Grand Palladium Palace: Great Resort
We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The grounds were always clean and well maintained, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The minibar was consistently restocked, with extra bottled water provided daily. We also appreciated the ice machines conveniently located throughout the resort. The food was very good, and the service was outstanding. We were especially impressed by the quality of service from the staff, who were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. The beach was cleaned daily, towels were always available, and most of the à la carte restaurants were excellent. The Spanish and Italian restaurants were my favorites, and the Japanese restaurant was also very good. One thing to note is that the portion sizes at the restaurants were extremely large. While the food was delicious, many dishes were much bigger than necessary, which resulted in a lot of food being left uneaten and potentially wasted. Areas for Improvement: Argentinian Restaurant: The service was extremely slow. We waited about an hour for our food, and we had to ask for bread and butter while waiting. Boats Near the Beach: There are too many boats traveling back and forth close to the shoreline. They pass frequently, sometimes every few minutes, and the smell of fuel can be noticeable and unpleasant. It would greatly improve the beach experience if the number of boats were reduced or if they operated farther from shore. Overall, this is a fantastic resort with excellent service, great food, and beautiful, well-maintained facilities. I would definitely recommend it and would gladly return.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton
The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton have beautiful grounds and gardens.During our stay at this hotel, the reception suffered major and noisy repairs I got headaches.the black tarp surrounding the large repair area and the grandious stairs took away the beauty of this hotel. We received a good apartment room. However, the bed had a major issue:screeching at each turn, it was hard to rest properly. The Sunset Cove beach we liked: although it supposed to be a quiet area, often noisy groups came in and turn the music loud, some people screaming in the water. There was no shade j afternoon, as the palapas did not have the top to provide it. Moreover, sometimes you could hear the loud noise from construction site hammers nearby. The food was good on the main restaurant. The rest were missing some things, for knstance: lemons were scarce, I had to pay to get 2 lemons. The a la cart restaurants were good, just Poseidon was disappointing, we had a late dinner appointment and all specific dishes were gone, we received basically same dishes as the buffet. As this hotel is renowned for the largest pool in Jamaica, I would recommend it for people enjoying the pool, rather than a quiet beach.

TRS Turquesa: Horrible resort would not recommend it
I would not recommend this resort, the food was cold at buffet restaurant and terrible at the Italian restaurant, the only decent restaurant was the Chinese restaurant where they cook the food in front of you and The Grill restaurant by the pool, the entertainment was boring and pathetic except for the shows that they had in the lobby, the entertainment crew were rude and there white party was a joke which they had at the soccer field, they should have had one at the TRS which was closer for the guests and the MOSQUITOES were terrible they were everywhere even in the rooms, the maids were excellent and very nice, the butlers were useless, Jaime the nice man who drove the carts was a sweetheart and very nice but in general it was a terrible resort

TRS Turquesa: Great Choice!
We spent 2 amazing weeks at this resort from April 25 to May 9, we are a couple in our early 60's, everything about this resort was amazing, food, rooms and service were some of the best we have ever experienced at any of our Caribbean destinations. Our butler Jean was excellent and catered to our every need, Angela and Stephanie at Helios were amazing and always looked after us when we arrived, the bartenders and waitresses were very attentive and always had a smile. Never a long wait for a shuttle and the drivers were always friendly and polite, overall a great experience and we will definitely return.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Super disappointed
My family and I have been visiting the Grand Palladium Riviera Maya for the past 13 years, so it is very disappointing to say how much this resort has gone downhill. We travelled as a group of 12 for a family vacation and unfortunately this was by far our worst experience here. Upon arrival, we found two live cockroaches in our room, which immediately set the tone for the stay. The food was absolutely awful compared to previous years, and the buffet barely changed during the entire 8 days we were there. We were also unable to book à la carte dinners because we were told higher-tier guests could bump our reservations, which was extremely frustrating and unfair. The pools themselves were okay, however the cleanliness was very poor. Garbage left around the pool area from the previous day was often still there the next morning, which showed a lack of proper maintenance and care. The entertainment was also very disappointing and nowhere near the level of other resorts we have visited. There seemed to be very little effort put into activities or evening shows. Another major issue was accessibility. We had requested an accessibility room well in advance due to mobility issues, but upon arrival no accessible room was provided. The washroom contained a bathtub that came up over my knees just to get into, making it extremely difficult and unsafe to use. Overall, I would rate this resort a 2-star experience rather than a 5-star resort. It is very sad to see how far the quality has declined over the years. Sadly, after over a decade of visiting, we would not return.

TRS Yucatan: Exceptional Service
The resort and staff were simply amazing! Very clean and everyone was incredibly friendly. We enjoyed all the à la carte restaurants with a variety of food. The infinity pool and activities were certainly highlights during our stay. The only thing missing was a nice sand beach. If long walks on the beach are non negotiables then this resort is not for you. They aim to please and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay.

