Ocean Blue and Sand: Disappointing food and frustrating restaurant reservations
We stayed at Ocean Blue & Sand in September 2026. I booked it because I had an excellent stay at Ocean Eden Bay in Jamaica earlier this year, and I expected a similar standard from the same brand. Sadly, the two experiences were night and day. Food: This was the biggest letdown. In both the buffet and the à la carte restaurants, food was often served cold, tasted stale, and was bland. The buffet had very few options, and the same limited selection repeated throughout our stay. I also had an upset stomach for most of the trip. Restaurant reservations: Booking the Japanese restaurant and the steakhouse was a daily struggle. We had to get up at 7 a.m. and try again and again just to get a table, as availability was always very limited. Yet when we finally got in, there were often plenty of empty tables, which made the whole system feel pointless. If food matters to you on an all-inclusive vacation, I'd look elsewhere. If you do book here, be ready to line up for reservations first thing every morning. The pools were nice and often clean; however, the beach was borderline unusable. There was a lot of seaweed, and the water didn't feel clean.

Ocean Coral Spring: Great for Families
Resort was beautifully lots to do for kids and families. There are opportunities for improvement such as towels and tubes for the lazy river not being available. Also lifeguards do not enforce rules and the pools could be cleaner. Otherwise family lounge, bowling, cafe and restaurants were great and the staff for the most part were friendly and helpful.

Ocean Coral Spring: Nice resort
Ocean Coral Springs hotel is a nice resort with lots of friendly and accommodating staff’s from front desk, bellman, grounds keeper, entertainments and other areas. I found out that the food was good but Jamaicans who travel and returned was not treated with a smile like the white people and that’s a shame. Checking was amazing from start to finished.

Ocean Coral Spring: Location of the Ocean Coral Springs resort is far from the city.
What i really liked about the Ocean Coral Springs, the beach is right on the property. The grounds are kept lovely but other things Really needs improvement, some of their staffs needs customer service training. The tables and chairs needs to, update. Most of the tables are wobbly and the plastics on the chairs are peeling off, also. The small fridge inside the room wasn't working at all , the bottle water felt like room temperature water, also the scale to weight ,wasn't even working at all , the lights on both bed frames, only one light was working. I was extremely disappointed in the conditions of the room, the windows curtains was so dirty.

Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Great experience at Ocean Allure
We had a great experience at Ocean Allure. We have stayed in Costa Mujeres before at a family resort, but this adults-only resort felt like a much better value for the money at a similar price point. We booked the Prestige package because I was concerned about dinner reservations since there is no dinner buffet. However, the resort seemed to be operating at about 60% capacity, so we had no issues getting into any of the à la carte restaurants. But we probably could have booked the regular package and enjoyed the resort just as much. The food and drinks were excellent. The breakfast and lunch buffets offered a wide variety of options, with hot food that was actually served hot and tasted great. There was a nice mix of local Mexican dishes and more traditional European-style selections. The à la carte restaurants were outstanding. You could order lobster and high-quality steaks at most of them, which was a pleasant surprise. The alcohol selection was excellent, even with the regular package. Each bar had its own signature drink menu, which made it fun to try something different. Of course, the bartenders were also happy to make or customize any drink you wanted. The beach bar had a great selection as well. There was some seaweed along the shore and in the ocean, but it wasn't nearly as bad as in other parts of the Riviera Maya, so we were still able to enjoy swimming in the ocean. The pools were beautiful. During the summer they were naturally quite warm, but the large activity pool had the most comfortable water temperature. As Prestige guests, we received a complimentary one-hour visit to the spa, where we enjoyed the sauna and hydrotherapy circuit. It was a wonderful experience. You can also book massages, and Canadian guests can request a receipt to submit to their insurance provider, as the therapists are RMT registered. Every employee we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly hardworking. The resort was kept spotless, and we frequently saw managers walking around with staff, making sure everything was well maintained and addressing even the smallest issues. This isn't a large party resort, but there are plenty of activities during both the day and the evening, making it a great choice for both younger and older adults. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return in the fall!

