first noticeable thing, with mature, lush foliage. It may have been around for some time, but it feels new and very well maintained. Room is the most modern and comfortable I've seen at an all-inclusive. Staff is so friendly - just don't be in a rush for anything as everything is island time ;) Perfectly located on the most beautiful stretch of beach in Jamaica, close enough to West End to go and explore some off-property locations as well. Would definitely recommend!

Overall this was a great hotel. The areas for improvement would be their service is hit or miss, but was especially bad in the Palms Restaurant and the Fish Taco lunch spot. Also the nightly entertainment (except the steel drum band) was pretty bad each night. With that said, if you are looking for a resort with great food, an amazing beach and quiet atmosphere for R&R then this is a great option. We were looking for a getaway to get recharged and this was the perfect spot to do so. Don't expect the fancy lobby with marble - but you can't beat the beach and quiet this resort provides.

The people are what make this place amazing. Thank you to everyone that was kind and helpful. A special mention to Nurse J who was there when we needed her. She was attentive, kind and very thoughtful.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, very lush and well maintained. We stayed in the Garden Veranda Suite and our view was all greenery, it feels like you're in a tropical forest. We had no issues with the noise from the road or tree frogs. The bed was so comfy and spacious. The beach is absolutely perfect! The water is so clear we saw fish, jellyfish, and even a stingray swim up near the shore. The food was OK - was either very good or not so good. I prefer to eat Jamaican food but they had a lot to choose from for American food as well. There were a lot of people walking up and down the beach trying to sell you things, it did get pretty annoying but by the end of the trip we were able to basically tune them out. The pool bar was a lot of fun, this is where you'll find that the younger couples hang out. Unfortunately we figured this out by the very end of our vacation. The piano bar I found attracted more of the older couples at night. The catamaran cruise was fun, but it wasn't as much of a "booze cruise" as I was hoping for it to be, they didn't play much Jamaican/dancehall music. I really enjoyed snorkling and the activities they put on for the guests everyday. Overall I had an amazing time and would love to come back!

Just returned from 7 day vacation to Couples San Souci, can’t say enough about this resort , the staff were fabulous, the rooms were great and cannot say enough about the restaurants and the food was the best we have ever had. We will be going back for sure.

At Couples Swept Away there is a beautiful beach and resort. We have been there 6 times and we will go back for our 7th next year. The staff are amazing, the food is amazing, pretty much the whole experience is amazing. You can be busy on the resort with all they have to offer or you can relax the whole visit.

This was a memorable vacation. The resort was beyond our expectations. The room was very big, clean and OMG the Ocean View was the icing on our cake. The numerous swimming pools, and bars were very convenient. The food was Excellent and the Ocean was so clean and blue. Numerous activities to partake but even if you did not want to go out of the resort, your day was still great. The evening entertainment was Great, the live bands were amazing. The staff were very friendly and service was Excellent. The only down side was the TV which kept freezing every so often but who really cares about TV when you are having such a good time.

We just came back from Couples Swept Away. Wonderful vacation in beautiful tropical setting and amazing white sand beach with crystal clear water. Food was one of the best we had in all inclusive resorts and we travel at least once a year to different once. Book beach front room if you can, they are located directly on the beach with beautiful ocean views and spectacular sunsets. Hotel offers tons of activities if you want to keep busy... they have sport centre across the street . We had professional tennis lessons by Norson.. very good ... the resort has 4 beautiful tennis courts, squash, gym and full size laps pool. The best restaurant for us was Feathers .. great food and service. Hotel has around 300 rooms so everything is close by. Hotel offers lots of events enhancing romance. One night they had amazing bone fire on the beach with soft romantic music. They have music at night in Palm restaurant and also late evening disco or sing along . Overall I would recommend this hotel to couples who want to have amazing relaxing time on the beach or want to keep busy . This hotel has something for everybody. We will be back for sure.