Grand Palladium Palace: Great Family Vacation
This was my fourth stay at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana, both with and without children, and I’ve consistently had great experiences on both adults-only and family vacations. This was our second visit with our children (ages 11 and 13), and both times we stayed in the Junior Suite Swim-Up Beachside. We love being able to relax at our room, swim directly from the suite, or easily access nearby pools. The building is also extremely close to the beach—it’s less than a 30-second walk. The staff were friendly, and most spoke English, which made communication easy. The resort is well maintained, and our room was clean. There are many pools and restaurants throughout the property, most of which are conveniently located. We’ve stayed at similarly sized resorts with larger footprints, where getting around was more difficult. While this resort offers trolleys and golf carts, everything we needed in our area was within easy walking distance, even for kids. The resort is divided into four areas: Punta Cana, Palace, Bávaro, and Royal Suites. Royal Suites is adults-only, and guests there can access all areas. The Bávaro section has recently been renovated and is now restricted to Bávaro guests only. While this limited access compared to previous visits, it wasn’t an issue, as the Punta Cana and Palace areas had everything we needed. There is no limit on à la carte restaurant visits, though securing preferred times can be challenging for larger groups. Walk-ins are possible, but we successfully booked through the Palladium app. Our group of 13 was able to secure three à la carte reservations at our preferred times by booking simultaneously, since the app only allows reservations for guests within the same room. The resort offers high-speed Wi Fi throughout most of the property, including much of the beach. This made it easy to stay connected and locate family members when spread out. The grounds are beautifully manicured, and I don’t recall seeing any flies or bugs during our stay. Staff were constantly maintaining the landscaping from morning until evening. The resort also has several gift shops and a pharmacy. We enjoyed the mini golf course and basketball court. There’s also a soccer pitch, tennis and pickleball courts. One evening, we even saw people playing pickleball under the lights around 9 p.m. Since our last visit in 2022, the resort has eliminated room keys and towel cards. Bracelets now unlock rooms and are scanned at buffets and à la carte restaurants, making everything more convenient. We didn’t experience much of the nightlife, as we usually called it a night around 9 p.m. After long days in the sun with kids, we often ended the evening with a quiet swim in our shared swim-up pool. We requested adjacent rooms for our family, which was accommodated, allowing us to share the same pool with minimal outside traffic. Despite the resort being busy, our pool area remained very quiet throughout our seven-night stay. We did notice that many guests reserved pool and beach chairs early in the morning with towels, often leaving them unused for hours. While frustrating, this was a guest behavior issue rather than a resort problem. Food quality was excellent across the resort, with plenty of options for everyone, and no one in our group became ill. Despite some online complaints about food quality, we had no such issues. While there may be higher-end resorts available, the Grand Palladium checks all the boxes for us at a reasonable price. Having stayed at all-inclusive resorts in Cuba, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic, and across various brands, the Palladium Group remains our preferred choice. We flew direct with Sunwing, operated by WestJet. WestJet’s Starlink Wi Fi was a great feature and worked well throughout the flight. Although there were no power outlets on the outbound flight, we were prepared with power banks. The return flight offered USB C outlets and slightly more legroom. We used the included airport transfers for this trip, though we’ve opted for private transfers in the past. In hindsight, a private transfer would have been preferable. Arrival was quick with a dedicated shuttle, but the return transfer involved multiple stops and took over an hour, compared to the usual 25 minute drive.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Alright resort
Well where to start, first Jamicia is beautiful. The Jamician people for the most part were wonderful. The resort was large and it takes a couple of days just to learn the way around. The food was good, the sports bar didn't disappoint. The resort was clean the beach was a struggle due to seaweed. There is a incline so walking around if you have mobility issue are troublesome. The smell of sewage was bad. Which resorts do need to repair. The beds were like sleeping on wood. They could not mix a good drink. It seem like they would mix stuff together and it was not even close to what you asked for. They really tried to push rum on ya. We lost water in our room for a few hours which would of been nice to been informed of.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great resort for our friends getaway
We can't complain about any aspect of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, the cleaning staff were wonderful. We traveled with a group of 14 we were always able to get lounge chairs together at the pool and beach. And at the meals we ate together no problem sitting together. Wait staff in the buffets were awsome as were the bar keepers. Loved the resort and can't wait to go back.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: OK Resort, Definitely not 5 star
We left Canada early in the morning and arrived at the resort in the afternoon, Check in took an hour and a bit, but we were a large group of newly arrived guests. The bus from the airport was full. Our check in experience was interesting- we did not get our previously requested ground floor room right away, we were assigned a 3rd floor room, but after TIPPING the front desk agent, a room suddenly became available. As a former manager at an international hotel chain, I found this interesting. We missed the lunch buffet due to the lengthy check-in, and the dinner buffet was not open yet but we were all incredibly hungry since we hadn't eaten since 6am. After check in, we were driven in a cart to our room with our luggage. The driver was polite and brought our bags to our room for us. pointed out features of the room ( building 35 Lady Hamilton side). We were then directed to the Sports Bar for food until the buffet opened. That was a mistake - the sports bar buffet was empty, and when they brought food to replenish the buffet, it was enough for 2 or 3 guests, not the 30 people who were all starving. There were French fries and some old hotdogs. We also ordered burgers for the 4 of us at our table in the Sports Bar, but it took 75 minutes for our food to arrive. 75 minutes for our order is UNACCEPTABLE. The hotel knows there are guests arriving from flights, they know the arrival times as they repeat weekly, and they know that the Sports Bar is recommended to bus loads of guests as a food option until the buffet opens. There should be some coordination between the front desk and the sports bar staff so that adequate amounts of food is readily available for arriving guests. If guests waited 75 minutes for food from the restaurant in the hotel I was a manager at, both the restaurant and front desk managers would be reprimanded or dismissed. The resort on Lady Hamilton side is older and tired. The floor tile was cracked in the bathroom, paint drips were dried on the floor from whenever they last painted, the toilet area was incredibly small. You could bump your head on the wall in front of the toilet just getting up after using it, the wall is so close. The towel supply was adequate on the first day only. We had 4 bath towels, 2 face cloths, 2 hand towels, a bath mat and a black make- up removal facecloth. Every day after more towels disappeared and were not replaced despite tipping and leaving requests for towels and a bath mat on a note. We ended our stay with only 2 bath towels and one hand towel that we used as a bath mat. The hair dryer worked fine, the safe was also in working order. Other guests in our group did not have working TV’s. The jacuzzi tub didn't look clean so we did not use it. The overall cleanliness of the room was questionable - the make up mirror was spotted and was not cleaned during our stay. The small toilet area floor smelled, and I left a note asking for the floor to be washed. My best guess is that urine was in the grout, and the heat and humidity made it smell like urine. The floors were washed on the day my note was received and it improved the situation. We know the floors were washed because they were still wet when we returned to the room in the afternoon. Our room overlooked the main walkway, and the patio was nice. Nothing special but it was nice with 2 chairs a table and a drying rack (broken). The sliding door was old and you had to position it just right to lock it. the curtains were stained and old and had sun-rot. The sleeper sofa was a hard-foam fold out. Definitely not something you'd expect in this caliber of resort. We did not need to use it, but just sitting on the hard vinyl-covered foam was uncomfortable. The air conditioning was not nearly adequate. The setting would not allow the temp to be adjusted cooler. It was set at 25C/77F. The air conditioner had an automatic shut off - 1. by motion sensor and 2. a sensor when the patio door opened. If there was no one in the room, the air conditioner turned off, which made the room hot and stuffy, especially at night when you slept. No motion, no air. Buffet- the food was adequate and nothing special, the temperature of the food sitting in trays at all the meals would not pass the Canadian Food Safety/ Health Inspection, (but thankfully we did not get sick) The only hot food was when it was prepared in front of you. Scrambled eggs were room temperature, bacon was slightly warm under the red heat lamp, pancakes were refrigerator-cold, French toast was refrigerator-cold, Potatoes and rice were room temperature. The crepes were freshly made so they were hot and actually very good. We liked the lovely woman who made the crepes, she was very kind. The fruit was disappointing- watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple and honeydew melon, bananas, apples, oranges slices. The melons were mostly hard and not ripe. More fruit varieties would have been nice. The juice dispensers were disgusting - it came out thick like pudding, because the juice had settled. (I have photos of the juice/pudding) It was not changed during the shift, and fresh- squeezed juice was not available. The orange juice we asked for from our server was not fresh. It tasted like orange flavored crystals they mix with water, or an orange flavoured drink from a box or can. The desserts were gelatin based - the dessert labeled cheesecake had gelatin in it, creamy mousse desserts were made with gelatin. The cake and the donuts on the dessert buffet were good. The bread items were good, the yellow buns were delicious as well as the coconut buns in a warm glaze. The best hot entrees were the roast pork and the roast beef. I did speak up to another guest one morning at breakfast, they approached the buffet with a plate of scrambled eggs just after I served myself, and she scraped her plate of eggs back into the tray of scrambled eggs on the buffet. There was no attendant in sight at this time. I took it upon myself to tell the guest that she was NOT ALLOWED to scrape her plate back into the fresh food, and she became defensive and defiant, saying she didn't touch it, she just changed her mind after going to her table. I told her it was against food safety standards to put food back that she had already taken to her table. I stood at the egg station, turning other guests away from the tray of scrambled eggs, explaining what happened until a staff member finally came out from the back-kitchen. I told them what the guest did. The attendant didn't quite believe me until I insisted they remove the tray and I pointed to the dirty plate the guest left sitting on the buffet counter. The resort Really Needs to Be Sure there are attendants at each station at all times, or only allow the attendants to serve the guests. How many others have done this? I did see many people eating bacon or other foods with their hands as they also helped themselves to different foods on the buffet. No one asked guests to hold off eating until they returned to their tables. Yuck. Pool and bar area- The pool water temperature was colder than expected. We did swim but it was uncomfortable - maybe because it was February and the water had not warmed up in the sun. Pool seemed clean. There were a lot of available pool chairs, and we enjoyed the visits from the cats that live on the property. The resort should and could do more for the cats who live on the property- I believe from a post on Facebook that they just agreed (March 2026) to conduct a spay and neuter veterinarian clinic for the cats. The pool bar on the west side of the pool was "ok". They did serve a jerk chicken lunch daily which was nice. The bartender was not very attentive when we would ask for drinks. He ignored me one day completely and I finally spoke up and said “I’m not invisible- it was my turn in line” but he served 3 guests a young man, and 2 bikini-wearing young ladies ) who came to the bar after me. I was pretty vocal in my statement and walked away. He did track me down to where I was seated by the pool and apologized. After that incident, our group of 17 friends mostly just used the server who came around to the area where we were sitting. He missed out on all of our tips. The app- it is not user friendly to book restaurant reservations, we ended up going to the front desk to book. The a-la-carte restaurants were alright. We ate at the Mexican restaurant, the Indian restaurant, the Japanese teppanyaki and the Poseidon seafood restaurant. We enjoyed the show and food at the Japanese teppanyaki, and the Indian restaurant's butter chicken was delicious. Service was prompt at all of the a-la-cartes. The seafood restaurant was only ok - the salad bar and the entree's were basically the same selection, only the salad bar seafood was cold and the same food was cooked for the entree. Local seafood options would have made it much better. We did NOT like that they offered to sell us lobster at an extra cost. When we pay for an all inclusive resort, we expect everything to be “all inclusive”, not have items offered at an additional cost. The upper bar above the pool was a nice place to sit in the evening. The sunset views were beautiful. We REALLY enjoyed the live entertainment/music, but the chairs and tables are worn out. some were missing cushions, and had stains. Some nights there was not enough seating for everyone. We didn’t find the shows at the theatre as good as the live music at the bar, They tried but the shows were not our thing. One of the problems was that the music from the theatre show could be heard at the upper level outdoor bar, while there was a musician trying to play. The sound travelled across the pool patio and interfered with the musician. Maybe having the live musician set up straight across from the main bar upstairs or on Miss Lou’s side would have helped? Miss Lou's coffee bar was the BEST spot on the resort. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty, the coffee drinks were amazing, the desserts were delicious, staff was friendly, and I wish we knew it was an option as a place to eat on the day we arrived instead of being directed to the Sports Bar, It may have changed the overall impression we had of the resort from Day 1. We will not go back to this resort. We heard the Iberostar Rose Hall was nicer and they have a cat sanctuary for the cats that live on their property. That is a huge positive for us. Our thoughts are that if a resort cares for the cats, they will most likely care for the guests.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: New Experience
We decided on Bavaro Select because of recent renovations and the fact that we had issues with bathroom facilities when we were at Palace two years ago. We chose a Premium Junior Suite room without knowing where we would be located. As it turned out, this type of room was only located in one of the 3 larger Eficianado buildings on the extreme east side of the Bavaro section(E17, E18, E19). This put us at a fairly long walk to the Bavaro pool. If we had chosen a Superior Junior Suite, we would have been closer to both the pool and beach. When you book, it isn’t always clear which building might contain the type of room that you choose. The creation of Family Select at Bavaro caused some issues for us. The closest area of beach from our room that we were allowed to use had virtually no shade. Family Select and Travel Club had their own private beach that were restricted to us, meaning an extra long walk to find a beach location with huts for shade. Family Select also had a private pool but those guests were also allowed to use the regular Bavaro Pool, making it crowded at times. We had an electricity outage at our room that persisted over parts of 3 days. We had to walk to the lobby to notify of the outage because the land line in the room wasn’t working. The problem was initially fixed quickly but it recurred again the next night. If we were to book Palladium again, we would be looking at a different room type, or fork over more money to stay at TRS. We like the resort for the most part, but there are certainly some issues.