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Poor Service and Frustrating Experience
We travelled as a group of 10 (7 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 children), and unfortunately, our experience at Ocean Riviera Paradise was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service was poor. There was no warm welcome, no one to greet us, and no guidance on where to check in or what to expect. We had to carry our own luggage to our rooms, which was especially frustrating since the resort is very large and it was our first visit. Finding our room was difficult, and it was located far from the main areas. The same lack of assistance happened when we checked out. Even after asking staff about the departure process, we received only brief, one-word answers with no helpful guidance. The resort also appeared to be understaffed. While there were a few friendly employees, most of the staff came across as rude, impatient, and annoyed whenever we asked questions. Customer service was one of the biggest disappointments of our stay. Making reservations for the à la carte restaurants was another frustrating experience. Three restaurants require reservations (two online and one in person), but the online system only allows you to book for the number of guests in your room. Since we were travelling as a large group, it was nearly impossible to coordinate reservations together. Everyone had to log in and book at exactly the same time, otherwise we couldn't get the same seating. No one explained this process to us—we only figured it out by asking other guests and visiting the restaurants ourselves. To make matters worse, reservations can only be made between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for dinner on the same day, making it feel like a daily mission just to eat together. Of the three restaurants requiring reservations, only the Italian restaurant was worth the effort. The steakhouse and Japanese restaurant were both overrated. The resort offered plenty of activities for younger children, but very little for teenagers. My 13-year-old son quickly became bored because of the many restrictions. He wasn't allowed to use the gym or ride the mechanical bull, and the bowling alley had long wait times because only 3 of the 6 lanes were working. The games room had outdated equipment, several machines didn't work properly, and there was very little variety. For a resort that advertises itself as family-friendly, it did not provide enough entertainment for older kids and teens. Another disappointment was the beach. During our stay, it was covered with a significant amount of seaweed, making it much less enjoyable to swim or relax by the ocean. While I understand that seaweed is a natural occurrence and not entirely within the resort's control, it definitely impacted our vacation. If the beach is one of the main reasons you're choosing this resort, I recommend checking the seaweed conditions before booking. The most disappointing part of our trip happened through the resort's excursion desk. Our excursion package included a complimentary shopping tour that stopped at a jewelry store and a tequila shop. I strongly recommend that anyone purchasing tequila there inspect the bottles carefully before leaving. We purchased two bottles of tequila, but the cashier wrapped them while we were still browsing the store, so we didn't have an opportunity to examine them. When we returned home, we discovered that both bottles appeared to be counterfeit. We immediately contacted the resort's tour representative, who told us he would speak with the store and get back to us. Unfortunately, we never heard from him again. Since we made the purchase the day before our departure, we didn't have enough time to return to the store and resolve the issue ourselves. This experience left a very negative impression and added to an already disappointing vacation. The resort itself was large, clean, and well-maintained, which is one of the few positives I can mention. However, the poor customer service, confusing restaurant reservation system, lack of activities for teenagers, beach conditions during our stay, and unresolved issue with the shopping tour overshadowed the entire experience. This was my fourth resort visit in Mexico, and unfortunately, it was by far the most disappointing. I would not recommend Ocean Riviera Paradise, especially for large families or groups travelling together.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: The worst resort experience we've had
The resort in it's current state should not be welcoming travellers. They have hygiene issues causing food poisoning. They also let sargassum rot on the beach causing an unbearable smell all over the resort.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great time
This was our first visit to this resort. Certainly, it will not be our last. I would not rate it as a five-star hotel. Solid four would be a better rating for me. Check- in was easy and quick. We needed a wheelchair, and they contacted the company for us; it arrived within the hour. This was our first time renting one, and it was well worth the money. Even though the resort was on a sight incline, it was not hard to get around, and the trolley drivers went out of their way to help. The only spot we found not accessible were the stores along the main walkway. We had a swim-out room in the El Beso area. We were first assigned to building four, but mid-week we moved to building one when our section relocated. This change made things much easier with the wheelchair, as building one was much closer to the buffet and main area. The rooms were bright, and the fridge was stocked and cleaned spotlessly each day. We skipped specialty restaurants by choice. Loved the buffet's wide variety, though food was sometimes only warm or cold. Service was disorganized; we never knew our server. The ice cream and coffee shops were delicious—they became regular stops. Room service was great. Enjoyed the El Beso snack bar and visited often. The swim-up pools were lovely. It was amazing stepping out the door and just walking into the pool. It stayed at 90 degrees the whole time we were there. A warning, the sun is extreme in June. Even with constantly reapplying sunscreen, we still burned. There were always activities happening at the pools. I am not a music person, but I found it not loud and dancing to the beat. Lots of variety of entertainment in the main area. Always had people chatting and singing. Enjoyed watching the little ones having fun too. There were some great activities for them. We did not stay at the beach. I could smell the sargassum if the wind was in the right direction, but it did not impact our holiday. Kudos to the staff who work relentlessly to try to keep it clean. It’s a never-ending battle. It was heartbreaking to see the amount of sargassum floating in the ocean from the plane. The worst I have seen. Seen lots of animals. We were lucky and saw the monkeys on the first day. The wildlife was not overwhelming as some of the other resorts we have been to. I think this is partly due to the patrons not bringing food to the poolside, as I have seen in other places. People still feed the animals even though there is signage everywhere. All in all, it was a lovely holiday. Met lots of wonderful people from around the world. Some first-timers and others who have visited several times. We are planning to come back. Thanks for a great holiday.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Amazing Resort
We booked a Privilege Jr. Suite for our 40th wedding anniversary. Our butler, Lilyann was amazing and Miguel at the beach. They catered to our every need. Food was delicious and our room was very nice. Would go back in a heartbeat. Loved the privilege beach area, the only down side was the sargassum in the water and on shore. Unfortunately it was that time of year and there was nothing the resort could do about it. There was a big infinity pool at the beach so we could swim there.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Perfect all around!
I stayed at the Ocean Blue and Sand once before about 8 years ago and my friend who I travelled with has been there 19 times. This is a very clean and friendly place to stay. They have renovated their rooms and are continually working to keep it fresh. The staff are so welcoming and many are still there15 years later. Especially enjoyed Mike’s Cafe where we met Benjamin and Christopher for our evening cappuccino. This Hotel is small and warm, compared to other resorts we have been to that are too large and not as friendly.

Ocean El Faro: A good hotel!
Check in was quick and easy (but we were the only ones at the time). Everyone who worked there did a great job, people were friendly. Kids loved Jelly's kid club, the water park and the lazy river. Bring your own tubes or wait in line for a bit. Kids are picky eaters most meals they were able to find something, if not we went to Mike's Cafe and they were able to get yogurt and sandwiches. First resort that I found the a la cartes bland and nothing to write home about. I did like that there were 3 you had to book a head if time and the rest you could just go to whenever, the cons of that were some restaurants were closed on certain days. Using the barcode they provide can help you plan meals accordingly thou. We much preferred the buffet to the a la cartes (this would not be typical for any hotel I've ever gone to). We were unable to go to the ocean because of the sea grass so that was a bummer. Would I go back to this hotel? Nothing draws me back or away to be honest. I probably wouldn't choose to go back just so I could go to other resorts, but nothing happened that wouldn't make me want to go back.

Ocean El Faro: Good but not great
Had issue with the room assigned to us for the first 3 days of our trip and then finally got the room which was included in our package. Didn't like the attitude from front desk when I initially brought to their attention about the room. If you are beach lover this is not your resort. They have nice short lazy river and many pools. Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Mostly fantastic!
My mother and I went for 11 days in May and found this hotel had some great qualities. Clean, good sized rooms with comfy beds and only 25 minutes from the airport. A good sized hotel, spread out but walkable and they have elevators so for people with mobility issues it's great! The entertainment was decent and there were always clean towels in the rooms and at the pool. The games room and bowling was a nice plus (open daily 3-11, operating on a first come, first served basis). All of the lobby servers/bartenders were top-notch! I have food allergies and the staff at guest services (Sergio and Estrella) were great. They helped me navigate all of the buffets and restaurants so that I didnt have to worry about having a reaction. My only complaints are that the pools could be kept much cleaner and the raccoons are a major hindrance, I would watch out if you have small children as they will climb right up on them, the raccoons are everywhere after dusk. The beach is also a bit small/skinny and there was sargassum which wasn't too bad while we were there, but we're not beach people so it was fine. Would still return for a good price. Thanks to Tammy Beamish at TC for this holiday.

Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Awesome experience Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres (5 stars!)
Our last-minute trip turned out to be the perfect 3 days and 3 nights getaway for my partner and me at Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres. First Impressions: The lobby looked and smelled incredible, which immediately set the tone for a relaxing stay. We were welcomed with mocktails, which was a really nice touch. The only downside was the immediate upselling during check-in - staff strongly encouraged us to upgrade to Prestige/Premium packages and pushed a breakfast discussion even after we politely declined. Aside from that, the check-in process itself was smooth and efficient. Food: All-inclusive resorts sometimes get a bad reputation for food, but we were pleasantly surprised. Buffet Los Corales offered a wide variety of fresh and flavorful options for breakfast and lunch - definitely check out the fresh fruit section! The coffee shop also became part of our daily routine thanks to the friendly staff and excellent lattes. The à la carte restaurants were overall very good. Our favorite was Margarita for Mexican cuisine, while the Steak House was another standout. Our least favorite experience was at La Locanda (Italian), where we encountered an unusually rude server who incorrectly claimed ginger ale was only included with a Premium package. The risotto there was also meh. Suites: We booked an ocean-view suite, and it was beautifully decorated, spacious, and very clean. The only issue we experienced was inconsistent hot water regulation in our room. A very minor nitpick, but the towels and robes felt rougher than expected for a 5-star resort. Resort Amenities: Although we didn’t participate much in the resort programming, we thoroughly enjoyed the lazy river and swim-up pool bar service. The oceanside loungers and furniture also felt clean and well-maintained. Verdict: Highly recommend! It was our first time visiting Cancun and our first time staying at a 5-star resort, and Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres definitely impressed us.

Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Very nice
The resort is very new so is clean and well maintained for obvious reasons. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Not so sure the Pristige package was worth the extra money. Never ever saw one of our two concierges. Just spoke through messages. The fact that there is no dinner time buffet available thoroughly put me off. When I go on a vacation to get away and relax, I don't want to have to worry about which a la carte I'm eating dinner every day of the week.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Sargassum alert!!!
Has potential but in transition phase. Privelege status isnt worth it, especially rooms. Wouldnt offer room service afternoons?! Our butler was good until last day when we really needed help. Staff at pool are simply amazing and work hard very consistently Buffet staff good mostly but some are just looking for tips and then provide service. Room cleanliness is very poor. Door was not sealed and a/c failed and wasn't fixed. Beach sargassum was out of control and resorts are not responsible...city is and efforts are futile.

I loved the resort! Felt like I was in Europe. The entertainment and staff 10/10. The rooms cleaned and kept in order daily. The special order of balloons for my friend’s birthday done beautifully and she was totally surprised. Shout out to Javier for his assistance and patience. Food and serving buffets awesome too, one thing I was disappointed in was no single serving container yogurts. Severs amazing and happy ? . Beach front the best, water shallow and really warm, disappointed having to get up at 5.30 to get an umbrella. Mikes coffee shop the best! Disappointed in the cocktail drinks, I’ve had better; there was an after taste in almost every one k tried so I stuck to water/beer or coffee. Loved the spa too! El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Amazing resort
This resort was spectacular. The experience from checking in to checking out as perfect. The grounds were so impeccable and they worked on them daily. So clean and well kept. The rooms were 5 star with a living room suite. We were on the ground floor with a pool view. The staff came daily and cleaned & made up, replenished the fridge. So wonderful. There were 2 buffets for breakfast, 1 for families which was Ocean El Faro and 1 for adults which was El Beso. We went to the family one the first day we were there and it was busier with children & families. We then went to the adult on from then on. The family one was ok, lots of choices and the food was fantastic. The adult breakfast was a lot quieter & the food was fantastic with a beach view. So so lovely. The resort had many trolley's to bring you all around the resort. It saved me & my sister a lot as we are both not able to walk so great any more. As far as I could tell, the El Faro had many water parks for the kids to play at. The El Beso had 2 huge pools for adults only. Was so relaxing. They were all far away from each other, so not to hear the kids. Was great. The beach area looked lovely, but again not being able to walk so great, we did not go on the beach at all. Was lovely to see and hear the waves though. There are many restaurants to pick from which were all fantastic. There was a sports bar that we watched 2 Habs games at. Was great that they had 2 huge TV's showing the games. One of the most enjoyable vacations I have had. We are already planning our next trip. I would recomend either hotel Adult or Family to anyone. I have no complaints at all about this vacation.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Not Impressed!
⭐ Resort Review – El Besso Adult Overall Rating: 1/5 – Would Not Recommend ? Location – 3/5 The location itself was fine. Easy enough to get around, but nothing exceptional. ? Atmosphere – 3/5 General atmosphere was just okay. Nothing particularly welcoming or memorable. ?️ Rooms – 1/5 The rooms were the biggest disappointment. Very dated and poorly maintained Loose wall sockets and non‑functional AC Extremely dirty AC vents, clearly not cleaned in a long time Had to request a deep clean upon arrival Floors not swept, towels not replaced, and requests for facecloths ignored Shower head falling off, doors not staying closed Dirty couch and curtains Overall, the room conditions felt neglected and unhygienic. ?️ Food & Restaurants – Very Inconsistent A la Carte Restaurants – Mostly Poor Service was slow or unfriendly, and food was often overcooked or burnt Japanese: Poor quality, burnt food, minimal entertainment, and even broken glass left on the floor Steakhouse: Cold food, overcooked steak, lack of service, and staff arguing near our table; again broken glass left on the floor Route 66: Burnt food, burger charred through, fried pickle inedible, milkshakes were just flavored milk, and tables were dirty Mexican: One of the few bright spots — good service and good food Buffets Main buffet: Good at lunch, but dinner felt like leftovers Ocean breakfast buffet: Excellent — clean, friendly staff, and plenty of fresh options ? Pools & Lazy River Lazy river: Okay, but several sections weren’t working Pools: Clearly in need of updating or replacement Pool bars: Surprisingly good — staff here were excellent ?️ Beach Loved the public section of the beach — clean, relaxing, and enjoyable. ❌ Overall Impression Despite a few positive moments, the resort suffers from poor maintenance, inconsistent food quality, unfriendly service, and serious cleanliness issues. The room conditions alone were unacceptable. Bottom line: I would not recommend this resort and would not return.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Go elsewhere
This resort looks nice on the surface, but a lot issues when it comes to cleanliness of the rooms, maintenance of the resort and overall customer service. We ended up moving to 3 different rooms over the course of our stay to multiple different issues in the rooms- rather it be a leak in the roof, broken air conditioner or no hot water. If there is a problem in the evening they will not send anyone to help you. For a resort that was build in 2018 it looks as if it hasn’t been upkept in years and are simply getting by through patchwork. The lagoon at this resort is a plus to the beach- although not owned by the resort it offers a sheltered place to enjoy the beach without being in open water. If you value your vacation time and don’t want headaches I would go elsewhere- we enjoyed maybe 4 days out of our 14 without having to deal with problems.