We were at this resort in July and we enjoyed it. The resort is small and we didn’t spend a lot of time for walking around to get to the restaurants, beach or room. The service and food were amazing. The best thing for us was that we had a lot of activities included: snorkeling, glass bottom boat tours, water skiing, kayaking, catamaran, transportation to different places. The beach was very nice. I would definitely recommend this resort to my friends and family.

Lots of great things about this resort: beach is priceless - gradual Entry into turquoise waters, rooms and grounds are 4 star, there are two pools - one is busier but fun and the other is quiet and very few people. Service at the a la carte restaurants is fantastic, buffet servers are average. Nightly entertainment is late for us, but it’s very good.

The staff were excellent. Plenty of restaurants and bars. The food was flavorful and plentiful. Room service was easy and a great way to start the day before relaxing by the pool. Entertainment was varied, something for everyone. Fun interaction with entertainment staff. Overall, whatever our needs, they were met to the best of staff's abilities.

Our second time vacationing at a couples resort. Once in San souci and the other couples Negril. Both had unique characteristics. We enjoyed the Wonderful hospitality in both resorts and meet some great people along the way. Both resorts grounds are well manicured and looked after. Food was good but would prefer if they had more fresh fish and seafood. Loved all the included excursions and took advantage of them all. Best beach is couples Negril and couples swept away. Water is so warm! Romance rewards have good perks which we took advantage of and used it for a photo shoot. One thing for us is that we like the smaller resorts, much better then the larger ones!

Couples San Souci is a lovely sprawling 150 room resort. The grounds are one of the many features that keep us returning year after year., that and the staff. It truly is like going home, as you are remembered by staff members after only one trip. It makes returning an amazing feeling. Rooms are functional, not all glamorous like some other resorts, if you are looking for glass and marble this is not the resort for you, however if you are looking to reconnect with your significant other, have great food, and ambience then this is the place for you. Beaches, there are two, one clothing optional, an the other a regular beach. Both are on the smaller side, however there is no public access to them both, so you do not have the vendors on the beach, which can be both good and bad, if you like people watching. Food is great, they will go out of their way to make sure all dietary needs are met, if you are gluten free, vegan, allergic, or vegetarian, regardless of your needs your covered. This resort has a 90% return rate for a reason!! Gym, inside and air conditioned. Spa, amazing! Room service, prompt!! Again its like going home.

Almost everything about this resort was nothing short of wonderful! It was worth the long drive from the Montego Bay airport (~90 min), still got a nice scenic drive. The resort is well taken care of, the room we had (deluxe ocean view) was spacious enough for us and I like a nice room! The dining choices were all exceptional, even the buffet was amazing (and I have never said that of any buffet choice at a resort). The only thing that I found bothersome was the veggie bar by the beach. This was one of the reasons we booked at Tower Isle, this was promoted as having healthy smoothies and juices with some meal choices as well (we are veggie people) - well, that much was true but the service was horrendous. Not sure why, everywhere else had fantastic service. Disappointing but we made do. The entertainment was always exceptional. And I cannot say enough about the staff - they worked tirelessly to set up, tear down (and so on) each new event taking place. Amazing!

The food and drink at CSA is top shelf- we are multiple visitors to CSA only 1 night where we disappointed with our meal at lemongrass overall food is 9.5 out of 10 loud screeching noise from jacuzzi first 2 days but was rectified by management we needed an extended check out and front desk staff graciously accommodated our request we left belongings in the safe by accident CSA called as we were on the shuttle to the airport to inform us made arrangements to ship belongings back to us well done by all front desk to make this happen!! Overall, another beautiful stay and we will be back again enjoy the sunsets on the booze cruise- spectacular

We stayed here from April 17-24. We absolutely loved this resort, it's our 3 stay at a Couples Resort. Everything from the staff, grounds and rooms were just perfect. We can't wait to go back. The food was amazing, especially on the special nights. The return guest dinner was amazing. our only complaint was the distance from airport, but totally worth it if you are prepared ahead of time.