TRS Turquesa: Beautiful Resort
We loved the TRS Turquesa Resort. The rooms were lovely and all of them have their own pool which we especially loved. The food was great at all of restaurants. The main buffet is amazing with so much variety, but it was a bit busy and noisy for us, because it is the main buffet for the other hotels on the property as well, so we mainly went to the buffet at Turquesa. We didn't know going in that the property would be as large as it is, but because we were in TRS Turquesa which is the Adult Only Hotel, we could retreat to a more quiet atmosphere which is what we liked. Our only complaint was that there wasn't much entertainment in the evenings. There was a singer or a piano player in the lobby, but it didn't really provide the set up for a romantic evening of dancing. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and it was especially great having our own butler to book dinners and call the shuttle for us. Our butler was Nancy, and she was just incredible!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Good resort, bad customer service
We've been to this resort before, and decided to go again due to the access, facilities, and variety of this resort. We go with a big group of 16 people and are always generous with our tips and interactions. The resort changed their access packages/policies after we booked, without informing people who had booked. Upon arrival, our friends were all upgraded automatically to honour their package and access (2 families from general to family selection, 2 families from general to VIP). However, we were not. We arrived with a later flight, but on the same day. We were told by the front desk that it's because we didn't book through Expedia, but not all of our friends did. With the package/protocol in place, according to the front desk we had access to 1 pool, a very small area of the resort, and limited restaurants (2 restos, 1 buffet). We ended up having to pay 840 USD extra to get the required access. They said they made a "special price", and we could have the upgrade for this amount instead of 1050 USD. It feels quite dishonest to gauge people for extra money when you're already there, otherwise limiting our ability to spend time with friends -- the exact reason we flew in for. Even though the resort and facilities are nice, this left a very bad taste for us.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Disappointing!
I was fortunate to have stayed at this resort 15 years ago when it first opened and was excited to return... The service and food was lacking. It's a line up to get into any of the buffets and an even longer line for a fried egg. Not all of the a la carte/buffets are open daily so it's a guessing game as to which one you'll end up at. The resort app is glitchy but the best way to book a la cartes, note that they book for 3 days in advance right when the window opens or you will miss out. Very difficult to reach any service agents to address a host of issues from lack of toilet paper to being locked out 3 times. We were promised certain amenities upon arrival and they were not recieved. We have had equal and/or better at lessor rated resorts in Montego Bay.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Amazing resort!
We had a wonderful time. Everyone was healthy. The resort was beautiful & well maintained. Lots of sports in the rear of the resort for our gentlemen. The nightime entertainment was great. Enjoyed the band after the entertainment in the lobby. Food was yummy. Best a la cartes we've been to. Beautiful palm tree forest and beach walking northbound along the beach. One of our highlights. The wee bit of improvement: no latin music or fun games by the beautiful pool. Also a bit too deep to walk around in. The location was a bit far from everything (40 min Playa del Carmen, 30 mins Tulum...we knew that going in, was ok). Overall, solid 4.5, we were very happy with our vacation and choice of hotels. Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Great time
This hotel is quite big and if I had mobility issues, it would have been tough. Other than that, I would say my biggest complaint was booking the restaurants through the App as it didn’t work for us. The pool is cold and the beach area is okay. If booking an additional service, make sure you get a receipt at the time as they charge it to your room and you have to pay before you leave…they tried to charge us $50 US more than what we agreed to but we argued the charge and wound up paying what we agreed to.