There are people at the beginning stating their your concierge for the week, but they just try to get you to a time share and you never see them again. They book 1 restaurant, give you a coupon for 20min massage and a little bottle of alcohol so you go to this weird time share at the tower. That was not enjoyable and the pressure is a lot. We were not booked side by side rooms although requested. The resort is about 1 hour away from airport. The rooms smell a bit mouldy. The tiles are nice. I like the reusable cups at pools and beach, plus the waiter services. Lazy river was the best feature. The little splash pool for kids was fun. The weird pool dance off was too sexual and felt more like a strip club. The buffet had a lot of options but we got sick. Hit or miss with taste. Same with the private restaurants. The steakhouse didn't work on app. The cafe was nice, same with the burger shack. The beach is rocky, but i like wild beaches. No point in bringing snorkel gear. Good sunrises.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: A good option for a stay in Punta Cana
Some suggestions. Avoid the "orientation" or "tour" at all costs to become a "Privileged" guest...huge marketing push. Restaurants are nice - reserved ones no nicer and hard to book after 8 a.m. when you can start to book, buffet has something for everyone - even fussy eaters - items well marked. Adult only side lovely but the issue of getting a lounger - ugh - no better or no worse than other resorts. The resort could do a better job of monitoring who is using the Adult Only side...regularly saw people with bracelets for the El Faro side on the adult only side (which then takes away from those who booked and paid to use it). On the El Faro side (family resort side) lots to do for families. An hour from the airport...beach is always on red flag, not a walkers beach area. They are always walking around the pool trying to sell excursions and spas...but if you don't engage with them they keep walking. There are no other resorts in this area and it is not close to a town if this is something you wish to do. For those with mobility issues there are a few touches... they have a tram (train) going through the resort all the time, on the El Beso side the buildings are 3 stories and do have an elevator - some ramps but I wouldn't call it fully accessible but a good effort.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Wonderful
My trip. Beginning to end. Was flawless. The resort, fun engaging and ao so much to explore. The food 10 / 10 My room. The air conditioning cold. Showers hot+! Fridge stocked and room tidied daily. I left a tip in the fridge and for the maid on the dresser with a note. Service was excellent ? Especially around hosting families and kids♡ The gardens are beautiful! Everything so beautifully kept. I was not in Daisey building. But my friends had no complaints being closer to the water park! The beach at the moment was hit or miss based off of sargassam sea weeds. The workers cleared it day in and day out. Highly recommend this resort!

Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Ways to go until its five star
My best friend and I just got back from this resort and its definitely not five stars. The five stars are coming from people reviewing certain employees like a bartender or a pool server or a waiter definitely not from the resort itself. When we first arrived we were excited and decided to upgrade to a swimup room then later that night we realized we payed almost three times what it would of been if we had done it online. The price was actually 65 more than the privilege swimup room. We went to the management team i do recall the one persons name which is Ramone and he just basically said it was what it was. We just wanted what we payed for but he offered us no compensation whatsoever. I told him we would warn everybody we met there and were going to rate them a one star he said yes thats fine. That was a really crappy way to start our vacation feeling we got ripped off. We went to the buffet three times had to wait extremely long for someone to pour us water and take our drink order. The food was totally a hit and a miss the Mexican restaurant was good and we liked the hibachi one. It took us about three or four days in to find anyone who was able to switch or large Mexican pesos for smaller denominations so it made it hard to tip. There were some employees who made our trip somewhat enjoyable and that was our pool server Betina and two restaurant servers Carlos and Reuben and biggest shout out to Christopher our concierge who went out of his way to help us out when needed. Would we go back to an h10 resort by the way we were treated by the front desk manager I highly doubt it.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Great Family Vacation
This resort is great for families. Party of 9. Great service all around. Buffet was awesome. Al a cartes could be much better. Ocean burger great for a quick lunch. Drinks were good and a great selection. Mike’s coffee is great but, be prepared to wait and service is slow. There is soft serve ice cream at ocean burger. Ice cream parlour outside the buffet has a great selection. Cotton candy available by the bowling alley. Kids loved it. Grounds are clean and beautiful. Pools are refreshing and kept clean. Lazy river very chill. Bring a floatie. There is a trolley which comes around all day which is great as the resort is big and beneficial for those who can not walk long distances. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had no issues. Oceans is beautiful but red flag everyday except one. We still enjoyed it. There are many rocks. Lagoon was nice and calm as there were a few people who can not swim and went into the lagoon and enjoyed it as they felt safe. Bowling alley and family lounge was great. The kids really enjoyed them. Nightly entertainment hit and miss. Some nights were good and others not so good. The kids night shows are on too late for them to enjoy. Transfer to a from the airport no issues. Services at airport was quick. Resort over all could use some repairs just like other resorts. Not enough to complain about as we had no issues. More pros than cons. Would definitely recommend this resort for families. Mike

This is a lovely resort. We upgraded to the privilege and the food was outstanding. We loved our accommodations which were so quiet. We have now been here 4x and recommend it. The only downside was there was not much effort to clear the sargassum therefore it was over two feet high and fermenting.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Disappointing!
The food situation is extremely frustrating. You are not allowed to take food out anywhere. You can only get a few fried items on the takeout menu. We were there with the baby and it was extremely difficult to eat when we wanted to. We had to constantly eat the same thing because babies aren’t always able to go into restaurants. Very frustrating!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Beautiful resort!!!
The resort is beautiful!!! It has 10 3-store buildings. We had a pool view room on the third floor. The room is very comfortable and clean with the balcony. There are 2 nice pools - you have to occupy the lounger there early in the morning. The same on the beach - the beach area is small for this large resort. The longers under umbrella on the beach are limited and are very closed to each other. The ocean is beautiful!!! It was a bit wavy during our stay but it's so beatiful. The food/bars are very good. There are transfer cars driving you around the resort - very convinient if you are tired and do not want to walk. However, the walking around is also very good - everything is not too far. We liked the coffe shop there - amazing cappuchino. There is flamingo Pinky lives there on the green area -it was amazing to see her every day sleeping or awake. We had to leave at 4 in the morning - a day before that I have asked in the Guest service if they can provide the car to get to the lobby and they did. Overall the service is great!!! Thanks Katheryna (tripcentral agent ) - she suggested us to go to this resort.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great resort!
From the moment we arrived in the vast and luxurious lobby, to the moment we left, the service at Ocean Coral and Turquesa was top notch. We had a great experience at checkin while being offered drinks from the bar (alcoholic or nonalcoholic), the valet showed us to our room and carried our bags. Since we arrived late we were exhausted, after appreciating our extremely clean room, we fell into a very comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The next morning all was bright and sunny and already about 28 degrees. All ready for the pool we had breakfast and proceeded to the Pool. We are typically beach people, however the sargassum sure was making certain that was not possible. However that was to no fault of the hotel, so we became pool people! And we are so happy we did! This hotel pays attention to everything! Staff would see you in a hallway and ask if all was well, could they do anything. Like, just because. Throw in the number of restaurants and bars, amenities, activities and you never have to leave the resort. But you will want to with all of the excursions available! All in all, I would give this resort a thumbs up, 5-Stars, and a high recommendation.

