I started booking travel many years ago starting with my dear mother who had difficulty navigating through the many options and selections available on modern online travel sites. What she found frustrating I found to be a puzzle I enjoyed solving. After the 5th cruise booked for them I realized I really enjoyed the challenge of finding the right itinerary at the right price in the right stateroom with the right cruise line. I had been looking to change careers and so kind of fell into my calling.

As a formally trained constructivist counsellor I bring this skill set now to travel helping my clients via needs analysis to identify the vacation package best for them.

Since joining the industry I have obtained a large number of cruise certifications with various cruise lines as well as sailing on multiple lines myself including Princess, Celebrity, Holland America, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and Carnival. I have a very good feel for the various brands, the pros and cons of each line and how to find my clients the best possible value based on their needs.

Cruises aside, I have also travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean experiencing multiple luxury All Inclusive brands in the "big 4" (Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba and Jamaica) and I also toured southern Europe with my wife back in 2017. I have a good feel for quality vs cost and I am able to bring years of travel experience to fore to ensure my clients find what travel experience is going to be a good fit.

Overall I live by the mantra that my job is not to tell clients where they need to go or what they need to do, but rather to act as a facilitator on their journey. It's all about helping my clients choose wisely, informed by somebody who acts as guide and advocate on what can be a confusing process. This means clients know that when working with me they are going to get the honest truth from somebody who has been there, experienced it and brings back factual information.