My wife and I have been to Mexico for 17 trips in total to a wide variety of areas, resort could use a freshening up but food was good, rooms were decent, mini bar was stocked, bed was hard as a rock LOL. Pools and grounds were kept in great shape, and the layout with respect to the beach was ideal. Beach is beautiful and we watched whales almost everyday. Good bars, name brand alcohol, superbowl party was awesome.

TRS Yucatan: Amazing resort!
One week stay here was not enough! Top notch resort. Easy and pleasant check-in, rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Even the bathrooms at the beach or in the resort are spa-like and very clean. Our room was cleaned daily, and always very well done. Food is absolutely delicious. We ate at five different restaurants and loved each one. Our butlers, Eric and Lisandra, were so helpful and pleasant. They took care of the restaurant reservations, and were always quick to respond to any questions we had. The beach is the tiny negative for me. It’s very narrow and parts are rocky. The TRS beach is a bit of a walk, but the shuttles are a great way to get there. Once there, that section of beach is beautiful (but small) and great food and drinks. The staff is polite and helpful throughout the resort. I can’t recommend it enough. We will be returning for sure!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Less Than Promised
Ground were beautiful despite the recent hurricane. Most employees were great and those that were not are obviously only attending to those people who were handing out large amounts of tips. Office staff is deplorable, tried to soak us for $750.00 vendor fee when we asked for a local tattoo artist to come and provide us with a tattoo. This was our second time in 3 years coming to this resort and it has gone way down hill. We would not recommend it to anyone. Pool should be shutdown, it is not filtering the water properly and is very cold! Ocean was warmer that the pool and beach was spotless and amazing. Food was great at the Steak House, Italian and Poseidon, Buffet's were good but very repetitive. Entertainment was too short and catered to specific groups of people. Really quite boring!

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Disappointed
Colonial - Disappointing The beach in front of the Colonial/Kantenah is beautiful as is the pool area. The rooms are dated, we had our room door left open by cleaning staff which was unacceptable; luckily our belongings were fine and the safe untouched. The buffet food was cold at times and the variety from day to day was lacking. They had two great a lacartes; the Japanese and the Steak House which we enjoyed. The resort is trying hard to appease young families and the beach is great for young families. The beach bar was washing the plastic cups by spraying quickly putting them back into the rotation as the beach waiters quickly went around and picked up the empty cups from the guests. That doesn’t sit well especially at a time of viruses etc. Cleanliness was not always trustable. Overall it was a disappointing experience given it was a third visit based on more enjoyable shows and better food and overall service. The evening shows were few and far between; although they did have some kiddie shows at 8:00 a few Nights.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Would not go back
The Resort is beautiful. The main buildings and pool are all very nice. The beach on the Jamaica side is not very nice; but the Lady Hamilton side is very nice. For us, the Resort is way too spread out. Too far to walk from the Villa to the main building. We had to rely on the shuttle every time; and even standing waiting on the shuttle was hard on us. The food in the buffets was not very good. Very repetitive and not very hot at all. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant - food was good but again, not hot.

The Grand Palladium is a wonderful resort. Very clean, staff are exceptional and the food at the buffet was very good. It wasn't overly busy which was good. My daughter loved the teen club and looked forward to spending time there with friends. It was the perfect family vacation.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Very responsive staff!
I have never stayed at a resort with such genuinely helpful staff. They were always happy to assist and greeted us with a smile. Any issue that arose—and there were very few—was resolved quickly and without hesitation. The Grand Palladium also boasts the longest pool I have ever seen. I snorkelled every day, and each time I was happy to see a variety of different and unusual fish.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Don't Waste Your Money
Our 11 night stay was filled with issues, rudness and ultimately a very disappointing vacation. At the end of the stay the hotel tried to scam us out of an additional $750 usd. We made previous arrangements to have a local tattoo artist come and do some worm and upon arrival he was denied entry although he had been granted entry previously. This hotel does not care about the local people only about making money off of them.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Good resort overall, rooms not great
The resort is fine. Very modern in some senses (app to book restaurants, bracelet key, they aren’t militant about the pool towels, etc.) but the rooms are lacking in most ways. Very little storage (zero drawers), no bathroom counter space (instead there are two sinks which is not necessary). One very tiny garbage. Our safe was broken, they fixed it. The TV was also broken but we just left it, didn’t want to continuously have people in the room fixing things. Food is good, lots of selection and it was good quality. We ate at the Italian, Thai, and steakhouse and they are all good, with great service. Airport transfer is easy but SO MANY STOPS, on the way back, the 80km ride took almost 2 hours. Pools are good (a little cold but nothing crazy).