I just returned from a 2 week vacation at Ocean El Faro El Beso resort in Punta Cana. The resort was absolutely fantastic! There was so much selection for meals and everyone was great! A coffee shop with sandwiches and fresh baked goods, smoothies, fruit drinks. An adults only restaurant at the beach with buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner. French,Italian and Japanese restaurants. The entire resort was immaculate. The staff even wiped down the chair legs in the lobbies every evening! Multiple swimming pools, a lazy river with a bar in the middle! Kids mini Waterpark. Great shows. Beautiful piano bar open for quiet moments open every evening. I can't wait to go back!! El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Great spot for a sister trip!
We chose this resort because it fit our budget for a 4-night getaway and we were impressed by the aesthetics captured in photos, as well as the adult-only option. We arrived at the resort for check-in just before midnight, and although we were assigned a room with 1 king bed, Luis working the front desk at the time, was able to give us a room with 2 queen beds instead, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the mini fridge was empty upon our arrival (likely because we weren't supposed to have the room) and it took a while for us to receive water any time we called the desk for refill, but aside from that, we were happy with the room itself. There was a bit of wear and tear, but it didn't bother us. The AC unit in the room is fairly loud but for anyone who doesn't mind a little white noise, it's fine. Because it's a smaller resort, you have to be up and out early to grab beach chairs and bali beds by the pool, or anything with an umbrella. There is a section of beach that has soft sand, great for swimming, but it's quite rocky elsewhere. It's a public beach so there are vendors milling about that can be bothersome (but out of the resort's control). The process for making reservations at the a la carte restaurants was a bit stressful, as the booking feature within their app opens every day at 8am for the same day - you cannot make reservations in advance. I had to be ready to press "reserve" right as the clock struck 8am, and that may be an issue for those that like to sleep in. We enjoyed Pez Dama for dinner the most, but our servers - Olga at Dolce Vita and Leonel at the Steakhouse - were awesome. We mainly stuck to Aperol Spritz and mamajuana shots during the trip and appreciated the wonderful service from Franklin and the lovely lady with the light eyes (I forgot to write down her name!) at the adults-only pool, and Elizabeth at the main lobby bar. When we were making arrangements to leave the resort for our flight home, which was very early in the morning, Francisco at the main lobby front desk was so kind and helpful. My sister and I wanted somewhere we could hang out, veg, swim, tan, nap, eat and basically do nothing else - El Beso at Ocean El Faro delivered!

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Where are all the loungers?
Lots of good things but also a few problems...including a severe shortage of loungers at the beach and the pool. Lots of space to add more so not sure why the space is not being utilized. The lack of loungers really brought out the worst in people. Changed the vibe of vacation. For this reason I would probably not recommend El Beso. Other issues; next to impossible to book a reservation at al a carte restaurant unless you have Privilege package. Tried on the app everyday at 8am and only 530 or 930 available. Plus no where at El Beso to get a good coffee first thing in the morning! Lobby bar doesn't serve until 830. Mikes too far and the lineup is INSANE. Otherwise layout is great. Easy to walk most places. Resort clean. Staff friendly. Beach bar is lovely. Beach rocky but lagoon is steps away and excellent for swimming. Warm and water is calm. Ground floor rooms are quite nice with walkout to pool.

Upper management a little more friendly to guests. When something happens at resort they should do something about it. Ocean Blue and Sand: Excellent Resort
This was an excellent resort and I would book here again. The grounds were really clean and well kept, the rooms were very nice with a large patio and also very clean. The guest staff were exceptional good especially Guillermo at guest services desk. When we first arrived our room only had a king bed a pull out couch and we requested two queen beds so Guillermo was great and switched our room the very next day to the ground floor pool view with two queen beds. Our luggage was moved with no problem by the staff and brought into our new room. The restaurants were superior and the food was excellent. There is only a few things that we would like to see changed is more entertainment with a updated agenda of entertainment events within the week you stay there that is provided to you once you check in and no towel cards were provided upon check in either as we had to ask. Check in time was too late in the day and there were no ashtrays in the room provided as you had to request that. The gift shops were very good but the staff kept changing the prices from what was marked on the shelf to when you got to the till the price increased especially one lady with long black hair it was like she was trying to make a profit off of everything you bought as she increased the price to what was marked. Need new staff in gift shops that don't rip you off and give you the price that is listed on the shelf. Awesome resort!!!

Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Recent visit to Oceans Allure Costa Mujeres
This resort is fairly new so maybe some kinks are still being worked out, however my biggest disappointment were the restaurants. Firstly the buffet was not available for dinner. The a la carte restaurants were very busy, causing wait times no matter what time you went there.Once inside the servers were run off their feet, to the point where they were unable to provide proper service to their customers. This made for an unenjoyable dining experience.Another point I want to make about the food is the quality of the various dishes is very poor and the size of the portions is very small particularly the Tappenaki Restaurant, the was ridiculously small. Aside from that the grounds of the resort were tidy, however near the pool areas there were not enough washrooms.

Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Ocean Allure
The hotel needs to decide what it wants to be. It went from foam parties to an events coordinator screaming aggressively coming to the privilege pool screaming “wakey wakey” trying to get guests that are relaxing to come over to the main pool. It was so offensive. We paid over $8,000 to be there. We assumed at an adults only resort it would be more cultured. The hotel vibe was like a 3 star party hotel. The beach is not very good either. It’s very narrow, lots of seaweed that they don’t clean unlike secrets next door which had a tractor out daily cleaning the beach. And the bathrooms on the resort. It’s shocking that it passed code. There are 3 large pools and no kidding, 3 bathrooms with 3 stalls in each. So that’s 9 toilet stalls for a hotel that occupies 600 guests. How is that sanitary? The food was somewhat hit and miss. Most of it was good quality but it was ruined by a horrible fake butter taste on everything. They use soya oil. That’s all I could taste in the food whether it was the mashed potatoes, baked good etc. They make a delicious lobster tail on top it with fake butter. What a waste! We booked a Master Oceanfront privilege suite. The top level. The butlers were useless. They didn’t get to know us at all. It was the basic daily text. Nothing personal about it. Just a blanket text of the hotels daily activities. Our room apparently because of its location took 15 minutes to get hot water. The room was clean and beautiful otherwise. And the worst part…. Is the pushing of timeshare. Disgusting. As soon as you come in they hand you over to someone who pretends they are there to make your experience better. They invite you to breakfast so that they can get you to listen to a 4 hour sales pitch to buy into their ridiculously overpriced timeshare scam. There were 4 Canadian couples that were fed a bunch of alcohol and then convinced to buy into the program. I ended up meeting them and they were so stressed about buying into the program. I informed them there was a 5 day cool off period. All of them then cancelled with clear minds. It was so disgusting I would NEVER recommend this resort. There are way better places to go to in the Cancún area for a much better price and service.

Ocean Coral Spring: Great Resort - Small but has everything
Our visit started off rocky when we paid for a Ocean view room and were asked to wait until after 3:00 to check in (totally fine) but once we got into the room it was overlooking a junkyard with the ocean in the back. The room itself had broken off doors and the safe did not work / locked our items inside. We left to go to dinner and speak with front desk about these issues and upon our return we noticed that our room had been turned down but the door was left open, leaving all our stuff vulnerable. After reporting to staff at the front desk again (who were incredibly hostile) we were told they would find us another room after we repeatedly asked to change, to any type of room. We just wanted to feel safe. They kept repeating they would change us the following day after rooms had been cleaned after check out. Instead, they called our room at 11:00PM when we were sleeping and told us the call was being recorded and that they had offered us a room and we were declining. I repeatedly told them we were not declining, but that we would move first thing in the morning as the other guests were asleep after a long day of travel. The next morning we went back to front desk and new staff were super kind and helpful and got us the promised room. We were able to move over. After that the trip went smoothly and we really enjoyed the resort, which is on the smaller side, and all it had to offer. Gorgeous place but our time was tainted but the initial check in day which was wasted just trying to get some help with the various issues with our room and staffs hostility.