I liked the size of the resort (not too big). Everything was within an easy walk. I liked that it never felt crowded no matter where I went (eating, beach, pool, tennis, bar), which made for a very relaxing stay.

Beautiful, very green resort. Nice, 6 room bungalows with more like executive rooms than suites. We first got a room on the ground floor that had no daylight and no sun at any time of the day. We were moved to the third floor corner room, and that would be the only room I would come back to. Food was amazing, we never went to reservation only restaurant, couldn't be bothered. Enjoyed Jamaican buffet and The Palms. Beach was good, quite a lot of natural shade, and few straw umbrellas, not enough if you come to the beach after 8 am. The water is a bit too shallow for my taste, you need to walk quite a lot to get to the depth for swimming. I liked that tips were included in the price. We didn't want to go to any excursions, even to the included ones. But, that was a nice option. Service was very good, everyone, from reception to restaurants was very pleasant and helpful.

This was our 2nd stay at this resort, it is a unique property, small in terms of the resort itself and amount of rooms. Highly recommend, it just depends what's important to you: Pros - the entire resort is adults only (you don't have to venture over to a family resort to access some of the services) - food is amazing, service is outstanding & the options are varied - the staff are great, laid back, but ready to serve - since it small & right on the ocean, most rooms and facilities have great views (you can see the ocean from your bed). Many extras included, catamaran tour, glass bottom boat ride, snorkeling, scuba diving, water skiing, Dunn's river falls, shopping tour, hobie cats, paddle boards, kayaks, windsurfing - no tipping - shuttle to tower isle for nude sunbathing option available - floaties provided on all lawn chairs which you can bring into the pools/ocean - nice gym and yoga room - on site spa is amazing. Cons - small beach (nice but can't go for long walks) - no shade from umbrellas or palapas (just palms trees & building, by pool) - boats for all the services are parked in front of the beach area - the dock is a bit of an eyesore - not sure this is a con, since I see the environmental benefits, but you will need to fill up water bottles at the fountains provided on each floor. .

This was our second visit to Couples Negril. The beach, service and food were great. My only suggestion for improvement would be that the evening entertainment needs to be updated. I would highly recommend this resort.

My husband and I have just returned from 7 days at Couples Negril. This is a nice resort on a beautiful beach. Rooms are lovely and clean. Free excursions are a nice addition to the holiday! The activity team is a lot of fun and the variation of games etc. makes the day fly by. The beach is lovely and there is never a problem finding a chair. Evening entertainment is good.Options for food are quite challenging if you have any dietary issues but for those who can eat everything there is a lot of choice. It was a nice breakaway from the snow and rain!

First time at this resort but had stayed at Tower Isle in the past. We loved this resort so much. The beach is so beautiful and never had an issue finding a chair or shade. Did not find the vendors pushy. We enjoyed walking the long beach. Sunsets were amazing. Hotel size is just perfect if you are looking for something a bit more intimate. The grounds are lush with lots of foliage so very nice to look at. Everything is nicely grouped together and you never have to walk far for anything. One reason we enjoy this type of resort is that you keep running into the same people day after day which makes it a friendlier vibe. Food-is superb. I found the food to be top quality and many healthy options rather than all fried food like other resorts. Food did not upset our stomachs at all so that's saying a lot. Alcohol is all top shelf so drinks were so tasty. Entertainment is our favourite at this chain from all other resorts we've been to. We love that they bring in local entertainers. We love the morning violin/guitar players for breakfast, we loved all the after dinner entertainment but have to say our absolute favourite is the singer at the bonfire. The piano bar sing a long is such a blast and a must do while you're there. Our room was on the first floor which I don't normally like but it was a lovely garden view room and since there are no elevators at this resort was perfect for us. I do not have a single bad thing to say about this resort and we look forward to going back again.