TRS Turquesa: Great experience
All aspects of the hotel were very good - cleanliness, food, rooms, staff and support. Sargassum / seaweed was plentiful on the beach, cleanup crews struggled to keep up. May be due to prevailing winds for the winter season (Dec 2025).

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Shame about the food.
The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and the pools are genuinely lovely — plenty of space to relax and enjoy the setting. Unfortunately, the food is fairly mediocre overall, and the booking system for the à la carte restaurants is an absolute joke. It’s frustrating, time-consuming, and feels completely unnecessary for a resort of this size. A nice property let down by its dining experience and an inefficient reservation system.

I have been going to Punta Cana for eight years and I have received excellent service at the grand Palladium. The service was outstanding as always. I like to give a shout out to William , Jose Luis at the palace, pool bar, and the rest of the staff! At the palace lounge bar a hug thank you to Jose Alberto Alexander Vidal and the supervisor Alcid , outstanding service! At the El Dorado the service was excellent and a shout out to Biki and Lois great service again as always my experience was very nice. I was well looked after any issues I had were looked after right away. Nothing is perfect, but to me a holiday is what you make it and the staff is what keeps me coming back? The food overall was excellent. I love their café. The cappuccino was excellent !!! It is paradise and I definitely will be coming back. Thank you again for a wonderful holiday.!!!!

Grand Palladium Palace: Pick another resort until Fully Renovated !
Currently here for 7 nights. Booked through trip central/Air canada vacations. Flight portion of the trip was smooth. Definitely spend your money elsewhere for a resort. We came 10 years ago but this place is now showing its age. AC struggles to keep room temp below 23.8 C. Outlets falling out of walls- it definitely needs a facelift. If you have any gymnastics abilities you will do great navigating the step up into the deep tub/ shower combo. I can’t believe some people haven't fallen getting out of this contraption. If your traveling with someone other than your significant other and book a loft suite the glass in between the main bed and shower is frosted- think 80’s silhouette…def not suitable. 90% of the restaurants are closed- something not noted on the booking website or I would have chosen another resort. Bavaro section is closed due to renovations so you have 1 main restaurant for breakfast/Lunch/Dinner with another buffet restaurant opened for lunch. Only place that is air conditioned is Hemmingway Bar- burger truck parked beside it. Made 5 trips to the front desk to get the ac looked at- its standard was the response after 3 technicians came to look at it ..asked to switch rooms and it seemed like that was a big inconvenience. Sorry Pladium…. Your 5 star has lost its rating at the moment. On the plus side- wait staff is amazing, pool bar staff always have whatever you require- pool is clean- lots of loungers at this time period….Rock show in lobby on Thursday nite is very good- other than that minimal activities. Pushy travel club salespeople in the lobby, around the pool trying to get you to a timeshare presentation. I think if you are very good at saying no you will have no problem. But every time they see you at the lobby they have to try. Highlight of the trip is the coffee bar..frap’s, fruit jars, donuts, hot or iced coffee- def one of the best things here. After numerous trips to the front desk the Concierge/Guest Services/Victor and the whole team gave us another room with much better cooling capabilities. Even this room is showing its age with the jetted tub rings all fallen off and placed at the side of the tub, Caulking around tub should be replaced. I thnk that they should use their Cleaning team to note the rooms that need repair and small issues that could be easily fixed instead of just cleaning. They are really the first point of contact with the rooms and documentation could go a long way with fixing Guest issues. The Bavaro side is planning to open In December and the rooms do look amazing although they will be at a premium. If you are looking for pools, food, drink and don't mind the overall conditions of the room then come down. The staff at the restaurants and La UVa are more than phenomenal. My issues stem from the conditions of the rooms only but we really didn't spend much time in them. I understand the contraints and pressures the guest services team are under as they know the rooms are tired and I have no doubt they will try and accomodate and make it right. Grounds are immaculate as expected and they do their best to combat the seaweed influx. Although the customer service team is amazing I do think we will try another resort on our next visit to the island. Until the whole resort does a refresh find another place to book. I am not one to usually write reviews but extremely disappointed in this resort.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Resort Needs Work!
Room: The rooms need updating. The door lock didn’t work. We had to call service 4 times to have safe fixed. The power outlet came out of wall when unplugging hair dryer. The floor shower cap was not secured to floor. The toilet leaked water all over the floor. Cockroaches in room. Construction taking place next door for Bavaro resort so very noisy from morning to late afternoon. Shuttle: VERY hard to get shuttle from room. Basically had to walk all the time. Food: NO variety. Same food each day. Service: was okay but people not very friendly unless you spoke Spanish. Beach: was okay. They tried their best to clean seaweed. Last 2 days they closed off a portion of the beach so access was limited. Pools: were clean but very limited seating options. Entertainment: only 2 nights they had a show but they were in a very small space and very crowded. Lobby personnel: were rude and not helpful.