Ocean El Faro has a very impressive main lobby and beautiful suites. The pools and lazy river are very good. However the food in the a la carte restaurants leaves a lot to be desired, e.g. I ordered apple tarte tatin in the Blue Moon and the seeds and core were still attached to the baked apple segment and the puff pastry was flat. Service is very slow overall but housekeeping was good. The beach is very rocky and there's always a red flag which is normal in this area. However there is a tranquil bay just north of the hotel which is good for swimming.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Different vibe - quieter, more relaxing
Resort was nice. Small compared with the big hotels. It looks more like a small village, with all the restaurants side by side, and the little shops, the building for indoor games (bowling, pool table, ping pong, board games etc ...). Beach area is nice too and you can swim without the need of water shoes. Service is very good, whether at the bar or main office. I will go there again. Now, for the not so good part (it's just me being picky). I would pick a different room location. We had a "garden view" and the only garden we got was some bushes, but the worst is it backed onto a service road. Pretty hard if you want a lazy morning in your room. Also, it seemed that our room was due for a pesticide control. We only learned about it when we were all unpacked. Better planning next time? Food is very decent at the buffet, with a large variety. Not very impressed with the specialty restaurants though. I also think think they can do a better job at the buffet to clean and set up the tables. .

Ocean Riviera Paradise: There Are Better Resorts
It's a small resort and for the waterpark, only children are allowed there. It's really nice and accommodating for children. If you want to book for a dinner, you better upgrade to privilege because it's hard to get a booking. It is done daily at 8:30AM but by the time you try to book it, it's either fully booked or it's really late. You get pulled into a timeshare and they make you feel really guilty about not getting it but luckily you have a 5 day grace period where you get your deposit back. They say it will take 30 minutes but in reality, it takes 4-5 hours! Also the massage coupon is only for 20 minutes when they say it's for an hour! The massage is not even good! The food is decent; the buffet was the best restaurant. For the seafood restaurant, it is really disappointing and also the privilege dinner steak is awful. So upgrade to privilege for a day if you cannot book the steakhouse restaurant. Also, be aware that the restaurants are closed on random days.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: March 22-29, 2026
Our family stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise from March 22–29, 2026. We traveled with our two young children (ages 5 and 2), so our experience was a bit different than adults traveling alone, particularly since our evenings tended to end early. Overall, we had a very positive stay. The staff throughout the resort were exceptionally friendly and helpful. No matter where we went, we were consistently greeted with smiles and kindness. It’s clear the staff work very hard to make guests feel welcome. The main buffet was excellent, both in variety and quality. The selection was impressive and seemed to change regularly from day to day, which kept meals interesting throughout the week. I would rate the buffet 10/10 for variety and about 9/10 for taste overall. One small improvement could be the availability of bowls and serving spoons during busy periods. These items were sometimes used up quickly, and it could take 5–10 minutes for them to be replenished. We also visited a couple of the à la carte restaurants. At the Italian restaurant, the service was again extremely friendly and welcoming. The menu was fairly standard for resort Italian dining, and the food we ordered was good overall — I would rate it about 8/10. We also dined once at the steakhouse. The menu offered a great variety, but I had slightly higher expectations for the ribeye steak. While it was still enjoyable, it didn’t quite meet what I was hoping for and I would rate it around 7/10. Unfortunately, during our stay our 2-year-old contracted Hand, foot, and mouth disease. I work in healthcare and know just how contagious this illness can be, especially in environments with many young children. I want to emphasize that I do not blame the resort or staff for this. In fact, we frequently observed staff cleaning throughout the resort. My wife and I were also extremely vigilant — disinfecting our room upon arrival, washing hands frequently, and wiping down high chairs, tables, and utensils at every meal. When you have a resort with this many families and children, illnesses like this can unfortunately happen anywhere. What stood out was how supportive the staff were once we informed them. They went out of their way to help by offering soft foods (off menu) that might be easier for our daughter to eat while she was uncomfortable. Their kindness during that situation meant a lot to us. Another point worth mentioning is the seaweed along the beachfront, something I had read about in other reviews before arriving. It is true that seaweed does accumulate. However, what also deserves recognition is the incredible effort of the beach cleanup crew. We repeatedly saw staff working extremely hard — shoveling seaweed into trailers and hauling it away with ATVs. It’s clearly very labor-intensive work, and they do it constantly because nature keeps bringing more in. Kudos to that team for the effort they put in every day. Personally, I’m not much of a beach person, so it didn’t affect my vacation much, but it’s something travelers should be aware of. Despite our daughter getting sick, we still had a great vacation overall. Our 5-year-old absolutely loved every minute of the trip and had an amazing time all week. In the end, we would definitely consider returning to this resort, whether traveling with our children again or as a couple.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Give it a 4
The resort was beautiful, rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. However we were disappointed in the Adult only El Beso. Most services are on the family side so very little on adult side except for one restaurant, small lobby and one small snack bar under renovation. The Pool was great and the pool bars. Almost impossible to get bar staff attention from outside the pool. They advertise a juice bar on dry side of the pool but no one ever there. Information on activities is very difficult and frustrating to find. We missed most because always found out after the activity had taken place. The party pool was very loud especially when our room was right behind the boom box. The balcony was beautiful but we could not enjoy any sitting or reading between 3 to 6 pm. Which would have been our time to relax after a full morning in the sun, pool and beach. So for adults who want a quiet afternoon, do not stay in building 11. The Piano bar in main lobby was a great surprise which we totally enjoyed. We were disappointed to learn that there were free shuttles available to other Ocean' hotels and gift shops. We only found out on our way back to airport. Only one shop on premises, limited choice and very expensive. The beach was only ok, mostly rocky so not inviting for swimming but to sit, watch and listen to the surf was therapeutic nonetheless. The A la Carte restaurants were a welcomed feature. We did enjoy our week and air Transat was great but I would not give this resort any more than a 4 star. There are many pros with having all services concentrated in one area but lots of cons too. One suggestion would be to add a coffee shop on the Adult side. There is only one coffee shop on the resort and there is a constant line up beginning before opening at 7AM. Definitely better communication re activities and not total reliability on QR codes. Not everyone is able to work this. Thank you. Hope my comments help improve this hotel for future. Ocean Coral Spring: Resort varies between a 1 and 5
Resort fails miserably on check-in, loungers in shaded areas and staffing levels. There is so little shade that you must be prepared to get up at 0430 for a shaded spot (its really a curtain draped over the top of a wood frame). This trip was for our grandkids and for them it was fabulous. Great pool, great food variety and wonderful entertainment staff. Buffet is a nighttime feeding frenzy. They open at 630 which, is far too late for kids. That causes a stampede. Grounds were clean and room was clean. As an adult, I would not return but would happily go back if my grandkids desired. Final note on the customer service extended by Kaylee Toth. She answered all questions, was available if needed and made it an easy booking - outstanding!