Beach was OK a ton of weeds that could have been cleaned up more often at least a section. Booked a boat trip off the beach for a private trip with 30ppl it was a good time! I was a bit nervous about the open view to the bathroom but they had a full remote controlled blind so it was totally private. Never had any problems with hot water, bar always filled. The beds were very comfortable. All of the restaurants and the buffet had ample selections and the food was great. TRS Turquesa: Great Adult Retreat
We are seasoned travelers to this resort and we find it suits our tastes for a vacation, nice swim up room, lovely beach to walk on and it gives total relaxation. Upon arrival at your room you are greeted by a Butler who gives you a rundown of things you need to know. Will show you the Apps to use especially the Palladium one which gives you all the restaurants that are available showing you the menu for each -Highly recommends that you do this right away and sit down with the Butler and and make your reservations. Our Butler Service was outstanding - hats off to Victor who was pleasant and made every effort to make our stay one to remember. Excellent attention to detail and made a point to show interest . The other Butler (didn't get her name) was just as good as well. Very attentive The grounds of this resort are immaculate - lovely to walk around and enjoy the flowering bushes - just the total ambience gives you a lift for total relaxation Our room was well kept, very clean and well maintained and the housekeeping staff was very good as well as the night staff for turn downs. We had ample towels. No complaints. The fridge was stocked every day with want we requested There are all types of activities that are posted each day.......They have a Casino which is fun that we went to almost every night after dinner. We met some great people and had lots of fun. In the Swim-Up Pool area - there is bar that will serve you all types of liquor and specialty drinks - so convenient Plus they have introduced a "Food Truck" that features hamburgers and hot dogs - nice touch if you are not wanting to go to the Helios or Capricho or the Grill for lunch - it was a great gathering place to chat with other vacationers TRS has 5 restaurants on the property, but you can also reserve at the other resorts as well. Capricho - we tend to have breakfast and lunch here - it is buffet style but a huge variety of food for everyone's tastes - lovely breads, omelets, fruits and cheese, cold meats, lovely desserts etc. Testrizone - this is a new one for us and was during the evening hours where the menu was varied - Pizzas - quite good, Pasta - Ravioli was excellent and the grouper was outstanding La Boehem (French) - has been updated in decor which was nice and the food choices were very good depending on what is your preference Kuscko - Asian - if you like sushi - one of the best we have eaten- their 'starts" & appetizers were tasty Helios - we went for dinner - lovely atmosphere by the beach and the food was good especially the soup The other restaurants - Bamboo - it was really crowded and busy when we went - but the Salad bar was well presented and tasty - the staff we were not impressed with or the main course El Eldorao - a total disappointment - the salad bar is sub par - this restaurant is old and very tired - it definitely needs to be revamped and upgraded in decor and also their menu - we were not impressed at all but my husband said the steak was good Our recommendation is that you leave tips for the waiters, cleaning staff, butler and bartenders - they really appreciate the gesture and have a tendency to remember you and you will note the difference of service. It is nice to see their smiles of "thank you" from them As mentioned before, we have been here many times, and have seen changes for the good and some are questionable. Having said that, we will be returning. We had some hiccups, any resort has them, nothing is perfect. But was nice that they were resolved quickly.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Not my favourite
I have been to at least ten resorts in Punta Cana. This was my least favourite. It was large and confusing to get your bearings. The beach was narrowing than other resort, a long walk from our room and it was hard to get chairs. The food was good. The white wine was awful. The mixed drinks were alcohol mixed with slush as opposed to a blender drink. Staff mostly couldn’t speak any English. I did not like the deep jetted tub. It would be very difficult for an older person to climb into, even with the box set beside it. Also wasn’t thrilled that the wall between the bathroom and bedroom was frosted glass. Two girls sharing room Could see sillouite through glass and made room bright with light through glass. Now what really upset us. We returned to our room one evening to find a roach on our wall. We had very high ceilings and the roach was about 15 feet up. We called the front desk, which took many tries, and they said someone would be right there. As they didn’t show up, we wanted to go to bed and the bug was now over one of our beds, we called again and we promised they would be right there. No one ever showed up. We finally threw shoes and face clothes at it, while standing on our bed. After numerous tries we managed to knock it down and kill it. We reported it to the front desk in person the next morning and got. Feeble sorry. One our last night, Shelley got very I’ll. She had chills, nausea, diarrhea, muscle twitching and a swollen tongue. She is 60 years old with a history of a heart attack and kidney issues. The girls walked to the main desk and asked for medical help. They were told somebody would we right there. In the interim we tried to cool her down and I contacted my nurse practitioner daughter who suggested we get medical assistance. We waited up for a couple of hours and no one ever showed up!!!!!!!!! This was unacceptable!!

The hotel was fine, except for a large bug in our room which no one came to help us with, even though we requested help. The beach was disappointing as it had quite a decline to get down to the beach. Also, my sister Shelley got very sick with either food poisoning or heatstroke. We called the air canada rep for help to get a doctor as it was 10:30 at night and she didn't answer. We went to the front desk and requested a doctor and even though he said someone would come, no one came the entire night. We were very afraid for her health. I will not return to that resort again. I was travelling with my sisters and they called the front desk to ask for a doctor. No doctor ever came and no one even bothered to follow up, not even a phone call. I had to spend the day in airports extremely sick, laying down on the floor in the Punta Cana airport. The front desk was nonresponsive on any call, from getting bugs from the vaulted ceiling to needing bottles of water, which neither ever came.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Fantastic Resort
The Grand Palladium Punta Cana was a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. There was not one negative thing I could say about the entire experience. A special shout out to Edwin and Constantino at the sports facility that made our Pickleball experience very rewarding. We hope to return again next year. Muchas Gracais!

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Just Average
Compared to the 2 other resorts we have stayed at in the Caribbean, Grand Palladium Punta Cana was just ok. The grounds and pools were very nice, and the beach was beautiful. The rooms were clean and housekeeping replenished everything daily, but the were quite dated, with a very awkward tub/shower combo. It was hard to get good service at the buffets - we were always waiting for place settings, water, coffee, drinks... Food was generally lukewarm, but tasted fine. The a la cartes were hit and miss. We had 3 good experiences, and 3 not so good. I would probably try another resort over returning to this one.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Very nice resort
Grounds were pretty cool. Lots of wildlife. Secret pool was awesome. Marcelino was the best bartender at the Secret Pool Bar. Food was okay. Breakfast was the best, especially at the Grand Azul. Sports Bar food was okay but the service could be improved. Room was a little dated but we don't go for just the room. If we had an issue it was dealt with. Beach wasn't as good as other resorts we've been to and not enough loungers.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Great holiday
After a not very welcoming reception experience, the rest of our stay was truly enjoyable. The people working on resort were very helpful and friendly, appreciated a tip but did not seem to base their work upon this. The beach is beautiful - fine white sand, long and felt very safe to go for a good walk. The water is warm. Lots of loungers and umbrellas at the beach and pools. No crazy games reserving chairs, which was a relief. The resort itself is large, but if you don’t feel like walking all of it there are frequent golf carts offering rides. Entertainment each night with a variety of options. They have invested in the quality of entertainment, stage, etc. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Restaurants were great - main buffet is huge, clean and offers great variety. Lunch at the beach buffet never disappointed. Loads of choice, fresh fish to order and a lovely venue. A la cart places were all well done. .

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Extremely Disappointing
So many negatives: -5 hour transit time from plane landing to security, then luggage, then drive to hotel (only 45 mins). Hotel states to blame Air Transat, Air Transat says blame Trip Central. Even when trying to review with Trip Central they push blame advising me to call the local taxi company (a Mexican number). This entire package was suggested and supported (not) by Trip Central. -Terrible check in, 6 am flight to get to resort early and in addition to 5 hour transit time, the room was not ready until after 5 pm. -Impossible to book any restaurant. When a few were booked (after complaining and getting to top management), the food was poor. They wanted us to eat buffet all the time and never book a restaurant. -Many bars but line ups and only one bartender. All drinks highly watered down and poor. -Pushy for tips on every request to do anything. -Impossible to get around resort, rude drivers of shuttles on many occasions. -Can't swim in water. Poor. -9 of us went and never again with Trip Central, Air Transit or any Grand Palladium.

TRS Turquesa: Beautiful property, beach, pools and good food
This hotel is truly beautiful, the beach is great, super clean. Pools are busy, but quiet pools are so nice if you just want to relax, daybeds and palapas with lounges were always available(what a treat!) throughout the day. Food was pretty good so missed the mark. Generally good but the servers could learn a little English and just basic hospitality. Rooms were very nice, king size beds that were fairly comfortable. In general a great spot for an adult only retreat.

the grounds were well maintained, the staff were very friendly it covered vast amounts of land which took long walks to cover the whole area the thai ala cart restaurant and the steak house were excellant the main buffett becalme sort of same food being served after a while breakfasts were great the beds in our room should be changed as they were creaking and well worn we were placed on the fourth floor of villa 4 as there was an error in bed assignments for 3 adults the main pool wa fantastic and the beach was great for long walks

TRS Cap Cana Hotel: Disappointment
Outside grounds were clean, neat & well landscaped, but the rooms are a major letdown. The resort bills itself as 5 star but the rooms are no better than 3 star at best. New mattresses and a dash of paint over past bestbefore date everything. Our 1st room had a noisy A/C fan, a bar fridge that didn't work, & a bathroom that looked worn out and dingy. For an extra $700+ we were able to upgrade somewhat(same jr. suite, but with a swim up pool). Food was generally good, with a reasonable variety of dishes. Staff were very friendly, but poorly trained in alot of cases, forgetting to bring drinks, etc. My wife developed food poisoning on about the 5th day which ruined the balance of our vacation. We never left the resort, so we know the issue was on site.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Bad Service Experience
We recently travelled to Jamaica Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton resort from October 26th to October 30th, 4 night 5 days. We booked a romance villa suite ocean view (Room# 3132) because we were celebrating our 19th year wedding anniversary. We booked this room mainly because of the features of the room. The 1st issue we encountered was one of the lounge chair on our balcony was missing the cushion. We requested to get that on Sunday morning at front desk, we did not receive it so we called from the room to request again. Late Monday evening we finally received one and we were able to enjoy the balcony on Tuesday which was our 4th day there. (The day before coming back home) The 2nd issue is the Jacuzzi tub in our room started leaking when it was turned on, we have a jacuzzi tub at home and we are aware of how to use it. This issue happened late Monday night as we were trying out the tub because we wanted to use it on the day of our anniversary Tuesday 29th of October. On Tuesday morning we brought it to their attention and left the room to enjoy our day. When we returned in the evening, we noticed it was not fixed. We then went to the front desk and spoke to the Customer relation manger on duty. She did offer to have someone come to look at the issue at that moment and did admit that there was a lack of communication from them and they dropped the ball in attending to the issue, but it was already late at night and because we just had a little time remaining on the day of our anniversary we didn't want to spend it with maintenance personnel or being moved to another room, At this point we only had a few hours left before returning home the next day. Unfortunately at the moment it didn't occur to us to take any pictures of the issues. Please note that flights to and from Jamaica was great and on time and so was the transfers to and from the hotel, our main issue was service and the room. The issue has been documented in the hotels system when we spoke to the Customer Relations Manager. This issue has been ongoing since October and has not been resolved.

TRS Cap Cana Hotel: Mixed feelings
We had a problem with our toilet every day, it is an older resort. The food and drink were great, and the butler was a real bonus. Especially in light of the toilet situation. Very Quiet and isolated resort. Nice of you don’t want to see other people, boring if you do.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Grand Palladium
I do not think a resort is my style. There was a lot of walking, which at my age is not always a good idea. I had a private pool which I did not use, because the water was cold and there was no sun on my side of the building. I got tired of the buffets, not much for a fussy eater. I did not feel welcome at the resort, there is so many people that I am just another face in the crowd, and after spending the money I did, I wanted to feel special and that there would always be someone there to take care of my needs. I wanted to feel like a queen. I am thankful for the time I spent here, but I would not stay at a resort again. I am planning another trip to JA, but at my place.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: 3rd time, not a charm
This was my 3rd stay at GP in PV. Upon arrival, we had to haul our bags to the desk, and then were told we had to share a bed because it was "full" so they wouldn't accommodate our request of 2 beds. (2 mature females) unless we would pay another $400CAD to upgrade-even though our travel agent said we would definitely get 2 beds- that is the ONLY reason we chose this resort and not one in town! Then, I guess because I'd been there before, we had to navigate & bring our own suitcases and bags to the room. My cousin is almost 70 and has bad knees, so this was NOT inviting. After 3 days of not the greatest sleep, I didn't tell my cousin, but I paid hundreds of dollars to downgrade our room just so we could get 2 beds. They used to have a zoo- it is no longer there (disappointing). The coffee that used to be great is very hit and miss whether their new machines work, and the carafe is gross coffee. The membership pitch I did (just for the palladium dollars to use at the spa) the guy was sick and kept wiping his nose and picking it the entire time. It was disgusting. the food is very good, the adult pool is nice but very warm (main pool is freezing!), most the staff is great- a few ignored us no matter how long we waited in line if there was locals they would prefer to serve. The walkway is VERY slippery and was often wet because the sprinklers were broken or pointed the wrong way. It is beautiful resort if this is your first trip and wanting to be far away from the city. All in all, not as memorable as the last 2 times I was there, and personally I would not return. It was outrageous I had to pay hundreds to get a 2nd bed that we were already promised we paid thousands for to begin with. Money talks. Even if they're 'full'.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Many amenities and restaurants
Their are many restaurants to choose from provided you are a party of four or less people. The food was excellent except the buffet, it was just okay. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The housekeeping staff are top notch. Appreciated the coffee bar, excellent coffee and pastries. The wait staff in the Al a carte restaurants were great. The spa is amazing. Front desk staff were very helpful. Guest services was difficult to reach at times and not enough staff. The views are truly breathtaking on the beach and quieter area if your not into the crowds in the pool areas. Quite a few shops at the hotel, convenient. The bell man were prompt and courteous.