Ocean Coral Spring: Great time again
This is our 2nd time vacationing at Ocean Coral Springs. We were there in 2023 and now just last week March 2026. We purchased the Privileged package with an Ocean Front room. My husband and I have been to many resorts over our 39 years together and this was the 1st time we went back a 2nd time and we'll definitely go back again. The food was fantastic everywhere we ate. The staff were very professional and friendly. We were greeted with smiles and well wishes from everyone we met. The grounds and our room were kept clean and safe. The beach is small and rocky so beach shoes are a must and we found it wasn't being kept as clean as the grounds were. The pool is huge and very clean and the lazy river was a blast. Other then that our stay was very relaxing enjoyable.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Our Stay at El Beso
What a wonderful place. There were so many meal options. The staff could not be friendlier. Where we stayed, the music was too loud for most of the day. El Beso is an adults-only complex, but the music was largely geared towards a much younger crowd. On the other hand, El Faso, which was a family resort, had much better music, and there were more options for entertainment and restaurants. I believe the same company owns both resorts, since we had access to both. Mike's coffee is a must for great coffee, good baked goods and just a neat place to hang out. The El Faso lobby was also stunning and a great place to hang out. We also took a couple of tours, thanks to John, who was most helpful in arranging them. We had one issue: our coffee in the room wasn't restocked. Because we like to sit with a coffee before breakfast, we were assured it was on the way. We eventually gave up, walked down to Mike's, and got two coffees. After breakfast, we returned to the room, but there was still no coffee. It did show up later that afternoon, so we had it the following day.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Beautiful resort
Great customer service, great food!!, nice rooms, spacious and clean, beautiful pool areas. The beach was full of sargassum during our stay (March 7-14) and the hotel didn't do much effort to clean it, except one day when there was a wedding and we were able to swim in the ocean. The other days we had to go in the pool or at the next hotel's beach where there was installed a barrier for the sargassum.. Note* when you ask for number of stars below, you put the beach and the pool together, which is not fair. They are completely different and they should be rated separately. Pools 5*. Beach 3*

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Even better than expected
This resort was a nicely laid out resort. We were a group of 4 adults (2 couples) and we really wanted a bit of a combination vacation. We wanted to be able to "join in the fun" and we also wanted to be able to relax and enjoy the sun. We were pleasantly surprised at how well this resort was laid out to easily allow this to happen. We were just regular guests - although we did upgrade to El Beso for a small fee as we wanted to be in building 11. The pool set up is nice. 4 pools - a kids pool that is clearly suited to smaller children. A large and quiet pool that was amazing for relaxing and just "chilling out by the pool". The main "party" pool with the swim up bar was where we ended up most of the time on resort as the bartenders were AMAZING. they remember your name, they welcome you and they made everyone feel welcome and special. I have a lot of stories about the people who we talked to who absolutely loved the bartending teams. Gustavo was my personal favorite - an amazing bartender with a seemingly endless number of drinks he could create! I have read all the reviews about people not getting chairs around the pools and will admit that if you show up at 1PM it can be a challenge. I have been to many resorts and the normal chair reserving happens - it always does and is something you just have to accept at all inclusive resorts. I will say that I was able to get chairs for all 4 of our group every day without any problems - granted - I am an early riser and had my pick each day - but there were still a LOT of open chairs later in the morning. Do not worry about the reviews complaining about no chairs - they are there just liker every other resort. The entertainment staff was GREAT. We didn't spend a lot of time over at the adults pool - but the time we were there was excellent. Same thing about the issues with reservations for the restaurants. they have an app you can log into and it goes live at 10AM. if you want a particular time and restaurant - you need to be ready at 10AM to log in and use the service - it is VERY easy to do. IF you are not good with an app on your phone they have guest services available to help you get your reservation... it is a very nice set up. The food at the restaurants was very good. I am a fan of Japanese food so I loved that restaurant but all of them were very good and had excellent selections. The buffet was very good as well - changing selections, hot and fresh stations, and well organized. One suggestion I have for the management team at the resort is to open Mikes Coffee Shop a little earlier. there was normally a line up and that could have been avoided if they open a bit earlier... but the coffee selection (hot and cold) were excellent as were the cookies, muffins, banana bread and sandwiches! NOTE - If you are looking for Michelin 5* restaurants - this is not it.... they are very good and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but have reasonable expectations of an all inclusive resort and you wont be disappointed. Room we had was room 11304. Recently renovated, great view of garden and ocean, close to amenities, clean and fresh. Again - All you can ask for at a resort. Only reason I rated the beach/pool as a 4 is the beach was nearly unusable due to Sargassum wees and while that is not the resorts fault, it took away from the beach options. Location is about an hour walk (actually a very nice and safe walk) from town and we enjoyed walking around and enjoying some local restaurants. I truly enjoyed the resort.... Staff is amazing - the grounds are well maintained and the whole vacation was a real success

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Good, mid-range resort
The rooms were quite nice, but be aware that requests made in advance (e.g., 2 queen beds instead of a king; swim-up) may not be honoured when you check in. Food was adequate but service was slow. No food/snack options at the beach…a snack cart would be a great addition. The resort does not enforce the no-reserving-chairs or the non-smoking policies. Pool chairs were usually all taken by 7am and beach chairs by 8:30. Overall, the resort seems understaffed

Ocean El Faro: A Beautiful Stay at El Faro Resort in Punta Cana
We had a great stay at El Faro Resort in Punta Cana. The resort itself is beautiful, with well-kept grounds and a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which really added to the overall experience. The restaurants were very good overall. The buffet had a huge variety of food, so there was something for everyone — even picky eaters. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian restaurant, which had excellent meals. The Privilege breakfast was also very nice, with the option to enjoy the buffet or order directly from their menu. Mike’s Coffee was always busy, but it was definitely worth the wait. The coffee and treats there were a great way to start the day or take a quick break in the afternoon. The resort is fairly large, so the trolley service was great to have for getting around easily. We also had WiFi all over the resort, which was very convenient. The lazy river was a lot of fun and something we used often during our stay. Another highlight was feeding the fish in the lagoon — that was a really cool experience. The lagoon area itself was great because it was mostly sandy with very few rocks. One part of the beach was a bit rocky, but it was manageable if you had water shoes. The lagoon definitely made up for that. Nexus also offered a free visit to a local store, which was a nice extra and a good opportunity to pick up souvenirs. We chose not to take part in the timeshare presentation, and the staff were respectful and not pushy when we said no. One tip for visitors: don’t go on the second floor of the lighthouse. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend El Faro Resort to anyone visiting Punta Cana.