TRS Turquesa: Great resort.
Arrived at the hotel after a long travel day and reception was average. Checked in, room not ready so directed us to where we could have some lunch which was at Helios. Yes they wanted us to talk to the people in green, but we said not interested, thank you and went to lunch. Yes they try to approach you as you walk through the lobby throughout our stay, but we just said no thank you. Helios lunch was ok, not much left as it was at the end of the open time. Got into our room just after lunch. Met our butler MIguel (and informed us there would be Cesar, Chris and Oscar that would also be around). Miguel booked our first two ala cartes then Cesar booked the rest. We were in building 52, top floor with a view of the pool and ocean from afar. The room was a good size, and very clean. Robe and slippers and well stocked fridge, as well as large bottle of water every day. Room was cleaned every day (turned down night time service as we did not need it even though it was available.) We had breakfast and lunch at Helios and Capricho. Great variety and selection of food. Overall, the restaurants provided a nice atmosphere and variety of menu options. We at at Helios (best steak and chicken) as well as dinner at Tentazione (italian - good), Kusko (definitley different food), La Adelita (mexican - really good). Cesar had booked our other ala cartes but unfortunately my husband caught a bit of a bug and we were unable to go so we hit Las Torres (the buffet restaurant - opened at 6:30) The selection of food was excellent. My husband and I had no complaints about the food at all. Bars were good however if you ask for your premium liquor they will give it to you, otherwise you get lower level liquour. When you got the good liquor, drinks were amazing. Faierny (sorry for spelling) at main bar was super nice and made our drinks to perfection. Spent time at the big pool as well as the smaller pool by the swim up rooms. All staff were friendly and accomodated when we needed something. Never had any issue with beach towels. We would put our towels on our chair by 7, go for our walk, have breakfast then sit by pool. Never spent time on beach, but it was crowded with lots of chairs. Did alot of walking on the beach. Alot of little shops and were hounded every day but we just ignored them and they left us alone. Played pickle ball a couple of mornings. Nice courts, just very hot. TRS is attached to the other Palladium hotels, which give you alot of options of restaurants, bars etc. We never had any issues getting a shuttle over or back. We were able to walk to most locations. The shops were nice over at the grand palladium. On our second last day, as I was not feeling well, Oscar was able to secure a cab for our ride to the airport the next day (as I did not want to wait for the Air Canada shuttle). He was super nice and made sure he was there in the lobby waiting to load us. It was greatly appreciated. The few issues we had related to water. Low water pressure one day for a few hours, no water for a couple of minutes the next day, and no toilet water for a few hours on another day (considering not feeling well, a bit of a problem). Went to front desk about toilet issue and all they said they've been having issues. No apologies, no we are working on it so that was disappointing. Our last night, had a huge rainstorm and found a leak in our room right next to our bed, mentioned to them the next morning on check out, again no apology. Last problem was our outside hall faced a strip of stores, and on the Sunday, music blared until 2 in the morning. Overall, considering the few issues we had, we would have no problem in returning to the resort

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Not as expected
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We had a leak in bathroom first day and we're here with a 9 month old on our first trip. I had to call 5 times and still the problem wasn't rectified. I had to call a 6th time and yell and swear at them to eventually get a room change. The pools and beach are all nice, but the customer service is rated at zero stars if I could rate it. We also ordered room service as with a baby it is difficult to always go out to grab food, ordered lunch and still 2 hours later, nothing arrived to the room. We have been on multiple all inclusive resorts, and this has by far been the worst experience ever in terms of customer service. I expected much more from this resort. I never leave reviews, but this resort has made me do so.

Resort was too big for our liking.. first day curtain rod fell on my forehead and nobody fixed it the entire time we were there .... if you want peace stay away from the guys in greenish / turquoise shirts... they lie saying you are all family free spa , free massage etc, but they are on a mission to sell timeshare..... Also for future will never deal with Natasha Spencer..she was horrible to deal with ... so many issues and not a care to respond to emails on a timely manner, sometimes rude and her excuse was have been doing this for a long time.. professionalism goes a long way.. Will never use trip central agents like her again ... same as customer service was rude

Staff were awesome. Room was really nice but our air conditioning wasn't working properly (26-27 degrees), they said it was resolved, it wasn't. Food was alright, beach was okay, pool was great. Grand Palladium Palace: Such a nice relaxing vacation!
My husband and I had such a great time at the Grand Palladium Palace, part of three hotels of grand palladium. Therefore lots of walking around, got lots of steps in but towards the end we used the trains a couple times. I do find I prefer a smaller, more quaint resort where you don't have to walk 20 minutes to a restaurant in heels, we found we had to walk to the Bavaro one quite a bit. Anyway the a la cartes are nothing to write home about, the buffets were pretty decent. Room was great, bed was comfy, no issues with the AC. Tried room service once, didn't find it anything special. But what you go for is the Ocean and it was amazing and a beautiful turquoise color, very inviting, we were in there a lot! Never stepped into any of the pools though, sometimes a few loud kids and loud music, much preferred the quiet beach area. Always lots of beach chairs available.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Resort exceeded expectatioms
First impression as I stepped into the Lady Hamilton Lobby "Wow". The colonial motif and grandeur of the lobby and resort blew me away. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The resort shuttle dropped me off at my villa and the driver escorted me to my room. The resort buildings are showing a little wear and tear. Overall though they are very well maintained. The grounds are also very well kept. Gardners and maintenance staff were always present. I had to call maintenance once to assist with the lock on my suite door. They came quickly to my suite and resolved the issue post haste. Maps and signs are abundant and made navigating around the resort a snap. The Palladium app which was downloaded and set up for me at check-in was great. I used it often. My first impression as I entered my Junior Suite - was " nice". The room was a very nice size and the ocean view from my balcony was a pleasure to view in the mornings as I drank the wonderful Blue Mountain coffee. My housekeeping person Melonie was wonderful. I had forgotten something (toothpaste) and asked her if she could help and she did. The spa exceeded my expectations. The treatments I had and the hydrotherapy were wonderful. I was glad that I took advantage of the special. The entertainment was excellent and varied. The night shows were top-notch. My favourites were: the Las Vagas, Bob Marley Tribute, and the Circus. The staff was exceptional and friendly. They made my stay even more pleasurable. Overall, I found the buffet and ala carte restaurants to have a pleasant atmosphere, good food, and great service. I enjoyed the Jamaican and Caribbean dishes served at the buffets. My favourite buffet place was the Blue Lagoon. Who would not want to eat on the patio overlooking the pool while listening to the live music? At the El Dorado ( steak) restaurant, I requested a coffee and my server went out of her way to get me what I had asked for - an americano. Now that is great service. I appreciated that they waited to find out if what I had ordered was cooked to my specifications - it was. The two Jerk huts beachside had wonderful Jerk Chicken and Pork. Very popular as the lines attested. My favourite coffee place was Miss Lou's. Too bad the piano was broken at the time of my visit. I could easily see myself enjoying a late-night coffee there while listening to the piano. Only two minor drawbaks tick out. None of the bars on the resort served the Jamaican Dragon Stout or Ginger Beer. I did find them in the gift store eventually. The first night at the bar I asked for a common cocktail called Dark and Stormy (made with Ginger Beer) and was told they could not make it for me. That did not detour me from partaking in the other wonderful cocktails they made. Every day was a new one to try. Overall a wonderful experience.