Ocean Blue and Sand: LOVED this resort
My husband and I have never stayed at an Ocean signature resort / H10 hotel line and the Ocean Blue and Sand resort did not disappoint. We were very impressed at the location in Punta Cana. It was a great stay and no real complaints that impacted our stay. Food, service, beach, pools, and our room were all fantastic. We appreciate Margaret's support, from TripCentral, who helped us book this last minute getaway!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Nice resort, beautiful beach
Good resort, the rooms are comfortable updated, the bathrooms are large, double sinks, big shower. The à la carte restaurants are nice, good food no reservations necessary except for the steakhouse and japanese. No limit for the number of time you can use the à la carte. The buffet in the morning was a mess. Difficult to find a set up table, slow service. The selection of food is good. Probably could use more staff for the morning rush. The lunch and dinner seemed to run more smoothly. The grounds are nice but dated. Need more plants and flowers to give it this lush tropical look. Lobby and reception are very nice. Beautiful beach but a bit crowded. Need more umbrellas and shade area. Staff is uneven some are nice and friendly others not so much.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Second round was even better
We went to Ocean Blue and Sun last year with the family in the privilege area and it was really good which is why we came back this year. I don’t know if they forgot about us last year or if they’ve added more options to the privilege club because this year we got a Nescafé coffee maker and a regular coffee maker, a beach bag and a toiletry bag with essentials. Harry our butler also helped make this year’s stay even better. Carlos at the beach bar is always a pleasure and Argentina at the buffet made dinner a fun party. The food is always good in all restaurants. Best Mamajuana in the sports bar! The beach is fantastic. Float in the ocean with the gentle waves or walk for an hour in either direction. The sand is perfect. Everything is clean, everywhere. The grounds are maintained immaculately. Super comfy beds and pillows. Like every other resort, they have signs saying no reserving the beach chairs, but everyone does. One morning at 5 AM. We went to check the cabanas and most were all reserved. All the bars were good and the Michael Jackson show was pretty impressive. We really like the piano bar.

Ocean Coral Spring: Ocean Coral Spring
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Coral Spring Resort in Falmouth Jamaica. The rooms were lovely, the food in all the restaurants we went to, was delicious and well presented. The staff were very courteous and knowledgeable. They were quick to ask if anything was needed. The pool and activities kept us busy and moving, the grounds were lovely. We would recommend more ambient lighting on the walkways near the pool area for the evenings. Unfortunately the beach was a little disappointing in that you couldn’t walk the beach long distances and the water was weedy. Staff collected weeds on the beach but it appeared that it might be a never ending battle to keep them at bay. One afternoon we enjoyed the Lazy River. The evening shows were entertaining and very well done. All in all, this resort was amazing and we had a great time, I would strongly recommend this resort to family and friends.

Ocean Coral Spring: Amazing Resort
I loved this resort. The proximity from the rooms to the pool to the bars and restaurants was awesome! You didnt have to walk a mile from your room to get anywhere or pack a bag for the day because the room was so far away. The pool was huge. Lots of bars and restaurants. Everything was very clean. Newer buildings with modern amenities. One of the best parts was "Mikes" coffee shop. Basically a Starbucks for free opened early closed late. Pastries in the morning, snacks for afternoon and night. The lobby was beautiful and had piano players a few of the nights. The buffet was amazing with themed nights. Tons of variety and lots of small extras such as mint at the tea station. Everything was so carefully thought of. Everything was great! Only downfall which we didnt really mind was the beach. It wasnt great but we never spend much time at the beach. I would definitely go back or try a resort under the same brand.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Beautiful Resort
This resort is such a beautiful resort. We were very impressed at how the resort is laid out. The “main strip” is something we have never seen before. Wonderful walkway flanked on either side by restaurants, shopping, fitness gym, bowling alley & many other activities. The restaurants were fantastic & our favourite being the Japanese restaurant Sakura. The “Adults Only” portion of the resort is well laid out. We did find that perhaps the main pool area on the adult side could benefit from new loungers. Many of them were broken. Overall we loved this resort & would definitely make a return visit.

Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Great new Resort.
Stayed Feb 23 - March 4th 2026 Ocean Allure in Costa Mujeres is new facility approx. 1 hr drive from the Cancun airport. Typically with a few drop off's to other resorts along the way. Check in was 10: 30 pm. Since we were the only ones arriving at the time, it was quick and efficient. We were up graded to a swim up first floor room junior suit. Room was clean, well stocked with towels amenities etc. mini fridge stocked everyday...pools we large, clean and temp was ok. Beach was on red flag everyday except one, so was a bit wavey and there was plentiful seaweed in the water and on shore. The sand was clean with no shells or corral/stones as was the walk into ocean. There plentiful beach chairs at both the pools and ocean. lots of umbrellas at pools and palapas at the beach (could be more though as went quick ) beach was long and can walk for as long as you would want and was perfectly safe. there was always entertainment and activities at the two main pools. Bowling and pools tables were fun. we played pickleball on the three courts for the first time and had a lot of fun...there was tennis also available. Food: coffee shop amazing. Bar were plentiful throughout the resort and drinks were good. Morning and lunch buffets were available with food being plentiful and good variety . never had a problem fining something different of good. However at night there was only A la carte available . There was five restaurants (different themes) and only four were open each night as on a rotating days one would close each night. This did create some long waits and travellers getting very upset and angry over waits....it was not an ideal situation and a lot of talk about it during the trip. they missed the boat there defiantly. We did hear they were short staff so hopefully for the resort they open ng the buffet at dinner and alleviate a lot of pressure on the A la cartes. This was our only complaint we could find ....workers were very friendly and more than willing to help with any needs or just to talk. Bottom line..great new resort..dining needs some work

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Nice Resort
We loved the resort, although there were a few areas that were disappointing. Food was average Drinks were ok Room was very humid and our thermostat was not working properly. They came to fix it but it still didn't work. Also our patio door was extremely difficult to open, they came 3 times to fix it but again not well . We were constantly having to ask for towels, facecloths and hand towels, which we got very sparingly. Prices in the gift shop were outrageously expensive.

Ocean Coral Spring: Relaxing!!
Hotel was very clean and beautiful designed. Has a modern feel to it. People are not very social though with the exception of Latoya "sunshine" at the pool bar. Drinks were, very well served and tasty although cold beer ran out quickly. The hotel caters more to tourist with there American foods and lack of authentic Jamaican food at the buffet. A la carte restaurant were the worst things to eat with there lack of choices and taste. Stick to the buffet or the small hut that servers great jerk dishes with rice and coco bread. The hotel should have more chairs for the pool and beach because when the hotel is half full you won't find anywhere to sit. Pool is only 3ft throughout which i gues is good depending who you ask and the beach is full of coral and sea weed so there very small area to actually enjoy in the water. Other than that it was a great stay and better them most hotels I've stayed at in DR or CUBA. A must try!!!!
